<p>Twenty women took part in the Bullet bike rally. The programme was jointly inaugurated by chief guest Ram Kumari Jhakri and executive committee member of Nepal Tourism Board (NTB), Krishna Aryal.</p>

<p>The rally which started from Bhrikutimandap took the route of Sahidgate, New Road, Durbar Marg, Kamalpokhari, Naxal, Baluwatar, Maharajgunj, Budanilkantha&nbsp; and reached Green Valley Resort located at Shivapuri.</p>

<p>The participants of the rally also took part in different programmes organized by the company. The winners were awarded and felicitated by the Nepali Congress leader Laxmi Khatiwada.&nbsp; &nbsp;</p>

<p>Speaking at the programme, PM Oli said that the government is creating suitable environment for employment and production at the national level. He said that the government is planning e-governance by maximum utilization of modern technology.</p>

<p>&quot;No one will be dying of hunger in Nepal in the near future,&quot; he said. Since Nepal is heading towards economic prosperity after a period of transition and the successful completion of all levels of elections, there is very positive environment for industrial growth and expansion, said Oli.</p>

<p>&quot;The government can strive for economic prosperity with the support from private sector,&rdquo; he said urging all the private sectors to increase investment focusing on the quality of products.</p>

<p>&quot;Neighboring countries are also positive to collaborate with us for investment. So, if we create favorable environment, there is suitable atmosphere for investment in Nepal,&quot; added Oli.</p>

<p>Similarly, Finance Minister Yuwa Raj Khatiwada stressed on increasing export of national products cautioning that the rate of import has increased by 14 folds as compared to export.</p>

<p>The event, promoted by the Trade and Export Promotion Center is participated by entrepreneurs from Nepal, India , China, Bangladesh and Pakistan . Lalitpur District Chambers of Commerce and Federation of Handicrafts Association of Nepal are the co-sponsors of the event.</p>

<p>This is the seventh edition of the annual trade fair with the theme of &lsquo;Showcasing Nepal and the Globe&rsquo;.</p>

<p>Handicraft products and Nepal Trade Integration Strategy (NTIS) products are the major attractions of the trade fair, informed the organisers.</p>

<p>According to the embassy, the Government of India is partnering with United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) for providing Socio-Technical Facilitation to 26,912 home owners in Gorkha and 23,088 homeowners in Nuwakot districts, respectively.</p>

<p>Socio-technical teams from UNDP and UNOPS will assist home owners to reconstruct their homes as per the Government of Nepal&rsquo;s earthquake resistant norms. They will also guide them through the inspection and certification process at different stages of construction so as to enable them to have access to various tranches of housing grant, reads the statement.</p>

<p>The partnership agreements were signed by Ajay Kumar, deputy chief of mission at the Embassy of India, Kathmandu; Renaud Meyer, country director of UNDP Nepal and Sanjay Mathur, regional director of UNOPS Asia Region.</p>

<p>The signing ceremony was attended by CEO of the National Reconstruction Authority (NRA) and other senior government officers from NRA, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Federal Affairs and Local Development and Ministry of Urban Development, among others.</p>

<p>Al Baker announced a raft of forthcoming global destinations for the airline in line with its expedited expansion plans, including the announcement that Qatar Airways will be the first Gulf carrier to begin direct service to Luxembourg.</p>

<p>Other exciting new destinations to be launched by the airline include Gatwick and Cardiff, United Kingdom; Lisbon, Portugal; Tallinn, Estonia; Valletta, Malta; Cebu and Davao, the Philippines; Langkawi, Malaysia; Da Nang, Vietnam; Bodrum, Antalya and Hatay, Turkey; Mykonos and Thessaloniki, Greece; and M&aacute;laga, Spain.</p>

<p>In addition, services to Warsaw, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Prague and Kyiv will increase to a double daily frequency, while services to Madrid, Barcelona and the Maldives will increase to triple daily, the company said in a statement.</p>

<p>On the same day, the award-winning airline also unveiled a brand new interactive exhibition stand.</p>

<p>The brand-new exhibition stand unveiled at the ceremony was designed with a concept of &ldquo;augmented reality.&rdquo; The new stand features a full 360 digital screen wrapping around the entire stand showcasing the signature Qatar Airways five-star journey, while in-flight entertainment experiences allow guests to place themselves virtually into one of the airline&rsquo;s Business Class seats, complemented, of course, by a full-size display of the airline&rsquo;s patented, award-winning &ldquo;First in Business Class&rdquo; concept, &lsquo;Qsuite.&rsquo;</p>

<p>Further developments for the upcoming year were discussed, including additions to the airline&rsquo;s sporting sponsorship portfolio. Qatar Airways is already the official sponsor of many top-level sporting events, including the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia, the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar and the FIFA Club World Cup, reflecting the values of sports as a means of bringing people together, something at the core of the airline&rsquo;s own brand message &ndash; Going Places Together.</p>

<p>Qatar Airways currently operates a modern fleet of more than 200 aircraft via its hub, Hamad International Airport (HIA). Just last month, the airline welcomed the Airbus A350-1000, for which it is the global launch customer.</p>

<p>Socio-technical teams from UNDP and UNOPS will assist home owners to reconstruct their homes as per the Government of Nepal&rsquo;s earthquake resistant norms. They will also guide them through the inspection and certification process at different stages of construction so as to enable them to have access to various tranches of housing grant, reads the statement.</p>

<p>The partnership agreements were signed by Ajay Kumar, deputy chief of mission at the Embassy of India, Kathmandu; Renaud Meyer, country director of UNDP Nepal and Sanjay Mathur, regional director of UNOPS Asia Region.</p>

<p>According to the embassy, the Government of India is partnering with United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) for providing Socio-Technical Facilitation to 26,912 home owners in Gorkha and 23,088 homeowners in Nuwakot districts, respectively.</p>

<p>Socio-technical teams from UNDP and UNOPS will assist home owners to reconstruct their homes as per the Government of Nepal&rsquo;s earthquake resistant norms. They will also guide them through the inspection and certification process at different stages of construction so as to enable them to have access to various tranches of housing grant, reads the statement.</p>

<p>The partnership agreements were signed by Ajay Kumar, deputy chief of mission at the Embassy of India, Kathmandu; Renaud Meyer, country director of UNDP Nepal and Sanjay Mathur, regional director of UNOPS Asia Region.</p>

<p>The signing ceremony was attended by CEO of the National Reconstruction Authority (NRA) and other senior government officers from NRA, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Federal Affairs and Local Development and Ministry of Urban Development, among others.</p>

<p>Al Baker announced a raft of forthcoming global destinations for the airline in line with its expedited expansion plans, including the announcement that Qatar Airways will be the first Gulf carrier to begin direct service to Luxembourg.</p>

<p>Other exciting new destinations to be launched by the airline include Gatwick and Cardiff, United Kingdom; Lisbon, Portugal; Tallinn, Estonia; Valletta, Malta; Cebu and Davao, the Philippines; Langkawi, Malaysia; Da Nang, Vietnam; Bodrum, Antalya and Hatay, Turkey; Mykonos and Thessaloniki, Greece; and M&aacute;laga, Spain.</p>

<p>In addition, services to Warsaw, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Prague and Kyiv will increase to a double daily frequency, while services to Madrid, Barcelona and the Maldives will increase to triple daily, the company said in a statement.</p>

<p>Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Akbar Al Baker, said, &ldquo;Qatar Airways is tremendously excited to announce further expansion with a significant number of new destinations to be added to our extensive global network throughout 2018 and 2019. <p>On the same day, the award-winning airline also unveiled a brand new interactive exhibition stand.</p>

<p>The brand-new exhibition stand unveiled at the ceremony was designed with a concept of &ldquo;augmented reality.&rdquo; The new stand features a full 360 digital screen wrapping around the entire stand showcasing the signature Qatar Airways five-star journey, while in-flight entertainment experiences allow guests to place themselves virtually into one of the airline&rsquo;s Business Class seats, complemented, of course, by a full-size display of the airline&rsquo;s patented, award-winning &ldquo;First in Business Class&rdquo; concept, &lsquo;Qsuite.&rsquo;</p>

<p>Further developments for the upcoming year were discussed, including additions to the airline&rsquo;s sporting sponsorship portfolio. Qatar Airways is already the official sponsor of many top-level sporting events, including the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia, the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar and the FIFA Club World Cup, reflecting the values of sports as a means of bringing people together, something at the core of the airline&rsquo;s own brand message &ndash; Going Places Together.</p>

<p>Qatar Airways currently operates a modern fleet of more than 200 aircraft via its hub, Hamad International Airport (HIA). Just last month, the airline welcomed the Airbus A350-1000, for which it is the global launch customer.</p>

<p>The rally which started from Bhrikutimandap took the route of Sahidgate, New Road, Durbar Marg, Kamalpokhari, Naxal, Baluwatar, Maharajgunj, Budanilkantha&nbsp; and reached Green Valley Resort located at Shivapuri.</p>

<p>The participants of the rally also took part in different programmes organized by the company. The winners were awarded and felicitated by the Nepali Congress leader Laxmi Khatiwada.&nbsp; &nbsp;</p>

<p>&quot;The government can strive for economic prosperity with the support from private sector,&rdquo; he said urging all the private sectors to increase investment focusing on the quality of products.</p>

<p>&quot;Neighboring countries are also positive to collaborate with us for investment. So, if we create favorable environment, there is suitable atmosphere for investment in Nepal,&quot; added Oli.</p>

<p>Similarly, Finance Minister Yuwa Raj Khatiwada stressed on increasing export of national products cautioning that the rate of import has increased by 14 folds as compared to export.</p>

<p>The event, promoted by the Trade and Export Promotion Center is participated by entrepreneurs from Nepal, India , China, Bangladesh and Pakistan . Lalitpur District Chambers of Commerce and Federation of Handicrafts Association of Nepal are the co-sponsors of the event.</p>

<p>This is the seventh edition of the annual trade fair with the theme of &lsquo;Showcasing Nepal and the Globe&rsquo;.</p>

<p>Handicraft products and Nepal Trade Integration Strategy (NTIS) products are the major attractions of the trade fair, informed the organisers.</p>

<p>According to the embassy, the Government of India is partnering with United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) for providing Socio-Technical Facilitation to 26,912 home owners in Gorkha and 23,088 homeowners in Nuwakot districts, respectively.</p>

<p>Socio-technical teams from UNDP and UNOPS will assist home owners to reconstruct their homes as per the Government of Nepal&rsquo;s earthquake resistant norms. They will also guide them through the inspection and certification process at different stages of construction so as to enable them to have access to various tranches of housing grant, reads the statement.</p>

<p>The partnership agreements were signed by Ajay Kumar, deputy chief of mission at the Embassy of India, Kathmandu; Renaud Meyer, country director of UNDP Nepal and Sanjay Mathur, regional director of UNOPS Asia Region.</p>

<p>The signing ceremony was attended by CEO of the National Reconstruction Authority (NRA) and other senior government officers from NRA, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Federal Affairs and Local Development and Ministry of Urban Development, among others.</p>

<p>Other exciting new destinations to be launched by the airline include Gatwick and Cardiff, United Kingdom; Lisbon, Portugal; Tallinn, Estonia; Valletta, Malta; Cebu and Davao, the Philippines; Langkawi, Malaysia; Da Nang, Vietnam; Bodrum, Antalya and Hatay, Turkey; Mykonos and Thessaloniki, Greece; and M&aacute;laga, Spain.</p>

<p>In addition, services to Warsaw, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Prague and Kyiv will increase to a double daily frequency, while services to Madrid, Barcelona and the Maldives will increase to triple daily, the company said in a statement.</p>

<p>The brand-new exhibition stand unveiled at the ceremony was designed with a concept of &ldquo;augmented reality.&rdquo; The new stand features a full 360 digital screen wrapping around the entire stand showcasing the signature Qatar Airways five-star journey, while in-flight entertainment experiences allow guests to place themselves virtually into one of the airline&rsquo;s Business Class seats, complemented, of course, by a full-size display of the airline&rsquo;s patented, award-winning &ldquo;First in Business Class&rdquo; concept, &lsquo;Qsuite.&rsquo;</p>

<p>Further developments for the upcoming year were discussed, including additions to the airline&rsquo;s sporting sponsorship portfolio. Qatar Airways is already the official sponsor of many top-level sporting events, including the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia, the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar and the FIFA Club World Cup, reflecting the values of sports as a means of bringing people together, something at the core of the airline&rsquo;s own brand message &ndash; Going Places Together.</p>

Godrej Appliances along with CG EOL, a subsidiary of Chaudhary Group and the authorised distributor of Godrej Appliances, launched new range of air conditioners, chest freezers and high-end signature series of refrigerators - NXW and Duo series - amid a press conference in the capital.</p>

<p>Godrej, which has been one of the environment conscious companies producing the first green refrigerator and first green inverter AC in India, has been expanding and strengthening its portfolio to offer a complete range of power-efficient home appliances in Nepal.</p>

<p>&ldquo;CG has been always focused on the satisfaction of the customers and Godrej, being a brand which constantly focuses on balancing consumer needs, together our association will be fully focused on the need and convenience of customers and the society at large,&rdquo; shared Nirvana Chaudhary, managing director of Chaudhary Group. He further said that CG has also aggressively extended to reach through channel expansion to 140 direct dealers in 2017 and targets to increase this number to 200 in 2018.</p>

<p>&ldquo;Being a brand that has a deep understanding of refrigeration and its adjacent spaces, and a brand which has built a strong reputation for being reliable, trustworthy and environmentally conscious, it makes perfect sense for Godrej to extend its portfolio to offer the complete range of home appliances in Nepal.
