<p>The company further said that it is taking this initiative in partnership with Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality, Sagarmatha Pollution Control Committee (SPCC), Himalaya Club and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)</p>

<p>Organizing an function at Lukla Airport on March 17, the airline said it flagged off its first flight for the clean-up campaign and shared information about the quantity of collected waste in various collection centers in the Everest region along with a time-bound plan to airlift them. Around 5,000 kg of waste was airlifted in the same day, according to the company.</p>

<p>Yeti Airlines-Tara Air have set an ambitious target of flying out 100 tons of waste from the Everest region in the year 2018 as part of its commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the UN, particularly relating to responsible consumption and production (SDG 12), climate change (SDG13), biodiversity consumption (SDG 15) and partnership (SDG 17).</p>

<p>While the Sagarmatha Pollution Control Committee (SPCC), a local environmental conservation organization and the Himalaya Club Lukla, coordinates the collection of wastes in the Everest region, Blue Waste to Value, a recycling firm in Kathmandu recycles the wastes, as part of its agreement with SPCC. The wastes comprise of mostly empty beer bottles and cans, empty food tins, and discarded mountaineering and trekking equipment.</p>

The agency has published the report to mark the World Happiness Day which is celebrated on March 20 every year.</p>

<p>According to the report published by Sustainable Development Forum Network, Nepal is ranked 101 for its happiness index. The Himalayan nation has slipped two positions down in comparison to the reports from 2016 when it was ranked 99.</p>

<p>Happiness Index of Nepal has fallen to 4.88 in 2017 which was 4.962 in 2016. With this, Nepal still remains third in SAARC, states the report. Nepal is third happiest country in SAARC after Pakistan and Bhutan. Pakistan is ranked first followed by Bhutan second in SAARC and 75 and 97 globally. Bulgaria with a total happiness index of 4.933 lies above Nepal at 100<sup>th</sup> position and Venezuela with 4.806 index is below Nepal raked 102<sup>nd</sup>.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, Bangladesh is ranked fourth followed by Sri Lanka at 5<sup>th</sup> while India stands at 6<sup>th</sup> position with only 4.190 indexes. Afghanistan and the Maldives are excluded in the report. Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and India are ranked 115, 116 and 133 globally, which means Indians are the least happy citizens in SAARC nations excluding Afghanistan and the Maldives.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The report states, Finland to be the world&#39;s happiest country which was at 5<sup>th</sup> position previously. Norway, the happiest country for 2016, has slipped down to second position this time. Norway is followed by Denmark, Iceland, Switzerland, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Sweden and Australia respectively.</p>

<p>As per the report, Finland the happiest country holds an index of 7.632 while Burundi has the lowest happiness index and has been ranked as the least happy country. Burundi was at second last position last year.</p>

<p>The agency has listed 157 countries in its report where war ravaged South Sudan, Tanzania, Yemen, Rwanda, Syria, Liberia, Haiti, Malawi and Botswana are amongst the least happy countries.</p>

<p>The happiness index of the country was determined on the basis of their per capita income, democracy, reliability, life expectancy and social support and rescue.</p>

<p>Organizing an function at Lukla Airport on March 17, the airline said it flagged off its first flight for the clean-up campaign and shared information about the quantity of collected waste in various collection centers in the Everest region along with a time-bound plan to airlift them. Around 5,000 kg of waste was airlifted in the same day, according to the company.</p>

<p>Yeti Airlines-Tara Air have set an ambitious target of flying out 100 tons of waste from the Everest region in the year 2018 as part of its commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the UN, particularly relating to responsible consumption and production (SDG 12), climate change (SDG13), biodiversity consumption (SDG 15) and partnership (SDG 17).</p>

<p>While the Sagarmatha Pollution Control Committee (SPCC), a local environmental conservation organization and the Himalaya Club Lukla, coordinates the collection of wastes in the Everest region, Blue Waste to Value, a recycling firm in Kathmandu recycles the wastes, as part of its agreement with SPCC. The wastes comprise of mostly empty beer bottles and cans, empty food tins, and discarded mountaineering and trekking equipment.</p>

The agency has published the report to mark the World Happiness Day which is celebrated on March 20 every year.</p>

<p>According to the report published by Sustainable Development Forum Network, Nepal is ranked 101 for its happiness index. The Himalayan nation has slipped two positions down in comparison to the reports from 2016 when it was ranked 99.</p>

<p>Happiness Index of Nepal has fallen to 4.88 in 2017 which was 4.962 in 2016. With this, Nepal still remains third in SAARC, states the report. Nepal is third happiest country in SAARC after Pakistan and Bhutan. Pakistan is ranked first followed by Bhutan second in SAARC and 75 and 97 globally. Bulgaria with a total happiness index of 4.933 lies above Nepal at 100<sup>th</sup> position and Venezuela with 4.806 index is below Nepal raked 102<sup>nd</sup>.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, Bangladesh is ranked fourth followed by Sri Lanka at 5<sup>th</sup> while India stands at 6<sup>th</sup> position with only 4.190 indexes. Afghanistan and the Maldives are excluded in the report. Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and India are ranked 115, 116 and 133 globally, which means Indians are the least happy citizens in SAARC nations excluding Afghanistan and the Maldives.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The report states, Finland to be the world&#39;s happiest country which was at 5<sup>th</sup> position previously. Norway, the happiest country for 2016, has slipped down to second position this time. Norway is followed by Denmark, Iceland, Switzerland, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Sweden and Australia respectively.</p>

<p>As per the report, Finland the happiest country holds an index of 7.632 while Burundi has the lowest happiness index and has been ranked as the least happy country. Burundi was at second last position last year.</p>

<p>The agency has listed 157 countries in its report where war ravaged South Sudan, Tanzania, Yemen, Rwanda, Syria, Liberia, Haiti, Malawi and Botswana are amongst the least happy countries.</p>

<p>The happiness index of the country was determined on the basis of their per capita income, democracy, reliability, life expectancy and social support and rescue.</p>

<p>Organizing an function at Lukla Airport on March 17, the airline said it flagged off its first flight for the clean-up campaign and shared information about the quantity of collected waste in various collection centers in the Everest region along with a time-bound plan to airlift them. Around 5,000 kg of waste was airlifted in the same day, according to the company.</p>

<p>Yeti Airlines-Tara Air have set an ambitious target of flying out 100 tons of waste from the Everest region in the year 2018 as part of its commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the UN, particularly relating to responsible consumption and production (SDG 12), climate change (SDG13), biodiversity consumption (SDG 15) and partnership (SDG 17).</p>

<p>While the Sagarmatha Pollution Control Committee (SPCC), a local environmental conservation organization and the Himalaya Club Lukla, coordinates the collection of wastes in the Everest region, Blue Waste to Value, a recycling firm in Kathmandu recycles the wastes, as part of its agreement with SPCC. The wastes comprise of mostly empty beer bottles and cans, empty food tins, and discarded mountaineering and trekking equipment.</p>

The agency has published the report to mark the World Happiness Day which is celebrated on March 20 every year.</p>

<p>According to the report published by Sustainable Development Forum Network, Nepal is ranked 101 for its happiness index. The Himalayan nation has slipped two positions down in comparison to the reports from 2016 when it was ranked 99.</p>

<p>Happiness Index of Nepal has fallen to 4.88 in 2017 which was 4.962 in 2016. With this, Nepal still remains third in SAARC, states the report. Nepal is third happiest country in SAARC after Pakistan and Bhutan. Pakistan is ranked first followed by Bhutan second in SAARC and 75 and 97 globally. Bulgaria with a total happiness index of 4.933 lies above Nepal at 100<sup>th</sup> position and Venezuela with 4.806 index is below Nepal raked 102<sup>nd</sup>.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, Bangladesh is ranked fourth followed by Sri Lanka at 5<sup>th</sup> while India stands at 6<sup>th</sup> position with only 4.190 indexes. Afghanistan and the Maldives are excluded in the report. Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and India are ranked 115, 116 and 133 globally, which means Indians are the least happy citizens in SAARC nations excluding Afghanistan and the Maldives.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The report states, Finland to be the world&#39;s happiest country which was at 5<sup>th</sup> position previously. Norway, the happiest country for 2016, has slipped down to second position this time. Norway is followed by Denmark, Iceland, Switzerland, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Sweden and Australia respectively.</p>

<p>As per the report, Finland the happiest country holds an index of 7.632 while Burundi has the lowest happiness index and has been ranked as the least happy country. Burundi was at second last position last year.</p>

<p>The agency has listed 157 countries in its report where war ravaged South Sudan, Tanzania, Yemen, Rwanda, Syria, Liberia, Haiti, Malawi and Botswana are amongst the least happy countries.</p>

<p>The happiness index of the country was determined on the basis of their per capita income, democracy, reliability, life expectancy and social support and rescue.</p>

<p>Organizing an function at Lukla Airport on March 17, the airline said it flagged off its first flight for the clean-up campaign and shared information about the quantity of collected waste in various collection centers in the Everest region along with a time-bound plan to airlift them. Around 5,000 kg of waste was airlifted in the same day, according to the company.</p>

<p>Yeti Airlines-Tara Air have set an ambitious target of flying out 100 tons of waste from the Everest region in the year 2018 as part of its commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the UN, particularly relating to responsible consumption and production (SDG 12), climate change (SDG13), biodiversity consumption (SDG 15) and partnership (SDG 17).</p>

<p>While the Sagarmatha Pollution Control Committee (SPCC), a local environmental conservation organization and the Himalaya Club Lukla, coordinates the collection of wastes in the Everest region, Blue Waste to Value, a recycling firm in Kathmandu recycles the wastes, as part of its agreement with SPCC. The wastes comprise of mostly empty beer bottles and cans, empty food tins, and discarded mountaineering and trekking equipment.</p>

			'content' => '<p>March 18: Sustainable Development Network, an associate agency of United Nations, has recently released its research report about the world happiness index for 2017. The agency has published the report to mark the World Happiness Day which is celebrated on March 20 every year.</p>

<p>According to the report published by Sustainable Development Forum Network, Nepal is ranked 101 for its happiness index. The Himalayan nation has slipped two positions down in comparison to the reports from 2016 when it was ranked 99.</p>

<p>Happiness Index of Nepal has fallen to 4.88 in 2017 which was 4.962 in 2016. With this, Nepal still remains third in SAARC, states the report. Nepal is third happiest country in SAARC after Pakistan and Bhutan. Pakistan is ranked first followed by Bhutan second in SAARC and 75 and 97 globally. Bulgaria with a total happiness index of 4.933 lies above Nepal at 100<sup>th</sup> position and Venezuela with 4.806 index is below Nepal raked 102<sup>nd</sup>.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, Bangladesh is ranked fourth followed by Sri Lanka at 5<sup>th</sup> while India stands at 6<sup>th</sup> position with only 4.190 indexes. Afghanistan and the Maldives are excluded in the report. Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and India are ranked 115, 116 and 133 globally, which means Indians are the least happy citizens in SAARC nations excluding Afghanistan and the Maldives.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The report states, Finland to be the world&#39;s happiest country which was at 5<sup>th</sup> position previously. Norway, the happiest country for 2016, has slipped down to second position this time. Norway is followed by Denmark, Iceland, Switzerland, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Sweden and Australia respectively.</p>

<p>As per the report, Finland the happiest country holds an index of 7.632 while Burundi has the lowest happiness index and has been ranked as the least happy country. Burundi was at second last position last year.</p>

<p>The agency has listed 157 countries in its report where war ravaged South Sudan, Tanzania, Yemen, Rwanda, Syria, Liberia, Haiti, Malawi and Botswana are amongst the least happy countries.</p>

<p>The happiness index of the country was determined on the basis of their per capita income, democracy, reliability, life expectancy and social support and rescue.</p>
