<p>Most of the tourists visiting Nepal are from India followed by China. Dipak Raj Joshi, executive director at Nepal Tourism Board, &nbsp;said that it was historic indeed that Nepal was able to bring in one million tourists in the 11 months of this year.</p>

<p>Besides India and China, the USA and the UK top the list of countries contributing tourists to Nepal.</p>

<p>The board&rsquo;s Executive Director Raju Raman Poudel said the policy was prepared to insure farmers from the high risk in tea farming. According to him, the policy will be circulated to the insurance companies within this week after which the farmers can access the service for tea farming from any non-life insurance company.</p>

<p>Considering the vital role played by the agricultural sector in the country&rsquo;s economy, the board had introduced agriculture insurance scheme in 2012<strong>. </strong></p>

<p>Prior to introducing insurance on tea farming, there already was insurance policy for other crops like cauliflower, ginger etc in place. The insurance board aims to provide insurance facility for more than 40 varieties of vegetables.</p>

<p>The policy will cover the loss of tea farming caused by fire, lightening, flood, earthquake, natural disaster, insects and other crop diseases. Likewise, the insurance policy will also cover accidental insurance of the concerned farmers up to Rs 200,000.</p>

<p>The foods items collected from the programme will be handed to Mary Ward School, Jhamsikhel; Mary Ward School, Lubhu; Horac&nbsp; Nepal, Patan; Rotary Club of Pashupati, Kathmandu; Rejina Amiros School, Dhobighat; Navajyoti Center, Baluwatar; Kithsa Nepal, Kathmandu; and NRN Madhu, Kathmandu.</p>

<p>The school said its Social Service Club has been is organizing this type of large scale donation programme every two years.</p>

<p>&nbsp;The children have also been collecting stationary items for the underprivileged children and warm clothes to the needy in the winter season in different parts of Nepal. The Souper Bowl food donation programme was started by the club since the inception of the school with the sole motive to inculcate sharing and caring culture in the community. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>Considering the vital role played by the agricultural sector in the country&rsquo;s economy, the board had introduced agriculture insurance scheme in 2012<strong>. </strong></p>

<p>Prior to introducing insurance on tea farming, there already was insurance policy for other crops like cauliflower, ginger etc in place. The insurance board aims to provide insurance facility for more than 40 varieties of vegetables.</p>

<p>The policy will cover the loss of tea farming caused by fire, lightening, flood, earthquake, natural disaster, insects and other crop diseases. Likewise, the insurance policy will also cover accidental insurance of the concerned farmers up to Rs 200,000.</p>

<p>Considering the vital role played by the agricultural sector in the country&rsquo;s economy, the board had introduced agriculture insurance scheme in 2012<strong>. </strong></p>

<p>Prior to introducing insurance on tea farming, there already was insurance policy for other crops like cauliflower, ginger etc in place. The insurance board aims to provide insurance facility for more than 40 varieties of vegetables.</p>

<p>The policy will cover the loss of tea farming caused by fire, lightening, flood, earthquake, natural disaster, insects and other crop diseases. Likewise, the insurance policy will also cover accidental insurance of the concerned farmers up to Rs 200,000.</p>

<p>Issuing a press statement, eSewa said it has signed an agreement with UPI to launch a QR code-based mobile payment solution in Nepal. According to the agreement, customers of UnionPay in Nepal as well as abroad can make mobile payments using QR codes at various merchant outlets in the country.</p>

<p>Shuan Philip Ghaidan, product director of UnionPay International (UPI) and Biswas Dhakal, chairman and president of F1Soft, the parent company of eSewa Fonepay, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations amid a function held in the capital on December 11.</p>

<p>According to the statement, QR payment is a frictionless mobile payment method which is an alternative to costly electronic fund transfers such as card payments at point of sale using payment terminals.</p>

The factory which was reeling under loss for a long time began earning profit since four years back, according to RSS. In the fiscal year 2074/75, the factory made a profit of Rs 235 million, while the profit stood at Rs 220 million the previous year.&nbsp;<br />
General manager of Hetauda Cement Factory, Prem Shankar Singh, shared that the factory expects to make profit more than Rs 350 million in the current fiscal year.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The board&rsquo;s Executive Director Raju Raman Poudel said the policy was prepared to insure farmers from the high risk in tea farming. According to him, the policy will be circulated to the insurance companies within this week after which the farmers can access the service for tea farming from any non-life insurance company.</p>

<p>Considering the vital role played by the agricultural sector in the country&rsquo;s economy, the board had introduced agriculture insurance scheme in 2012<strong>. </strong></p>

<p>Prior to introducing insurance on tea farming, there already was insurance policy for other crops like cauliflower, ginger etc in place. The insurance board aims to provide insurance facility for more than 40 varieties of vegetables.</p>

<p>The policy will cover the loss of tea farming caused by fire, lightening, flood, earthquake, natural disaster, insects and other crop diseases. Likewise, the insurance policy will also cover accidental insurance of the concerned farmers up to Rs 200,000.</p>
