			'content' => '<p style="text-align: justify;">November 16: Nepal has been ranked 7th in a study &#39;Mapping Fragile and Conflict-Affected Situations (FCAS) in Asia and the Pacific &ndash; The ADB Experience&#39; conducted by Asian Development Bank (ADB). The report published by the bank on November 15 reviewed the country performance assessments of 12 developing member countries affected by fragility and conflict.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The study conducted on FCAS hit countries of Asia and the Pacific has ranked Afghanistan at top position followed by Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Myanmar, Nauru, Nepal, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Timor-Leste, Tuvalu, and Vanuatu. According to the report, all of these countries have achieved few gains on economic management, structural policies, social inclusion/equity and public sector management between 2006 and 2015.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The ADB report has characterized the FCAS countries by political instability, weak governance and institutional capacity, economic and social insecurity and greater vulnerability to the effects of climate change. They confront complex and multi-faceted issues, and prioritizing development interventions is often challenging.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The report notes that while in some FCAS countries, investments by governments and development partners in transportation, energy, education, health, private sector development and other areas may have reaped some benefits, much more must be done to ensure sustainability.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">A new approach to FCAS countries, the study suggests, should focus on better knowledge and understanding of the political economy context of each sector when designing development programs and projects, including a careful analysis of governance, institutional, political and social issues.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Appreciating the role of development partners in these FCAS countries, the bank said that the development partners need to improve their approach to promote sustainable development in countries that have FCAS through critical analysis of economic, structural, social, political, and institutional issues in each country and by customizing interventions based on the local context.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">&ldquo;Every fragile situation calls for a unique response. If the right policies&mdash;customized to the local context&mdash;are not in place and core institutions are not strong enough to absorb the resources provided by development partners, the vicious cycle of fragility, conflict, and poverty will continue,&rdquo; said Stephen Groff, ADB Vice President for East Asia, Southeast Asia and the Pacific. &ldquo;Sound structural policies can lead to more effective and efficient governance, while social inclusion and equity are the foundation for political stability and socio-economic growth.&rdquo;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The study recommends that development partners and governments should include some key areas in their priority list for assistance. They involve mainstreaming gender equality at the local level, strengthening accountability mechanisms for public resource use, increasing investment on health and education, capacity building for environmental institutions, developing an innovative policy framework on land use, and improving regulatory frameworks for trade, finance and business.</p>

Even after one and half years of the devastating earthquake, the insurance claims for the destroyed physical infrastructure and properties have not been completely settled. The statistics of Insurance Board shows that 74.82 percent of the total claims submitted at general insurance companies have been settled so far.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify"><br />
However, considering the number of claims, the total payment stands at 93 percent of the total claims. 16,549 out of 17,848 claims made demanding compensation have been sorted out. It is evident through the report submitted by 15 general insurance companies except NB insurance to the board.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify"><br />
As per the statistics of the board, the companies has paid Rs 12.41 billion out of Rs 16.55 billion claim amount &nbsp;to their insured. It also shows that 7.04 percent claims and 25.18 percent amount are still waiting to be settled. &nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align:justify"><br />
According to Dhruba Timilsina, Deputy Director of the board, among the total paid claim amount, Rs 6.31 billion has been received through re-insurance. He also said that settlement of 75 percent claims in the 19 months of period is satisfactory. &quot;It is normal for some delays if the damages of insured properties and infrastructures, field reports and insurance companies do not match during the process of claim payment.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify"><br />
The board informed that the insurance companies have made payment on various headings including fire, vehicle, marine, engineering and miscellaneous. &nbsp;The highest amount of insurance claim has been paid under fire insurance coverage which was Rs 8.11 billion. Similarly, Rs 173.7 million has been paid under vehicle insurance claims followed by engineering claims of Rs 659 million. Likewise, Rs 3.46 billion has been paid under miscellaneous heading. During the period, the lowest claim amount is paid under marine insurance of Rs 400,000.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Although insurance companies have paid insurance claim amount to the majority of policy holders, big and complicated insurance claims are still waiting to be settled. A survey shows nearly 1,000 claims submitted at insurance companies are big, controversial and complicated. These big companies include apartments, shopping malls and hydropower companies. &ldquo;The big companies&rsquo; claim are bit complicated, thus will be settled after some times,&rdquo; said Timilsina. Among the total claims received by the insurance companies, Himalayan General Insurance Company received the highest amount of the claims of Rs 4.99 billion whereas Rastriya Beema Sanstha received the insurance claim of the least amount. Rastriya Beema Sanstha received a total number of 266 claims for Rs 128.3 million.&nbsp;<br />

<p style="text-align: justify;">&ldquo;The added responsibility of charging home and land tax along with design approval tax has contributed in the increased internal income of KMC,&rdquo; Kafle said. Previously, these taxes were charged by Department of Building Construction Permit. &nbsp;&nbsp;As per him, KMC was assigned the responsibility of charging the taxes from the current FY.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Similarly, the KMC has also started to collect home and land due tax and waiver as well as land tax which also helped to boost its income. Increase in design approval charges is yet another reason for its growing income. According to KMC, it has provided 75 and 25 percent tax waiver to the houses which were totally and partially damaged by last year&rsquo;s earthquake.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

In this regard, it has become the first hydropower project to get license from the department after amendment of the previous licensing mechanism. The amended regulation has authorised the department of providing license to the projects under 100MW.</p>

However, the BFIs are not showing any interest on displacement of magnetic strip card even after cross the given deadline. NRB had provided one year period to the BFIs to displace the magnetic stripe card within mid-October 2015. &nbsp;</p>

NRB believes that the use of chip based card will help of control the duplication and fraud caused by magnetic stripe card. However, the bank mentioned that implementation of chip based card immediately is not possible.&nbsp;</p>

Issuing a press statement on November 13, the federation expressed its concern to the problem faced by traders and general public regarding exchange of banned Indian notes. The federation said that people are struggling to exchange the abolished banknotes leaving their day to day activities. Recently, the Indian Government banned INR 500 and INR 1000 notes that has caused confusion among Nepalis who have hold of these abolished notes. &nbsp;Nepali traders along with general public have hold of billions worth of these abolished banknotes which are now facing exchange problem.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Nepalis residing in border areas cross the border for various reasons including employment, trade and medical purposes. Thus, they keep holdings of Indian currency. However, the decision made by Indian government has caused problems among Nepalis and Nepali traders regarding exchange of these currencies.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">According to federation, many people might lose their whole property if the notes are not exchanged. For this, the federation has urged Nepal Rastra bank and the government to initiate diplomatic talks with Indian government for the exchange of the abolished banknotes held by general public of Nepal. &ldquo;We request to end this confusion faced by Nepali people in time&rdquo;, reads the statement.&nbsp;</p>

			'content' => '<p style="text-align: justify;">November 16: Nepal has been ranked 7th in a study &#39;Mapping Fragile and Conflict-Affected Situations (FCAS) in Asia and the Pacific &ndash; The ADB Experience&#39; conducted by Asian Development Bank (ADB). The report published by the bank on November 15 reviewed the country performance assessments of 12 developing member countries affected by fragility and conflict.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The study conducted on FCAS hit countries of Asia and the Pacific has ranked Afghanistan at top position followed by Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Myanmar, Nauru, Nepal, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Timor-Leste, Tuvalu, and Vanuatu. According to the report, all of these countries have achieved few gains on economic management, structural policies, social inclusion/equity and public sector management between 2006 and 2015.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The ADB report has characterized the FCAS countries by political instability, weak governance and institutional capacity, economic and social insecurity and greater vulnerability to the effects of climate change. They confront complex and multi-faceted issues, and prioritizing development interventions is often challenging.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The report notes that while in some FCAS countries, investments by governments and development partners in transportation, energy, education, health, private sector development and other areas may have reaped some benefits, much more must be done to ensure sustainability.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">A new approach to FCAS countries, the study suggests, should focus on better knowledge and understanding of the political economy context of each sector when designing development programs and projects, including a careful analysis of governance, institutional, political and social issues.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Appreciating the role of development partners in these FCAS countries, the bank said that the development partners need to improve their approach to promote sustainable development in countries that have FCAS through critical analysis of economic, structural, social, political, and institutional issues in each country and by customizing interventions based on the local context.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">&ldquo;Every fragile situation calls for a unique response. If the right policies&mdash;customized to the local context&mdash;are not in place and core institutions are not strong enough to absorb the resources provided by development partners, the vicious cycle of fragility, conflict, and poverty will continue,&rdquo; said Stephen Groff, ADB Vice President for East Asia, Southeast Asia and the Pacific. &ldquo;Sound structural policies can lead to more effective and efficient governance, while social inclusion and equity are the foundation for political stability and socio-economic growth.&rdquo;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The study recommends that development partners and governments should include some key areas in their priority list for assistance. They involve mainstreaming gender equality at the local level, strengthening accountability mechanisms for public resource use, increasing investment on health and education, capacity building for environmental institutions, developing an innovative policy framework on land use, and improving regulatory frameworks for trade, finance and business.</p>

As per the statistics of the board, the companies has paid Rs 12.41 billion out of Rs 16.55 billion claim amount &nbsp;to their insured. It also shows that 7.04 percent claims and 25.18 percent amount are still waiting to be settled. &nbsp;</p>

According to Dhruba Timilsina, Deputy Director of the board, among the total paid claim amount, Rs 6.31 billion has been received through re-insurance. He also said that settlement of 75 percent claims in the 19 months of period is satisfactory. &quot;It is normal for some delays if the damages of insured properties and infrastructures, field reports and insurance companies do not match during the process of claim payment.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify"><br />
The board informed that the insurance companies have made payment on various headings including fire, vehicle, marine, engineering and miscellaneous. &nbsp;The highest amount of insurance claim has been paid under fire insurance coverage which was Rs 8.11 billion. Similarly, Rs 173.7 million has been paid under vehicle insurance claims followed by engineering claims of Rs 659 million. Likewise, Rs 3.46 billion has been paid under miscellaneous heading. During the period, the lowest claim amount is paid under marine insurance of Rs 400,000.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Although insurance companies have paid insurance claim amount to the majority of policy holders, big and complicated insurance claims are still waiting to be settled. A survey shows nearly 1,000 claims submitted at insurance companies are big, controversial and complicated. These big companies include apartments, shopping malls and hydropower companies. &ldquo;The big companies&rsquo; claim are bit complicated, thus will be settled after some times,&rdquo; said Timilsina. Among the total claims received by the insurance companies, Himalayan General Insurance Company received the highest amount of the claims of Rs 4.99 billion whereas Rastriya Beema Sanstha received the insurance claim of the least amount. Rastriya Beema Sanstha received a total number of 266 claims for Rs 128.3 million.&nbsp;<br />

			'content' => '<p style="text-align: justify;">November 16: Nepal has been ranked 7th in a study &#39;Mapping Fragile and Conflict-Affected Situations (FCAS) in Asia and the Pacific &ndash; The ADB Experience&#39; conducted by Asian Development Bank (ADB). The report published by the bank on November 15 reviewed the country performance assessments of 12 developing member countries affected by fragility and conflict.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The study conducted on FCAS hit countries of Asia and the Pacific has ranked Afghanistan at top position followed by Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Myanmar, Nauru, Nepal, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Timor-Leste, Tuvalu, and Vanuatu. According to the report, all of these countries have achieved few gains on economic management, structural policies, social inclusion/equity and public sector management between 2006 and 2015.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The ADB report has characterized the FCAS countries by political instability, weak governance and institutional capacity, economic and social insecurity and greater vulnerability to the effects of climate change. They confront complex and multi-faceted issues, and prioritizing development interventions is often challenging.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The report notes that while in some FCAS countries, investments by governments and development partners in transportation, energy, education, health, private sector development and other areas may have reaped some benefits, much more must be done to ensure sustainability.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">A new approach to FCAS countries, the study suggests, should focus on better knowledge and understanding of the political economy context of each sector when designing development programs and projects, including a careful analysis of governance, institutional, political and social issues.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Appreciating the role of development partners in these FCAS countries, the bank said that the development partners need to improve their approach to promote sustainable development in countries that have FCAS through critical analysis of economic, structural, social, political, and institutional issues in each country and by customizing interventions based on the local context.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">&ldquo;Every fragile situation calls for a unique response. If the right policies&mdash;customized to the local context&mdash;are not in place and core institutions are not strong enough to absorb the resources provided by development partners, the vicious cycle of fragility, conflict, and poverty will continue,&rdquo; said Stephen Groff, ADB Vice President for East Asia, Southeast Asia and the Pacific. &ldquo;Sound structural policies can lead to more effective and efficient governance, while social inclusion and equity are the foundation for political stability and socio-economic growth.&rdquo;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The study recommends that development partners and governments should include some key areas in their priority list for assistance. They involve mainstreaming gender equality at the local level, strengthening accountability mechanisms for public resource use, increasing investment on health and education, capacity building for environmental institutions, developing an innovative policy framework on land use, and improving regulatory frameworks for trade, finance and business.</p>

The statistics of Insurance Board shows that 74.82 percent of the total claims submitted at general insurance companies have been settled so far.</p>

However, considering the number of claims, the total payment stands at 93 percent of the total claims. 16,549 out of 17,848 claims made demanding compensation have been sorted out. It is evident through the report submitted by 15 general insurance companies except NB insurance to the board.</p>

As per the statistics of the board, the companies has paid Rs 12.41 billion out of Rs 16.55 billion claim amount &nbsp;to their insured. It also shows that 7.04 percent claims and 25.18 percent amount are still waiting to be settled. &nbsp;</p>

According to Dhruba Timilsina, Deputy Director of the board, among the total paid claim amount, Rs 6.31 billion has been received through re-insurance. He also said that settlement of 75 percent claims in the 19 months of period is satisfactory. &quot;It is normal for some delays if the damages of insured properties and infrastructures, field reports and insurance companies do not match during the process of claim payment.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify"><br />
The board informed that the insurance companies have made payment on various headings including fire, vehicle, marine, engineering and miscellaneous. &nbsp;The highest amount of insurance claim has been paid under fire insurance coverage which was Rs 8.11 billion. Similarly, Rs 173.7 million has been paid under vehicle insurance claims followed by engineering claims of Rs 659 million. Likewise, Rs 3.46 billion has been paid under miscellaneous heading. During the period, the lowest claim amount is paid under marine insurance of Rs 400,000.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Although insurance companies have paid insurance claim amount to the majority of policy holders, big and complicated insurance claims are still waiting to be settled. A survey shows nearly 1,000 claims submitted at insurance companies are big, controversial and complicated. These big companies include apartments, shopping malls and hydropower companies. &ldquo;The big companies&rsquo; claim are bit complicated, thus will be settled after some times,&rdquo; said Timilsina. Among the total claims received by the insurance companies, Himalayan General Insurance Company received the highest amount of the claims of Rs 4.99 billion whereas Rastriya Beema Sanstha received the insurance claim of the least amount. Rastriya Beema Sanstha received a total number of 266 claims for Rs 128.3 million.&nbsp;<br />

According to KMC, it has provided 75 and 25 percent tax waiver to the houses which were totally and partially damaged by last year&rsquo;s earthquake.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

NRB believes that the use of chip based card will help of control the duplication and fraud caused by magnetic stripe card. However, the bank mentioned that implementation of chip based card immediately is not possible.&nbsp;</p>

Recently, the Indian Government banned INR 500 and INR 1000 notes that has caused confusion among Nepalis who have hold of these abolished notes. &nbsp;Nepali traders along with general public have hold of billions worth of these abolished banknotes which are now facing exchange problem.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Nepalis residing in border areas cross the border for various reasons including employment, trade and medical purposes. Thus, they keep holdings of Indian currency. However, the decision made by Indian government has caused problems among Nepalis and Nepali traders regarding exchange of these currencies.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">According to federation, many people might lose their whole property if the notes are not exchanged. For this, the federation has urged Nepal Rastra bank and the government to initiate diplomatic talks with Indian government for the exchange of the abolished banknotes held by general public of Nepal. &ldquo;We request to end this confusion faced by Nepali people in time&rdquo;, reads the statement.&nbsp;</p>

			'content' => '<p style="text-align: justify;">November 16: Nepal has been ranked 7th in a study &#39;Mapping Fragile and Conflict-Affected Situations (FCAS) in Asia and the Pacific &ndash; The ADB Experience&#39; conducted by Asian Development Bank (ADB). The report published by the bank on November 15 reviewed the country performance assessments of 12 developing member countries affected by fragility and conflict.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The study conducted on FCAS hit countries of Asia and the Pacific has ranked Afghanistan at top position followed by Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Myanmar, Nauru, Nepal, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Timor-Leste, Tuvalu, and Vanuatu. According to the report, all of these countries have achieved few gains on economic management, structural policies, social inclusion/equity and public sector management between 2006 and 2015.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The ADB report has characterized the FCAS countries by political instability, weak governance and institutional capacity, economic and social insecurity and greater vulnerability to the effects of climate change. They confront complex and multi-faceted issues, and prioritizing development interventions is often challenging.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The report notes that while in some FCAS countries, investments by governments and development partners in transportation, energy, education, health, private sector development and other areas may have reaped some benefits, much more must be done to ensure sustainability.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">A new approach to FCAS countries, the study suggests, should focus on better knowledge and understanding of the political economy context of each sector when designing development programs and projects, including a careful analysis of governance, institutional, political and social issues.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Appreciating the role of development partners in these FCAS countries, the bank said that the development partners need to improve their approach to promote sustainable development in countries that have FCAS through critical analysis of economic, structural, social, political, and institutional issues in each country and by customizing interventions based on the local context.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">&ldquo;Every fragile situation calls for a unique response. If the right policies&mdash;customized to the local context&mdash;are not in place and core institutions are not strong enough to absorb the resources provided by development partners, the vicious cycle of fragility, conflict, and poverty will continue,&rdquo; said Stephen Groff, ADB Vice President for East Asia, Southeast Asia and the Pacific. &ldquo;Sound structural policies can lead to more effective and efficient governance, while social inclusion and equity are the foundation for political stability and socio-economic growth.&rdquo;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The study recommends that development partners and governments should include some key areas in their priority list for assistance. They involve mainstreaming gender equality at the local level, strengthening accountability mechanisms for public resource use, increasing investment on health and education, capacity building for environmental institutions, developing an innovative policy framework on land use, and improving regulatory frameworks for trade, finance and business.</p>

Even after one and half years of the devastating earthquake, the insurance claims for the destroyed physical infrastructure and properties have not been completely settled. The statistics of Insurance Board shows that 74.82 percent of the total claims submitted at general insurance companies have been settled so far.</p>

However, considering the number of claims, the total payment stands at 93 percent of the total claims. 16,549 out of 17,848 claims made demanding compensation have been sorted out. It is evident through the report submitted by 15 general insurance companies except NB insurance to the board.</p>

As per the statistics of the board, the companies has paid Rs 12.41 billion out of Rs 16.55 billion claim amount &nbsp;to their insured. It also shows that 7.04 percent claims and 25.18 percent amount are still waiting to be settled. &nbsp;</p>

According to Dhruba Timilsina, Deputy Director of the board, among the total paid claim amount, Rs 6.31 billion has been received through re-insurance. He also said that settlement of 75 percent claims in the 19 months of period is satisfactory. &quot;It is normal for some delays if the damages of insured properties and infrastructures, field reports and insurance companies do not match during the process of claim payment.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify"><br />
The board informed that the insurance companies have made payment on various headings including fire, vehicle, marine, engineering and miscellaneous. &nbsp;The highest amount of insurance claim has been paid under fire insurance coverage which was Rs 8.11 billion. Similarly, Rs 173.7 million has been paid under vehicle insurance claims followed by engineering claims of Rs 659 million. Likewise, Rs 3.46 billion has been paid under miscellaneous heading. During the period, the lowest claim amount is paid under marine insurance of Rs 400,000.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Although insurance companies have paid insurance claim amount to the majority of policy holders, big and complicated insurance claims are still waiting to be settled. A survey shows nearly 1,000 claims submitted at insurance companies are big, controversial and complicated. These big companies include apartments, shopping malls and hydropower companies. &ldquo;The big companies&rsquo; claim are bit complicated, thus will be settled after some times,&rdquo; said Timilsina. Among the total claims received by the insurance companies, Himalayan General Insurance Company received the highest amount of the claims of Rs 4.99 billion whereas Rastriya Beema Sanstha received the insurance claim of the least amount. Rastriya Beema Sanstha received a total number of 266 claims for Rs 128.3 million.&nbsp;<br />

<p style="text-align: justify;">Similarly, the KMC has also started to collect home and land due tax and waiver as well as land tax which also helped to boost its income. Increase in design approval charges is yet another reason for its growing income. According to KMC, it has provided 75 and 25 percent tax waiver to the houses which were totally and partially damaged by last year&rsquo;s earthquake.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The essential documents and procedure of providing detail presentation is same. However, the licensing procedure has significantly shortened,&quot; she added. Siddhakali Power is developing 75MW Trisuli Galchi hydropower project. The project obtained the license on October 17 from the department. In this regard, it has become the first hydropower project to get license from the department after amendment of the previous licensing mechanism. The amended regulation has authorised the department of providing license to the projects under 100MW.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">&quot;The department however has not provided any license for project survey,&quot; said Babu Raj Adhikari, Senior Divisional Engineer of the department. &quot;The department might provide licenses to 4/5 projects under 25MW capacity and to 1/2 projects above 50 MW within a week.&quot;</p>

However, the BFIs are not showing any interest on displacement of magnetic strip card even after cross the given deadline. NRB had provided one year period to the BFIs to displace the magnetic stripe card within mid-October 2015. &nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align:justify"><br />
NRB believes that the use of chip based card will help of control the duplication and fraud caused by magnetic stripe card. However, the bank mentioned that implementation of chip based card immediately is not possible.&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align:justify"><br />
Meanwhile, Upendra Paudyal, President of Nepal Bankers Association points out that magnetic stripe card is not only the reason for the cause of ATM frauds. As per him, the confidential information is theft from ATM booth so additional supervision is necessary. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;<br />

Issuing a press statement on November 13, the federation expressed its concern to the problem faced by traders and general public regarding exchange of banned Indian notes. The federation said that people are struggling to exchange the abolished banknotes leaving their day to day activities. Recently, the Indian Government banned INR 500 and INR 1000 notes that has caused confusion among Nepalis who have hold of these abolished notes. &nbsp;Nepali traders along with general public have hold of billions worth of these abolished banknotes which are now facing exchange problem.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Nepalis residing in border areas cross the border for various reasons including employment, trade and medical purposes. Thus, they keep holdings of Indian currency. However, the decision made by Indian government has caused problems among Nepalis and Nepali traders regarding exchange of these currencies.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">According to federation, many people might lose their whole property if the notes are not exchanged. For this, the federation has urged Nepal Rastra bank and the government to initiate diplomatic talks with Indian government for the exchange of the abolished banknotes held by general public of Nepal. &ldquo;We request to end this confusion faced by Nepali people in time&rdquo;, reads the statement.&nbsp;</p>
