			'content' => '<p>July 3: Ncell customers can now enjoy a fun filled &lsquo;Magic Voice&rsquo; service, which allows them to change their voice or background sounds while speaking to their friends or family members over the mobile phone.</p>

<p>Once customers subscribe the service, they will be able to make calls in a changed voice of cartoon characters and women, among others and can even set background sound of traffic jam, airport, football stadium and birthday tune during call time, reads a press statement issued by Ncell.</p>

<p>The service is IVR based so customers using any kind of handsets can avail it.</p>

<p>According to the statement, the service has come in to effect from Monday (July 3).&nbsp; Customers can subscribe daily or weekly magic voice service in one-time or auto-renewal mode. It costs Rs 2 including taxes for daily Magic Voice service subscription, while weekly service charge is NPR 10 including taxes.</p>

<p>Customers can subscribe the service by dialing *17135# or 17135 for free and following instruction accordingly. They can also subscribe the service through SMS.&nbsp; To subscribe daily one-time service, customers have to type MV1, MV for daily recurring, 7MV1 for weekly one-time and 7MV for weekly recurring and send it to 17135 for the service activation.</p>

<p>After subscription, customers can dial 17135 followed by mobile number to which they wish to make call and choose any voice by pressing 1,2 or 3 and background sound by pressing 4,5, 6 or 7 from the dial pad menu. During the call, customers can press 0 to go back to the original voice.</p>

<p>&ldquo;We are happy to bring this interesting service, which adds value and contributes to enhance customer experience. To add more fun, we will continue to add different voices and background music on a monthly basis,&rdquo; said Milan Sharma, corporate communications expert of Ncell.</p>

<p>The Magic Voice call service is applicable only within the Ncell network.</p>

<p>Customers can unsubscribe the service by typing Unsub MV and sending it to 17135.</p>

Six days later, the central bank sold five-year development bonds worth Rs 7 billion. The government had issued the bonds through the Nepal Rastra Bank to collect internal loan. The demand of the applicants seeking to purchase the five-year bond was three times more than the bond amount. Despite such a great interest to procure the bonds, the participation of people in the process has surprisingly nil. &nbsp;</p>

<p>Similarly, the demand for the bond issued on June 21 was double than the amount announced by the NRB. But the participation of the public in procuring the bonds was almost zero in this case as well, according to data maintained by the Public Loan Management Department of the NRB.</p>

<p>The department&rsquo;s acting chief Neelam Timsina informed that there applications worth Rs 15.86 billion for the Rs 6 billion bonds.</p>

<p>Although the general public is eligible to purchase bonds, their participation has significantly been reduced as the bond market has been limited only to banks and financial institutions.</p>

<p>Although the interest rate of bonds issued by the government is less, there is zero percent risk in such bonds and therefore the BFIs are more interested in them, according to Timsina.</p>

<p>The interest of people to buy the bonds allocated for the general public is also not so encouraging.</p>

<p>&ldquo;This means either the people do not have enough purchasing power or they are unaware about the topic,&rdquo; says one economist.</p>

<p>&ldquo;Since the banks agree for low interest rate in the bidding process, the people might have not shown their willingness to buy such bonds,&rdquo; says Timsina, adding, &ldquo;Maybe, the people are not interested in buying long-term bonds.&rdquo;</p>

<p>The government has issued development bonds for eight times in the current fiscal year 2016/17. NRB data shows that such bonds were issued only five times in the last fiscal year.</p>

<p>He added that the BFIs charge high interest rates and at times the loan for investment is lacking. &ldquo;The government should solve these problems as far as possible,&rdquo; he said.</p>

<p>&nbsp;In the meeting, the business persons also demanded to rethink about the warehouse charges at airport which has been increased unnecessarily.</p>

<p>After hearing the grievances of the business persons, Minister Karki said that the ministry will study the suggestion and implement them soon.</p>

<p>The business persons who reached Singha Durbar to meet the minister demanded income tax waiver for five years to industries that export goods.</p>

<p>Similarly, they also demanded cash grant from customs points.</p>

<p>Likewise, NCC President Shrestha said there should be one window policy on collecting revenue and the unspent capital expenditure should be used for commercial development as re-loan.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Although Nepal has been a major destination for Indian tourists, they have grievances of not having direct transportation between various cities of the two countries.</p>

<p>Sharma said Indian tourists should have better access to comfortable tourist bus services from the border areas to various destinations in Nepal.</p>

<p>&ldquo;The number of Indian tourists could rise if there are direct flights from Patna to Pokhara,&rdquo; he added. &nbsp;</p>

<p>Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation&rsquo;s Public Relations Officer Jagendra Singh suggested that Nepali tourism could leapfrog if there is political stability in Nepal.</p>

<p>Western Regional Hotel Association&rsquo;s President Bikal Tulachan invited Indian tourists to Pokhara as it is a suitable destination for Indian tourists to avoid the summer heat.</p>

<p>The association has been launching &lsquo;Chaliye Pokhara&rsquo; campaign in various cities of India in coordination with Nepal Tourism Board.</p>

<p>Speaking at the interaction programme, Tourism Board Pokhara&rsquo;s senior official Surya Thapalia said that more number of Indian tourists can be brought to Pokhara because it is just a day&rsquo;s drive from the Nepal-India border.</p>

<p>Indian Tourist Bureau, Bihar&rsquo;s Director Amitabh Mishra said that Nepal was a suitable destination for Indians for a family trip.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Once customers subscribe the service, they will be able to make calls in a changed voice of cartoon characters and women, among others and can even set background sound of traffic jam, airport, football stadium and birthday tune during call time, reads a press statement issued by Ncell.</p>

<p>The service is IVR based so customers using any kind of handsets can avail it.</p>

<p>According to the statement, the service has come in to effect from Monday (July 3).&nbsp; Customers can subscribe daily or weekly magic voice service in one-time or auto-renewal mode. It costs Rs 2 including taxes for daily Magic Voice service subscription, while weekly service charge is NPR 10 including taxes.</p>

<p>Customers can subscribe the service by dialing *17135# or 17135 for free and following instruction accordingly. They can also subscribe the service through SMS.&nbsp; To subscribe daily one-time service, customers have to type MV1, MV for daily recurring, 7MV1 for weekly one-time and 7MV for weekly recurring and send it to 17135 for the service activation.</p>

<p>After subscription, customers can dial 17135 followed by mobile number to which they wish to make call and choose any voice by pressing 1,2 or 3 and background sound by pressing 4,5, 6 or 7 from the dial pad menu. During the call, customers can press 0 to go back to the original voice.</p>

<p>&ldquo;We are happy to bring this interesting service, which adds value and contributes to enhance customer experience. To add more fun, we will continue to add different voices and background music on a monthly basis,&rdquo; said Milan Sharma, corporate communications expert of Ncell.</p>

<p>The Magic Voice call service is applicable only within the Ncell network.</p>

<p>Customers can unsubscribe the service by typing Unsub MV and sending it to 17135.</p>

Six days later, the central bank sold five-year development bonds worth Rs 7 billion. The government had issued the bonds through the Nepal Rastra Bank to collect internal loan. The demand of the applicants seeking to purchase the five-year bond was three times more than the bond amount. Despite such a great interest to procure the bonds, the participation of people in the process has surprisingly nil. &nbsp;</p>

<p>Similarly, the demand for the bond issued on June 21 was double than the amount announced by the NRB. But the participation of the public in procuring the bonds was almost zero in this case as well, according to data maintained by the Public Loan Management Department of the NRB.</p>

<p>The department&rsquo;s acting chief Neelam Timsina informed that there applications worth Rs 15.86 billion for the Rs 6 billion bonds.</p>

<p>Although the general public is eligible to purchase bonds, their participation has significantly been reduced as the bond market has been limited only to banks and financial institutions.</p>

<p>Although the interest rate of bonds issued by the government is less, there is zero percent risk in such bonds and therefore the BFIs are more interested in them, according to Timsina.</p>

<p>The interest of people to buy the bonds allocated for the general public is also not so encouraging.</p>

<p>&ldquo;This means either the people do not have enough purchasing power or they are unaware about the topic,&rdquo; says one economist.</p>

<p>&ldquo;Since the banks agree for low interest rate in the bidding process, the people might have not shown their willingness to buy such bonds,&rdquo; says Timsina, adding, &ldquo;Maybe, the people are not interested in buying long-term bonds.&rdquo;</p>

<p>The government has issued development bonds for eight times in the current fiscal year 2016/17. NRB data shows that such bonds were issued only five times in the last fiscal year.</p>

<p>&nbsp;In the meeting, the business persons also demanded to rethink about the warehouse charges at airport which has been increased unnecessarily.</p>

<p>After hearing the grievances of the business persons, Minister Karki said that the ministry will study the suggestion and implement them soon.</p>

<p>The business persons who reached Singha Durbar to meet the minister demanded income tax waiver for five years to industries that export goods.</p>

<p>Similarly, they also demanded cash grant from customs points.</p>

<p>Likewise, NCC President Shrestha said there should be one window policy on collecting revenue and the unspent capital expenditure should be used for commercial development as re-loan.&nbsp;</p>

<p>&ldquo;Indian tourists prefer to go to Nepal for religious tours as well as for sight-seeing,&rdquo; said Indian tourism expert Sanjay Sharma during an interaction with Nepali tourism entrepreneurs who had visited Bihar&rsquo;s capital Patna with the slogan &lsquo;Chaliye Pokhara&rsquo; to promote tourism in Nepal.</p>

<p>&ldquo;Pokhara, Kathmandu and Chitwan among other cities have become favorite destinations for Indian tourists,&rdquo; said Sharma.</p>

<p>Indian tourism entrepreneurs also said that Nepal has become a major attraction for Indian tourists because of the close proximity. They suggested their Nepali counterpart during the interaction programme that Nepal needs to develop infrastructure to attract more number of Indian tourists.</p>

<p>Although Nepal has been a major destination for Indian tourists, they have grievances of not having direct transportation between various cities of the two countries.</p>

<p>Sharma said Indian tourists should have better access to comfortable tourist bus services from the border areas to various destinations in Nepal.</p>

<p>&ldquo;The number of Indian tourists could rise if there are direct flights from Patna to Pokhara,&rdquo; he added. &nbsp;</p>

<p>Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation&rsquo;s Public Relations Officer Jagendra Singh suggested that Nepali tourism could leapfrog if there is political stability in Nepal.</p>

<p>Western Regional Hotel Association&rsquo;s President Bikal Tulachan invited Indian tourists to Pokhara as it is a suitable destination for Indian tourists to avoid the summer heat.</p>

<p>The association has been launching &lsquo;Chaliye Pokhara&rsquo; campaign in various cities of India in coordination with Nepal Tourism Board.</p>

<p>Speaking at the interaction programme, Tourism Board Pokhara&rsquo;s senior official Surya Thapalia said that more number of Indian tourists can be brought to Pokhara because it is just a day&rsquo;s drive from the Nepal-India border.</p>

<p>Indian Tourist Bureau, Bihar&rsquo;s Director Amitabh Mishra said that Nepal was a suitable destination for Indians for a family trip.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Once customers subscribe the service, they will be able to make calls in a changed voice of cartoon characters and women, among others and can even set background sound of traffic jam, airport, football stadium and birthday tune during call time, reads a press statement issued by Ncell.</p>

<p>The service is IVR based so customers using any kind of handsets can avail it.</p>

<p>According to the statement, the service has come in to effect from Monday (July 3).&nbsp; Customers can subscribe daily or weekly magic voice service in one-time or auto-renewal mode. It costs Rs 2 including taxes for daily Magic Voice service subscription, while weekly service charge is NPR 10 including taxes.</p>

<p>Customers can subscribe the service by dialing *17135# or 17135 for free and following instruction accordingly. They can also subscribe the service through SMS.&nbsp; To subscribe daily one-time service, customers have to type MV1, MV for daily recurring, 7MV1 for weekly one-time and 7MV for weekly recurring and send it to 17135 for the service activation.</p>

<p>After subscription, customers can dial 17135 followed by mobile number to which they wish to make call and choose any voice by pressing 1,2 or 3 and background sound by pressing 4,5, 6 or 7 from the dial pad menu. During the call, customers can press 0 to go back to the original voice.</p>

<p>&ldquo;We are happy to bring this interesting service, which adds value and contributes to enhance customer experience. To add more fun, we will continue to add different voices and background music on a monthly basis,&rdquo; said Milan Sharma, corporate communications expert of Ncell.</p>

<p>The Magic Voice call service is applicable only within the Ncell network.</p>

<p>Customers can unsubscribe the service by typing Unsub MV and sending it to 17135.</p>

Six days later, the central bank sold five-year development bonds worth Rs 7 billion. The government had issued the bonds through the Nepal Rastra Bank to collect internal loan. The demand of the applicants seeking to purchase the five-year bond was three times more than the bond amount. Despite such a great interest to procure the bonds, the participation of people in the process has surprisingly nil. &nbsp;</p>

<p>Similarly, the demand for the bond issued on June 21 was double than the amount announced by the NRB. But the participation of the public in procuring the bonds was almost zero in this case as well, according to data maintained by the Public Loan Management Department of the NRB.</p>

<p>The department&rsquo;s acting chief Neelam Timsina informed that there applications worth Rs 15.86 billion for the Rs 6 billion bonds.</p>

<p>Although the general public is eligible to purchase bonds, their participation has significantly been reduced as the bond market has been limited only to banks and financial institutions.</p>

<p>Although the interest rate of bonds issued by the government is less, there is zero percent risk in such bonds and therefore the BFIs are more interested in them, according to Timsina.</p>

<p>The interest of people to buy the bonds allocated for the general public is also not so encouraging.</p>

<p>&ldquo;This means either the people do not have enough purchasing power or they are unaware about the topic,&rdquo; says one economist.</p>

<p>&ldquo;Since the banks agree for low interest rate in the bidding process, the people might have not shown their willingness to buy such bonds,&rdquo; says Timsina, adding, &ldquo;Maybe, the people are not interested in buying long-term bonds.&rdquo;</p>

<p>The government has issued development bonds for eight times in the current fiscal year 2016/17. NRB data shows that such bonds were issued only five times in the last fiscal year.</p>

<p>&nbsp;In the meeting, the business persons also demanded to rethink about the warehouse charges at airport which has been increased unnecessarily.</p>

<p>After hearing the grievances of the business persons, Minister Karki said that the ministry will study the suggestion and implement them soon.</p>

<p>The business persons who reached Singha Durbar to meet the minister demanded income tax waiver for five years to industries that export goods.</p>

<p>Similarly, they also demanded cash grant from customs points.</p>

<p>Likewise, NCC President Shrestha said there should be one window policy on collecting revenue and the unspent capital expenditure should be used for commercial development as re-loan.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Although Nepal has been a major destination for Indian tourists, they have grievances of not having direct transportation between various cities of the two countries.</p>

<p>Sharma said Indian tourists should have better access to comfortable tourist bus services from the border areas to various destinations in Nepal.</p>

<p>&ldquo;The number of Indian tourists could rise if there are direct flights from Patna to Pokhara,&rdquo; he added. &nbsp;</p>

<p>Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation&rsquo;s Public Relations Officer Jagendra Singh suggested that Nepali tourism could leapfrog if there is political stability in Nepal.</p>

<p>Western Regional Hotel Association&rsquo;s President Bikal Tulachan invited Indian tourists to Pokhara as it is a suitable destination for Indian tourists to avoid the summer heat.</p>

<p>The association has been launching &lsquo;Chaliye Pokhara&rsquo; campaign in various cities of India in coordination with Nepal Tourism Board.</p>

<p>Speaking at the interaction programme, Tourism Board Pokhara&rsquo;s senior official Surya Thapalia said that more number of Indian tourists can be brought to Pokhara because it is just a day&rsquo;s drive from the Nepal-India border.</p>

<p>Indian Tourist Bureau, Bihar&rsquo;s Director Amitabh Mishra said that Nepal was a suitable destination for Indians for a family trip.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Once customers subscribe the service, they will be able to make calls in a changed voice of cartoon characters and women, among others and can even set background sound of traffic jam, airport, football stadium and birthday tune during call time, reads a press statement issued by Ncell.</p>

<p>The service is IVR based so customers using any kind of handsets can avail it.</p>

<p>According to the statement, the service has come in to effect from Monday (July 3).&nbsp; Customers can subscribe daily or weekly magic voice service in one-time or auto-renewal mode. It costs Rs 2 including taxes for daily Magic Voice service subscription, while weekly service charge is NPR 10 including taxes.</p>

<p>Customers can subscribe the service by dialing *17135# or 17135 for free and following instruction accordingly. They can also subscribe the service through SMS.&nbsp; To subscribe daily one-time service, customers have to type MV1, MV for daily recurring, 7MV1 for weekly one-time and 7MV for weekly recurring and send it to 17135 for the service activation.</p>

<p>After subscription, customers can dial 17135 followed by mobile number to which they wish to make call and choose any voice by pressing 1,2 or 3 and background sound by pressing 4,5, 6 or 7 from the dial pad menu. During the call, customers can press 0 to go back to the original voice.</p>

<p>&ldquo;We are happy to bring this interesting service, which adds value and contributes to enhance customer experience. To add more fun, we will continue to add different voices and background music on a monthly basis,&rdquo; said Milan Sharma, corporate communications expert of Ncell.</p>

<p>The Magic Voice call service is applicable only within the Ncell network.</p>

<p>Customers can unsubscribe the service by typing Unsub MV and sending it to 17135.</p>

Six days later, the central bank sold five-year development bonds worth Rs 7 billion. The government had issued the bonds through the Nepal Rastra Bank to collect internal loan. The demand of the applicants seeking to purchase the five-year bond was three times more than the bond amount. Despite such a great interest to procure the bonds, the participation of people in the process has surprisingly nil. &nbsp;</p>

<p>Similarly, the demand for the bond issued on June 21 was double than the amount announced by the NRB. But the participation of the public in procuring the bonds was almost zero in this case as well, according to data maintained by the Public Loan Management Department of the NRB.</p>

<p>The department&rsquo;s acting chief Neelam Timsina informed that there applications worth Rs 15.86 billion for the Rs 6 billion bonds.</p>

<p>Although the general public is eligible to purchase bonds, their participation has significantly been reduced as the bond market has been limited only to banks and financial institutions.</p>

<p>Although the interest rate of bonds issued by the government is less, there is zero percent risk in such bonds and therefore the BFIs are more interested in them, according to Timsina.</p>

<p>The interest of people to buy the bonds allocated for the general public is also not so encouraging.</p>

<p>&ldquo;This means either the people do not have enough purchasing power or they are unaware about the topic,&rdquo; says one economist.</p>

<p>&ldquo;Since the banks agree for low interest rate in the bidding process, the people might have not shown their willingness to buy such bonds,&rdquo; says Timsina, adding, &ldquo;Maybe, the people are not interested in buying long-term bonds.&rdquo;</p>

<p>The government has issued development bonds for eight times in the current fiscal year 2016/17. NRB data shows that such bonds were issued only five times in the last fiscal year.</p>

<p>He added that the BFIs charge high interest rates and at times the loan for investment is lacking. &ldquo;The government should solve these problems as far as possible,&rdquo; he said.</p>

<p>&nbsp;In the meeting, the business persons also demanded to rethink about the warehouse charges at airport which has been increased unnecessarily.</p>

<p>After hearing the grievances of the business persons, Minister Karki said that the ministry will study the suggestion and implement them soon.</p>

<p>The business persons who reached Singha Durbar to meet the minister demanded income tax waiver for five years to industries that export goods.</p>

<p>Similarly, they also demanded cash grant from customs points.</p>

<p>Likewise, NCC President Shrestha said there should be one window policy on collecting revenue and the unspent capital expenditure should be used for commercial development as re-loan.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Its Marketing Director Baibhav Sharma informed that the beer is a &lsquo;strong&rsquo; beer with premium taste. The beer prepared with premium scotch malts and selected herbs will provide different taste to new generation of beer lovers, informed the company.</p>

<p>The beer launched with the tagline &lsquo;Stronger and Smoother&rsquo; contains 6.5 percent alcohol. The company has set the market price of 650 ml bottle at Rs 310.</p>

<p>The construction committee had bought the land for Rs 1.4 million. The completed two-story cold storage will be spread across an area of 1300 sq ft with a capacity to hold 20 trucks of vegetable products, informed Surendra Jung Lamichhane, member of the construction and consumers committee.</p>

<p>&ldquo;Indian tourists prefer to go to Nepal for religious tours as well as for sight-seeing,&rdquo; said Indian tourism expert Sanjay Sharma during an interaction with Nepali tourism entrepreneurs who had visited Bihar&rsquo;s capital Patna with the slogan &lsquo;Chaliye Pokhara&rsquo; to promote tourism in Nepal.</p>

<p>&ldquo;Pokhara, Kathmandu and Chitwan among other cities have become favorite destinations for Indian tourists,&rdquo; said Sharma.</p>

<p>Indian tourism entrepreneurs also said that Nepal has become a major attraction for Indian tourists because of the close proximity. They suggested their Nepali counterpart during the interaction programme that Nepal needs to develop infrastructure to attract more number of Indian tourists.</p>

<p>Although Nepal has been a major destination for Indian tourists, they have grievances of not having direct transportation between various cities of the two countries.</p>

<p>Sharma said Indian tourists should have better access to comfortable tourist bus services from the border areas to various destinations in Nepal.</p>

<p>&ldquo;The number of Indian tourists could rise if there are direct flights from Patna to Pokhara,&rdquo; he added. &nbsp;</p>

<p>Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation&rsquo;s Public Relations Officer Jagendra Singh suggested that Nepali tourism could leapfrog if there is political stability in Nepal.</p>

<p>Western Regional Hotel Association&rsquo;s President Bikal Tulachan invited Indian tourists to Pokhara as it is a suitable destination for Indian tourists to avoid the summer heat.</p>

<p>The association has been launching &lsquo;Chaliye Pokhara&rsquo; campaign in various cities of India in coordination with Nepal Tourism Board.</p>

<p>Speaking at the interaction programme, Tourism Board Pokhara&rsquo;s senior official Surya Thapalia said that more number of Indian tourists can be brought to Pokhara because it is just a day&rsquo;s drive from the Nepal-India border.</p>

<p>Indian Tourist Bureau, Bihar&rsquo;s Director Amitabh Mishra said that Nepal was a suitable destination for Indians for a family trip.&nbsp;</p>
