In June, 9282 people took flights to and from the airport.

Yeti Airlines’ branch manager Rajesh Singh said that problem arises when the passengers do not get the tickets. “When the temperature goes down, we can adjust passengers for full flight. But when the temperature goes up, we have to reduce the number of passengers,” he said.

The airport chief Pawan Kumar Gautam informed that the number of passengers has increased as compared to the previous month.

Yeti Airlines can accommodate up to 30 persons per flight while the carrying capacity of Buddha Air is between 47 to 82.

Sandeep Kumar Shrestha, a local of Bharatpur, says that he was forced to take a flight because of the poor condition of the Mugling-Narayanghat road section.

“If I don’t reach Kathmandu on time, I will miss my exams. But I haven’t got the ticket since the last five days,” he laments.

The air passengers have been suffering as the tickets have been booked since over a week. The ticketing problem has also affected the tourists who had come to visit Sauraha and Chitwan National Park.

“The Mugling-Narayanghat road section has caused more damage than the earthquake,” said Regional Hotel Association, Sauraha’s President Suman Ghimire.
', 'published' => true, 'created' => '2017-07-04', 'modified' => '2017-07-04', 'keywords' => '', 'description' => '', 'sortorder' => '5918', 'image' => '20170704033247_Buddha.jpg', 'article_date' => '2017-07-04 00:00:00', 'homepage' => false, 'breaking_news' => false, 'main_news' => true, 'in_scroller' => false, 'user_id' => '16' ) ) ) $current_user = null $logged_in = falseinclude - APP/View/Elements/side_bar.ctp, line 60 View::_evaluate() - CORE/Cake/View/View.php, line 971 View::_render() - CORE/Cake/View/View.php, line 933 View::_renderElement() - CORE/Cake/View/View.php, line 1224 View::element() - CORE/Cake/View/View.php, line 418 include - APP/View/Articles/index.ctp, line 157 View::_evaluate() - CORE/Cake/View/View.php, line 971 View::_render() - CORE/Cake/View/View.php, line 933 View::render() - CORE/Cake/View/View.php, line 473 Controller::render() - CORE/Cake/Controller/Controller.php, line 968 Dispatcher::_invoke() - CORE/Cake/Routing/Dispatcher.php, line 200 Dispatcher::dispatch() - CORE/Cake/Routing/Dispatcher.php, line 167 [main] - APP/webroot/index.php, line 117

Himalayan Refrigeration and Electrical Industries, CG Electronics and Hilltake have been producing local brands of ACs. The minimum price of AC available in the local market is Rs 30,000.

The increase in number of integrated settlements, corporate offices, financial institutions and big industries in the recent years has also significantly increased the sales of ACs, according to the dealers.

The demand for ACs has increased by 40 percent at present. Easy access and slashing prices are the other factors that have made ACs affordable even for the middle-class people, unlike in the past when it used to be bought only by the elites. ACs, which used to be available mostly in the Kathmandu Valley a few years ago, are now available is most of the places where there is electricity, according to the dealers of ACs.

More than a dozen national and international brands of ACs are available in the Nepali market. Himalayan Refrigeration and Electrical Industries, CG Electronics and Hilltake have been producing local brands of ACs. However, all of these local ACs are generally manufactured in China and assembled in Nepal. The price of ACs differ according to the brand, size and capacity. The minimum price of AC available in the local market is Rs 30,000.

The increase in number of integrated settlements, corporate offices, financial institutions and big industries in the recent years has also significantly increased the sales of ACs, according to the dealers.

The demand for ACs has increased by 40 percent at present. Unlike fans and heaters which serve only one purpose, ACs function both ways - give warmth during cold days and making the environment cool during hot days. Since the ACs can be used in both cold and hot seasons, it is in high demand throughout the year. However, the distributors of ACs say that comparatively there is more sale in summer than in winter.

Panasonic, LG, Haier, Samsung, Whirlpool, Fuji are some of the popular international brands available in the local markets of Nepal. Of late, even non-branded ACs have gained market. With the onset of monsoon, the road section which is undergoing construction for widening into two lanes poses high risk of landslides. This has made the commuters opt for air route.

Private airlines companies including Buddha Air, Yeti Airlines and Simrik Air have been providing additional flights to meet the demands of the passengers.

Earlier, Buddha Air and Yeti Airlines used to have three regular flights to Bharatput. But now, they have up to nine flights per day.

According to Bharatpur airport, altogether 9212 passengers opted for flights to travel to and from Bharatpur to Kathmandu in the month of May.

', 'published' => true, 'created' => '2017-07-04', 'modified' => '2017-07-04', 'keywords' => '', 'description' => '', 'sortorder' => '5918', 'image' => '20170704033247_Buddha.jpg', 'article_date' => '2017-07-04 00:00:00', 'homepage' => false, 'breaking_news' => false, 'main_news' => true, 'in_scroller' => false, 'user_id' => '16' ) ) ) $current_user = null $logged_in = false $xml = falsesimplexml_load_file - [internal], line ?? include - APP/View/Elements/side_bar.ctp, line 133 View::_evaluate() - CORE/Cake/View/View.php, line 971 View::_render() - CORE/Cake/View/View.php, line 933 View::_renderElement() - CORE/Cake/View/View.php, line 1224 View::element() - CORE/Cake/View/View.php, line 418 include - APP/View/Articles/index.ctp, line 157 View::_evaluate() - CORE/Cake/View/View.php, line 971 View::_render() - CORE/Cake/View/View.php, line 933 View::render() - CORE/Cake/View/View.php, line 473 Controller::render() - CORE/Cake/Controller/Controller.php, line 968 Dispatcher::_invoke() - CORE/Cake/Routing/Dispatcher.php, line 200 Dispatcher::dispatch() - CORE/Cake/Routing/Dispatcher.php, line 167 [main] - APP/webroot/index.php, line 117
