The entrepreneurs have complained that the government’s decision to waive the concession it had been providing will result in price hike and decline in the demand of home-made textiles.</p> <p>Pragati Textile Industry’s Director Jitendra Lohia says that the textile industries have managed to survive so far only because of the VAT concession provided by the government.</p> <p>“It is not possible to increase the price of clothes at the same ratio like other goods. We cannot sell them at a price lower than our cost either. According to him, the evaluating company from Singapore was selected through a global tender.</p> <p>Since NAC has added new Airbus to its fleet, the Boeing aircraft needs to be phased out for the proper management of the company, he added. </p> <p>Majority of airlines perform their flight operation either with Boeing or by Airbus, while only a few use aircraft of both the companies.</p> <p>“But in case of NAC, we have already decided to move ahead with Airbus and we also have three airbus by now. So we are selling the Boeing aircraft,” informed Kansakar.</p> <p>NAC, which was established sixty years ago, was once leading the aviation industry in South Asia with 21 aircraft. But it currently only has 13 aircraft for domestic and international flights.</p> <p>The airline sold its first Boeing 757 aircraft to BB Airways last year.</p> <p>NAC bought its first wide-body Airbus A 330 some weeks ago and the second wide-body aircraft will arrive shortly.
