<p>MTC-2016 opened from 30<sup>th</sup> May 2016 and concluded on 9<sup>th</sup> July 2016. Initially the participants were provided with Rs. 500,000 opening balance which they had to use to trade in demo account. Participants were required to increase their balance/equity using their trading skills and strategies. Free training program was also organized for the participants to enhance their trading kills.</p>

<p>First, second and third position holders collected the equity of Rs 2,688,638.79, Rs 2,682,087.80 Rs 2,219,152.95 respectively within the 30 trading days. The winner bagged a prize worth Rs 30,000 along with other gift hampers. Similarly 2<sup>nd</sup> and 3<sup>rd</sup> position winners were awarded with prizes worth Rs 20,000 and 10,000 respectively. Abhiyan Upadhyay from NIBL Capital was honored for performing as the Most Consistent Trader of the challenge. The winners were given trading account along with certificate and trophy by Jitesh Surendran, CEO of MEX Nepal.&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Ram Prasad Bastola, another operator of the resort said, &quot; Goodluck Multi Agro Farm will be constructed with a vision to enhance business and agriculture. The resort also has four well-facilitated bars.&quot;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The farm has three fishpond cottages to attract foreign and domestic tourists. The guests can do fish angling from fishpond cottages having seat capacity for 10 people in each cottage. According to Bastola, there is arrangement of separate cottages for groups who want to spend whole day at the resort. The resort will also provide facility for guests in families or single to come for fishing and cook the fishes. Meanwhile, guests can also enjoy mountain views of Mount Macchapuchhre and other ranges from the resort which is located near to Begnas Lake.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">With the project in the final phase of completion, construction works of bamboo lounges, seminar hall and children park are being carried out. The rooms of the resort are equipped with LED TV, Wi-Fi and AC facilities.&nbsp;</p>

NOC was in debt since the FY 2059/60. It had taken debt from the government along with various banks and financial institutions &nbsp;(BFIs) in a bid to carry out fuel trading. &ldquo;NOC has paid all the debts taken from the government and various BFIs in various dates. Now we are debt free,&rdquo; said Mukunda Ghimire, Spokesperson of NOC. In the total amount paid by NOC, Rs 800 million is the loan amount and remaining Rs 615.3 million is interest.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">With the increase in petroleum products&rsquo; price in the international market, NOC had been trading fuel occurring loss. According to it, the loss had accumulated to Rs 36.86 billion by the year 2071. After adopting automated pricing system in the year 2071, NOC started to earn profit. After two years of implementing automated pricing system, NOC has finally become debt free paying all the due amount.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Recent fall in the price of crude oil in the international market to USD 30 per barrel has escalated the profit of NOC. The price of crude oil is still under USD 50 in the international market. Currently, NOC is earning Rs 700 million monthly profit which was Rs 1 billion few months back. &ldquo;The excessive price fall of crude oil in the international market along with internal progress has enabled us to pay the debt,&rdquo; said Sita Ram Pokharel, Acting Director for Finance Department, NOC.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">NOC had taken debt from the government owned organisations including Citizen Investment Trust, Employee Provident Fund. It had also taken loans from private BFIs including Everest Bank, Nabil Bank, Bank of Kathmandu. According to Pokharel, NOC had already paid back debts taken from various BFIs in the last FY. It has now fully paid the government debt of Rs 12.64 billion in seven instalments in the current FY.</p>

<p>An agreement to this regard had already been signed between the two organisations. Keshab Parsad Adhikari, President of Modern Ira Tours and Travel and PK Bose, Chief of Gajiyabadh Depot of UPSRTC, signed a nine-point agreement on June 13 starting the bus to start the bus service.</p>

<p>&ldquo;As per the arrangement, the bus will depart at 9 in the morning from the Pokhara Tourism Buspark ,&rdquo; says Adhikari. &ldquo;The bus will follow a rotue of Syanja, Waling, Butwal, Sunauli Border, Gorakhpur, Lucknow, Delhi and finally Anandabihar.&rdquo;</p>

<p>The service will be operated under Prithivi Highway Bus Operators Committee. &nbsp;Four buses from both sides will provide the service. &ldquo;Deluxe AC buses will be operated charging NPR 2,200 and INR Rs 3,520 for the service,&rdquo; informs Adhikari.</p>

<p>Home Minister Shakti Bahadur Basnet, Ranjit Roy, Ambassador of India to Nepal will be jointly inaugurating the service which will be held on July 11.&nbsp;</p>

			'content' => '<p>July 10: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has asked for suggestions from stakeholders regarding extension of share transaction period. In the present context, when transaction load and market is at the highest level, general investors are also of the view of extending share transaction period. Most of the worldwide stock exchanges open for 6-8 hours for stock transactions whereas NEPSE opens for only three hours.</p>

<p>Taking into account the number of companies engaged and the market size, the three hours of transaction period for small stock market like NEPSE is not short. However, during the current bull period, the transaction period apparently feels short. Due to the shortage of time, many transactions could not get finalised in NEPSE. Yet, Nepali stock market being volatile in nature, some investors opined of continuing the same period.</p>

<p>NEPSE, however, has no alternative besides extending share transaction period in order to manage increased number of investors and their trading orders. Although extension of share transaction period is a positive move to take, NEPSE should take few preparations prior to this including adapting advance technology as suggested by many.</p>

<p>&ldquo;As per the rumour, number of clearing banks will not be raised. It can create problem for clearing share transaction money,&rdquo; said Amrit Nath Regmi, analyst and share investor. Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) and NEPSE are in dispute over the issue. If the number of clearing banks is not raised, many expect additional problems with additional transaction that comes with time in future. &ldquo;It should also be considered that how much pressure NEPSE software can handle,&rdquo; added Regmi.</p>

<p>According to share investor and Analyst Rabindra Bhattarai and broker Ishwari Rimal, NEPSE should provide online trading facility. &ldquo;The increased period will not be effective with stale technology. Online share trading will increase market accessibility for share investors,&rdquo; said Bhattarai.</p>

<p>Similarly, Rimal opined that online trading should be mechanised as there is only limited terminal for brokers at present. &ldquo;Presently, share trading can be conducted through nearly 120 terminals. Lack of terminals has barred brokers to enter additional districts. The simple initiative for it is to mechanise online trading,&rdquo; he said. &ldquo;Online share trading will facilitate investors of trading shares themselves which will eliminate problems related with terminal and lack of manpower in broker companies.&rdquo;</p>

<p>Similarly, stakeholders have also suggested analysing capacity of CDS and Clearing Ltd. Likewise, many brokers suggested of providing facilities of margin lending and netting.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The farm has three fishpond cottages to attract foreign and domestic tourists. The guests can do fish angling from fishpond cottages having seat capacity for 10 people in each cottage. According to Bastola, there is arrangement of separate cottages for groups who want to spend whole day at the resort. The resort will also provide facility for guests in families or single to come for fishing and cook the fishes. Meanwhile, guests can also enjoy mountain views of Mount Macchapuchhre and other ranges from the resort which is located near to Begnas Lake.</p>

It had taken debt from the government along with various banks and financial institutions &nbsp;(BFIs) in a bid to carry out fuel trading. &ldquo;NOC has paid all the debts taken from the government and various BFIs in various dates. Now we are debt free,&rdquo; said Mukunda Ghimire, Spokesperson of NOC. In the total amount paid by NOC, Rs 800 million is the loan amount and remaining Rs 615.3 million is interest.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">With the increase in petroleum products&rsquo; price in the international market, NOC had been trading fuel occurring loss. According to it, the loss had accumulated to Rs 36.86 billion by the year 2071. After adopting automated pricing system in the year 2071, NOC started to earn profit. After two years of implementing automated pricing system, NOC has finally become debt free paying all the due amount.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Recent fall in the price of crude oil in the international market to USD 30 per barrel has escalated the profit of NOC. The price of crude oil is still under USD 50 in the international market. Currently, NOC is earning Rs 700 million monthly profit which was Rs 1 billion few months back. &ldquo;The excessive price fall of crude oil in the international market along with internal progress has enabled us to pay the debt,&rdquo; said Sita Ram Pokharel, Acting Director for Finance Department, NOC.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">NOC had taken debt from the government owned organisations including Citizen Investment Trust, Employee Provident Fund. It had also taken loans from private BFIs including Everest Bank, Nabil Bank, Bank of Kathmandu. According to Pokharel, NOC had already paid back debts taken from various BFIs in the last FY. It has now fully paid the government debt of Rs 12.64 billion in seven instalments in the current FY.</p>

<p>An agreement to this regard had already been signed between the two organisations. Keshab Parsad Adhikari, President of Modern Ira Tours and Travel and PK Bose, Chief of Gajiyabadh Depot of UPSRTC, signed a nine-point agreement on June 13 starting the bus to start the bus service.</p>

<p>&ldquo;As per the arrangement, the bus will depart at 9 in the morning from the Pokhara Tourism Buspark ,&rdquo; says Adhikari. &ldquo;The bus will follow a rotue of Syanja, Waling, Butwal, Sunauli Border, Gorakhpur, Lucknow, Delhi and finally Anandabihar.&rdquo;</p>

<p>The service will be operated under Prithivi Highway Bus Operators Committee. &nbsp;Four buses from both sides will provide the service. &ldquo;Deluxe AC buses will be operated charging NPR 2,200 and INR Rs 3,520 for the service,&rdquo; informs Adhikari.</p>

<p>Home Minister Shakti Bahadur Basnet, Ranjit Roy, Ambassador of India to Nepal will be jointly inaugurating the service which will be held on July 11.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Taking into account the number of companies engaged and the market size, the three hours of transaction period for small stock market like NEPSE is not short. However, during the current bull period, the transaction period apparently feels short. Due to the shortage of time, many transactions could not get finalised in NEPSE. Yet, Nepali stock market being volatile in nature, some investors opined of continuing the same period.</p>

<p>NEPSE, however, has no alternative besides extending share transaction period in order to manage increased number of investors and their trading orders. Although extension of share transaction period is a positive move to take, NEPSE should take few preparations prior to this including adapting advance technology as suggested by many.</p>

<p>&ldquo;As per the rumour, number of clearing banks will not be raised. It can create problem for clearing share transaction money,&rdquo; said Amrit Nath Regmi, analyst and share investor. Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) and NEPSE are in dispute over the issue. If the number of clearing banks is not raised, many expect additional problems with additional transaction that comes with time in future. &ldquo;It should also be considered that how much pressure NEPSE software can handle,&rdquo; added Regmi.</p>

<p>According to share investor and Analyst Rabindra Bhattarai and broker Ishwari Rimal, NEPSE should provide online trading facility. &ldquo;The increased period will not be effective with stale technology. Online share trading will increase market accessibility for share investors,&rdquo; said Bhattarai.</p>

<p>Similarly, Rimal opined that online trading should be mechanised as there is only limited terminal for brokers at present. &ldquo;Presently, share trading can be conducted through nearly 120 terminals. Lack of terminals has barred brokers to enter additional districts. The simple initiative for it is to mechanise online trading,&rdquo; he said. &ldquo;Online share trading will facilitate investors of trading shares themselves which will eliminate problems related with terminal and lack of manpower in broker companies.&rdquo;</p>

<p>Similarly, stakeholders have also suggested analysing capacity of CDS and Clearing Ltd. Likewise, many brokers suggested of providing facilities of margin lending and netting.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The farm has three fishpond cottages to attract foreign and domestic tourists. The guests can do fish angling from fishpond cottages having seat capacity for 10 people in each cottage. According to Bastola, there is arrangement of separate cottages for groups who want to spend whole day at the resort. The resort will also provide facility for guests in families or single to come for fishing and cook the fishes. Meanwhile, guests can also enjoy mountain views of Mount Macchapuchhre and other ranges from the resort which is located near to Begnas Lake.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">With the project in the final phase of completion, construction works of bamboo lounges, seminar hall and children park are being carried out. The rooms of the resort are equipped with LED TV, Wi-Fi and AC facilities.&nbsp;</p>

NOC was in debt since the FY 2059/60. It had taken debt from the government along with various banks and financial institutions &nbsp;(BFIs) in a bid to carry out fuel trading. &ldquo;NOC has paid all the debts taken from the government and various BFIs in various dates. Now we are debt free,&rdquo; said Mukunda Ghimire, Spokesperson of NOC. In the total amount paid by NOC, Rs 800 million is the loan amount and remaining Rs 615.3 million is interest.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">With the increase in petroleum products&rsquo; price in the international market, NOC had been trading fuel occurring loss. According to it, the loss had accumulated to Rs 36.86 billion by the year 2071. After adopting automated pricing system in the year 2071, NOC started to earn profit. After two years of implementing automated pricing system, NOC has finally become debt free paying all the due amount.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Recent fall in the price of crude oil in the international market to USD 30 per barrel has escalated the profit of NOC. The price of crude oil is still under USD 50 in the international market. Currently, NOC is earning Rs 700 million monthly profit which was Rs 1 billion few months back. &ldquo;The excessive price fall of crude oil in the international market along with internal progress has enabled us to pay the debt,&rdquo; said Sita Ram Pokharel, Acting Director for Finance Department, NOC.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">NOC had taken debt from the government owned organisations including Citizen Investment Trust, Employee Provident Fund. It had also taken loans from private BFIs including Everest Bank, Nabil Bank, Bank of Kathmandu. According to Pokharel, NOC had already paid back debts taken from various BFIs in the last FY. It has now fully paid the government debt of Rs 12.64 billion in seven instalments in the current FY.</p>

<p>An agreement to this regard had already been signed between the two organisations. Keshab Parsad Adhikari, President of Modern Ira Tours and Travel and PK Bose, Chief of Gajiyabadh Depot of UPSRTC, signed a nine-point agreement on June 13 starting the bus to start the bus service.</p>

<p>&ldquo;As per the arrangement, the bus will depart at 9 in the morning from the Pokhara Tourism Buspark ,&rdquo; says Adhikari. &ldquo;The bus will follow a rotue of Syanja, Waling, Butwal, Sunauli Border, Gorakhpur, Lucknow, Delhi and finally Anandabihar.&rdquo;</p>

<p>The service will be operated under Prithivi Highway Bus Operators Committee. &nbsp;Four buses from both sides will provide the service. &ldquo;Deluxe AC buses will be operated charging NPR 2,200 and INR Rs 3,520 for the service,&rdquo; informs Adhikari.</p>

<p>Taking into account the number of companies engaged and the market size, the three hours of transaction period for small stock market like NEPSE is not short. However, during the current bull period, the transaction period apparently feels short. Due to the shortage of time, many transactions could not get finalised in NEPSE. Yet, Nepali stock market being volatile in nature, some investors opined of continuing the same period.</p>

<p>NEPSE, however, has no alternative besides extending share transaction period in order to manage increased number of investors and their trading orders. Although extension of share transaction period is a positive move to take, NEPSE should take few preparations prior to this including adapting advance technology as suggested by many.</p>

<p>&ldquo;As per the rumour, number of clearing banks will not be raised. It can create problem for clearing share transaction money,&rdquo; said Amrit Nath Regmi, analyst and share investor. Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) and NEPSE are in dispute over the issue. If the number of clearing banks is not raised, many expect additional problems with additional transaction that comes with time in future. &ldquo;It should also be considered that how much pressure NEPSE software can handle,&rdquo; added Regmi.</p>

<p>According to share investor and Analyst Rabindra Bhattarai and broker Ishwari Rimal, NEPSE should provide online trading facility. &ldquo;The increased period will not be effective with stale technology. Online share trading will increase market accessibility for share investors,&rdquo; said Bhattarai.</p>

<p>Similarly, Rimal opined that online trading should be mechanised as there is only limited terminal for brokers at present. &ldquo;Presently, share trading can be conducted through nearly 120 terminals. Lack of terminals has barred brokers to enter additional districts. The simple initiative for it is to mechanise online trading,&rdquo; he said. &ldquo;Online share trading will facilitate investors of trading shares themselves which will eliminate problems related with terminal and lack of manpower in broker companies.&rdquo;</p>

<p>Similarly, stakeholders have also suggested analysing capacity of CDS and Clearing Ltd. Likewise, many brokers suggested of providing facilities of margin lending and netting.</p>

The bank decided to provide the bonus from the income of fiscal year 2071/2072 to increase the paid-up capital. <p style="text-align: justify;">BBBL has collected the deposits of Rs 1.47 billion and extended the credit of Rs 1.14 billion by the first week of July of current FY. &ldquo;The operating profit has increased due to the significant increase in deposits and credit extension,&rdquo; said Pushkar Raj Joshi, CEO of BBBL.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The farm has three fishpond cottages to attract foreign and domestic tourists. The guests can do fish angling from fishpond cottages having seat capacity for 10 people in each cottage. According to Bastola, there is arrangement of separate cottages for groups who want to spend whole day at the resort. The resort will also provide facility for guests in families or single to come for fishing and cook the fishes. Meanwhile, guests can also enjoy mountain views of Mount Macchapuchhre and other ranges from the resort which is located near to Begnas Lake.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">With the project in the final phase of completion, construction works of bamboo lounges, seminar hall and children park are being carried out. The rooms of the resort are equipped with LED TV, Wi-Fi and AC facilities.&nbsp;</p>

NOC was in debt since the FY 2059/60. It had taken debt from the government along with various banks and financial institutions &nbsp;(BFIs) in a bid to carry out fuel trading. &ldquo;NOC has paid all the debts taken from the government and various BFIs in various dates. Now we are debt free,&rdquo; said Mukunda Ghimire, Spokesperson of NOC. In the total amount paid by NOC, Rs 800 million is the loan amount and remaining Rs 615.3 million is interest.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">With the increase in petroleum products&rsquo; price in the international market, NOC had been trading fuel occurring loss. According to it, the loss had accumulated to Rs 36.86 billion by the year 2071. After adopting automated pricing system in the year 2071, NOC started to earn profit. After two years of implementing automated pricing system, NOC has finally become debt free paying all the due amount.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Recent fall in the price of crude oil in the international market to USD 30 per barrel has escalated the profit of NOC. The price of crude oil is still under USD 50 in the international market. Currently, NOC is earning Rs 700 million monthly profit which was Rs 1 billion few months back. &ldquo;The excessive price fall of crude oil in the international market along with internal progress has enabled us to pay the debt,&rdquo; said Sita Ram Pokharel, Acting Director for Finance Department, NOC.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">NOC had taken debt from the government owned organisations including Citizen Investment Trust, Employee Provident Fund. It had also taken loans from private BFIs including Everest Bank, Nabil Bank, Bank of Kathmandu. According to Pokharel, NOC had already paid back debts taken from various BFIs in the last FY. It has now fully paid the government debt of Rs 12.64 billion in seven instalments in the current FY.</p>

<p>An agreement to this regard had already been signed between the two organisations. Keshab Parsad Adhikari, President of Modern Ira Tours and Travel and PK Bose, Chief of Gajiyabadh Depot of UPSRTC, signed a nine-point agreement on June 13 starting the bus to start the bus service.</p>

<p>&ldquo;As per the arrangement, the bus will depart at 9 in the morning from the Pokhara Tourism Buspark ,&rdquo; says Adhikari. &ldquo;The bus will follow a rotue of Syanja, Waling, Butwal, Sunauli Border, Gorakhpur, Lucknow, Delhi and finally Anandabihar.&rdquo;</p>

<p>The service will be operated under Prithivi Highway Bus Operators Committee. &nbsp;Four buses from both sides will provide the service. &ldquo;Deluxe AC buses will be operated charging NPR 2,200 and INR Rs 3,520 for the service,&rdquo; informs Adhikari.</p>

<p>Home Minister Shakti Bahadur Basnet, Ranjit Roy, Ambassador of India to Nepal will be jointly inaugurating the service which will be held on July 11.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Taking into account the number of companies engaged and the market size, the three hours of transaction period for small stock market like NEPSE is not short. However, during the current bull period, the transaction period apparently feels short. Due to the shortage of time, many transactions could not get finalised in NEPSE. Yet, Nepali stock market being volatile in nature, some investors opined of continuing the same period.</p>

<p>NEPSE, however, has no alternative besides extending share transaction period in order to manage increased number of investors and their trading orders. Although extension of share transaction period is a positive move to take, NEPSE should take few preparations prior to this including adapting advance technology as suggested by many.</p>

<p>&ldquo;As per the rumour, number of clearing banks will not be raised. It can create problem for clearing share transaction money,&rdquo; said Amrit Nath Regmi, analyst and share investor. Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) and NEPSE are in dispute over the issue. If the number of clearing banks is not raised, many expect additional problems with additional transaction that comes with time in future. &ldquo;It should also be considered that how much pressure NEPSE software can handle,&rdquo; added Regmi.</p>

<p>According to share investor and Analyst Rabindra Bhattarai and broker Ishwari Rimal, NEPSE should provide online trading facility. &ldquo;The increased period will not be effective with stale technology. Online share trading will increase market accessibility for share investors,&rdquo; said Bhattarai.</p>

<p>Similarly, Rimal opined that online trading should be mechanised as there is only limited terminal for brokers at present. &ldquo;Presently, share trading can be conducted through nearly 120 terminals. Lack of terminals has barred brokers to enter additional districts. The simple initiative for it is to mechanise online trading,&rdquo; he said. &ldquo;Online share trading will facilitate investors of trading shares themselves which will eliminate problems related with terminal and lack of manpower in broker companies.&rdquo;</p>

<p>Similarly, stakeholders have also suggested analysing capacity of CDS and Clearing Ltd. Likewise, many brokers suggested of providing facilities of margin lending and netting.</p>
