His early career was with Reuters in the UK, the US, Japan, Vietnam and Malaysia. He is currently based in Singapore.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify">During the stay in Nepal, Howes is scheduled to meet officials of regulators and financial crime investigating authorities in addition to attending internal meetings and briefings to the staff of Standard Chartered Bank Nepal. The visit to Nepal has been just before SCB Group’s Correspondent Banking Academy Country Workshop to be held in Kathmandu on 28th July for the commercial banks in Nepal which are its Correspondent Banking clients. </p>
