For that matter, the government has started discussion with various political parties. On the question &ldquo;When will budget come?&rdquo; asked by Abhiyan, a Prime Minister Office related source said &ldquo;A draft budget might be announced on stipulated date.&rdquo; As per the sub-section 3 of section 119 of the Nepali constitution, the government must announce the national budget on every Jestha 15.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">However, the local level poll that is going to held after a long period in two stages has complicated the budget program. According to Election Commission of Nepal, it is not feasible to announce budget in midst of election program. Similarly, the opposition party has declared that the poll conducted after the budget announcement will be declined. However, economists are urging the government to bring the budget on the stipulated time stating that no one is above the constitution.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Dr Yubraj Khatiwada, former NRB Governor also stated that there is worldwide practice of holding election and bringing budget simultaneously. Thus, Nepal Government should also act as per the mechanism set by the constitution. He argued that detail plans and programs can be injected in the supplementary budget which will be announced later in order to maintain political balance. Presently, the financial market is in awe regarding the time bound of budget announcement as the stipulated time is really near.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Dr Shanta Raj Subedi, Finance Secretary has also said that the Finance Ministry is ready to bring the budget on stipulated time. &ldquo;The government is working in a bid to bring the budget as per the constitutional mechanism,&rdquo; he said. He opined that in order to stop the budget, constitution need to be amended, however, no such proposal has been submitted, thus, the government will bring the national budget on time.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">National Planning Commission has given the ceiling of Rs 1156.40 billion for the budget of coming FY 2047/75. In the total budget, Rs 708.81 billion will be allocated to current expenses, Rs 330.64 billion will be allocated to capital expenditure and Rs 116.58 billion will be allocated to financial administration. According to the budget ceiling, Rs 843 billion will be generated from revenue and internal loan, Rs 102 billion will be generated from foreign grant and Rs 210 billion will be collected from foreign loans. However, the political parties have not engaged in discussion regarding the complication of time limit. Meanwhile, the Prime Minister&rsquo;s Office ensured to give conclusion on the time limit within few days.</p>

<p>The projects include the Upper Tamakoshi that is being constructed by the subsidiary company of NEA, which is the promoter and other private sector projects.</p>

<p>Similarly, 38 projects that have already concluded PPA are waiting for financial management for the construction.</p>

<p>Both types of projects can generate a total of 2,653 MW of electricity. The projects, smallest of which include micro hydropower projects such as 23 KW Siuribhume Micro Hydropower Project in Nuwakot to 456 MW Upper Tamakoshi hydropower project as the largest.</p>

<p>There are 17 micro hydropower projects that are below one MW which are under-construction and financial management is remaining, while there are 61 projects that are between one MW to 10 MW.</p>

<p>Similarly, there are 58 projects that are of 10 MW to 100 MW and three projects that are above 100 MW.</p>

<p>Among the 139 projects, more than 49 hydropower projects are being constructed in central development region if taken region wise.</p>

<p>Likewise, 39 projects are being constructed in the western development region, 35 projects in the eastern development region and three projects are being constructed which also touch the central development region.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The NT will provide the high speed internet service to Kavrepalanchowk, Sindhupalchowk, Nuwakot and Rasuwa districts by utilizing the Rural Telecommunication Development Fund (RTDF).</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;The NT and Nepal Telecommunications Authority (NTA) signed the memorandum of understanding (MoU) on May 4 to expand the internet service in those districts. The MoU was signed by Kamini Rajbhandari, Managing Director of NT and Digambar Jha, Chairman of NTA.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Speaking at the programme, Chairman Jha said that the company will participate in such projects in the future as well, whereas Rajbhandari thanking NTA for supporting in the implementation of the second project, made commitment for the conclusion of the project on time.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The detailed study on the districts has already carried out. She informed that high speed internet will be provided through suitable technologies among GSM, CDMA, ADSL and WiMax, according to the location of the place.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">According to the project, NT will provide fast internet services to government and community schools, health posts, Ayurved centers, ward offices, rural municipalities and municipalities in the earthquake-affected districts. Likewise, the operation and repair will also be done by the company itself.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The broadband internet will also be expanded to seven districts besides the above, which include Gorkha, Dhading, Makawanpur, Dolkha, Ramechhap, Sindhuli and Okhaldhunga. According to NTA, the process has already started for the expansion of internet in those districts.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">NTA, has already signed agreements with Subisu Cable Net in the first phase at a cost of Rs 207.08 million in Gorkha, Dhading and Makwanpur districts.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Similarly, in the second phase, the Authority has signed agreement with Mercantile Communications for expanding internet services in Dolkha, Ramechhap, Sindhuli and Okhaldhunga districts at a cost of Rs 235 million.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;The cost of the project signed with NT will be Rs. 211.6 million and the customers will get free internet service for two years in those places.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">In a special program organized by the company, Minister Joshi stated that the industrial sector has gained new confidence with the revival of Nepal Drugs. Joshi accepted that the revival process was delayed due to procedures of tender and meeting WHO standard.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Initially, Minister Joshi had committed to revive the company within three months. Moreover, he informed that the preparation of constructing herbal laboratory in the same premises is going on. &ldquo;The company will also manufacture medicines like &lsquo;Anti- venom&rsquo; which is used for snake bite and &lsquo;Anti-rabies&rsquo; which is used against rabies after two years,&rdquo; he added. &nbsp;</p>

For that matter, the government has started discussion with various political parties. On the question &ldquo;When will budget come?&rdquo; asked by Abhiyan, a Prime Minister Office related source said &ldquo;A draft budget might be announced on stipulated date.&rdquo; As per the sub-section 3 of section 119 of the Nepali constitution, the government must announce the national budget on every Jestha 15.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">However, the local level poll that is going to held after a long period in two stages has complicated the budget program. According to Election Commission of Nepal, it is not feasible to announce budget in midst of election program. Similarly, the opposition party has declared that the poll conducted after the budget announcement will be declined. However, economists are urging the government to bring the budget on the stipulated time stating that no one is above the constitution.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Dr Yubraj Khatiwada, former NRB Governor also stated that there is worldwide practice of holding election and bringing budget simultaneously. Thus, Nepal Government should also act as per the mechanism set by the constitution. He argued that detail plans and programs can be injected in the supplementary budget which will be announced later in order to maintain political balance. Presently, the financial market is in awe regarding the time bound of budget announcement as the stipulated time is really near.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Dr Shanta Raj Subedi, Finance Secretary has also said that the Finance Ministry is ready to bring the budget on stipulated time. &ldquo;The government is working in a bid to bring the budget as per the constitutional mechanism,&rdquo; he said. He opined that in order to stop the budget, constitution need to be amended, however, no such proposal has been submitted, thus, the government will bring the national budget on time.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">National Planning Commission has given the ceiling of Rs 1156.40 billion for the budget of coming FY 2047/75. In the total budget, Rs 708.81 billion will be allocated to current expenses, Rs 330.64 billion will be allocated to capital expenditure and Rs 116.58 billion will be allocated to financial administration. According to the budget ceiling, Rs 843 billion will be generated from revenue and internal loan, Rs 102 billion will be generated from foreign grant and Rs 210 billion will be collected from foreign loans. However, the political parties have not engaged in discussion regarding the complication of time limit. Meanwhile, the Prime Minister&rsquo;s Office ensured to give conclusion on the time limit within few days.</p>

<p>The projects include the Upper Tamakoshi that is being constructed by the subsidiary company of NEA, which is the promoter and other private sector projects.</p>

<p>Similarly, 38 projects that have already concluded PPA are waiting for financial management for the construction.</p>

<p>Both types of projects can generate a total of 2,653 MW of electricity. The projects, smallest of which include micro hydropower projects such as 23 KW Siuribhume Micro Hydropower Project in Nuwakot to 456 MW Upper Tamakoshi hydropower project as the largest.</p>

<p>There are 17 micro hydropower projects that are below one MW which are under-construction and financial management is remaining, while there are 61 projects that are between one MW to 10 MW.</p>

<p>Similarly, there are 58 projects that are of 10 MW to 100 MW and three projects that are above 100 MW.</p>

<p>Among the 139 projects, more than 49 hydropower projects are being constructed in central development region if taken region wise.</p>

<p>Likewise, 39 projects are being constructed in the western development region, 35 projects in the eastern development region and three projects are being constructed which also touch the central development region.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The NT will provide the high speed internet service to Kavrepalanchowk, Sindhupalchowk, Nuwakot and Rasuwa districts by utilizing the Rural Telecommunication Development Fund (RTDF).</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;The NT and Nepal Telecommunications Authority (NTA) signed the memorandum of understanding (MoU) on May 4 to expand the internet service in those districts. The MoU was signed by Kamini Rajbhandari, Managing Director of NT and Digambar Jha, Chairman of NTA.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Speaking at the programme, Chairman Jha said that the company will participate in such projects in the future as well, whereas Rajbhandari thanking NTA for supporting in the implementation of the second project, made commitment for the conclusion of the project on time.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The detailed study on the districts has already carried out. She informed that high speed internet will be provided through suitable technologies among GSM, CDMA, ADSL and WiMax, according to the location of the place.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">According to the project, NT will provide fast internet services to government and community schools, health posts, Ayurved centers, ward offices, rural municipalities and municipalities in the earthquake-affected districts. Likewise, the operation and repair will also be done by the company itself.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The broadband internet will also be expanded to seven districts besides the above, which include Gorkha, Dhading, Makawanpur, Dolkha, Ramechhap, Sindhuli and Okhaldhunga. According to NTA, the process has already started for the expansion of internet in those districts.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">NTA, has already signed agreements with Subisu Cable Net in the first phase at a cost of Rs 207.08 million in Gorkha, Dhading and Makwanpur districts.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Similarly, in the second phase, the Authority has signed agreement with Mercantile Communications for expanding internet services in Dolkha, Ramechhap, Sindhuli and Okhaldhunga districts at a cost of Rs 235 million.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;The cost of the project signed with NT will be Rs. 211.6 million and the customers will get free internet service for two years in those places.</p>

For that matter, the government has started discussion with various political parties. On the question &ldquo;When will budget come?&rdquo; asked by Abhiyan, a Prime Minister Office related source said &ldquo;A draft budget might be announced on stipulated date.&rdquo; As per the sub-section 3 of section 119 of the Nepali constitution, the government must announce the national budget on every Jestha 15.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">However, the local level poll that is going to held after a long period in two stages has complicated the budget program. According to Election Commission of Nepal, it is not feasible to announce budget in midst of election program. Similarly, the opposition party has declared that the poll conducted after the budget announcement will be declined. However, economists are urging the government to bring the budget on the stipulated time stating that no one is above the constitution.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Dr Yubraj Khatiwada, former NRB Governor also stated that there is worldwide practice of holding election and bringing budget simultaneously. Thus, Nepal Government should also act as per the mechanism set by the constitution. He argued that detail plans and programs can be injected in the supplementary budget which will be announced later in order to maintain political balance. Presently, the financial market is in awe regarding the time bound of budget announcement as the stipulated time is really near.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Dr Shanta Raj Subedi, Finance Secretary has also said that the Finance Ministry is ready to bring the budget on stipulated time. &ldquo;The government is working in a bid to bring the budget as per the constitutional mechanism,&rdquo; he said. He opined that in order to stop the budget, constitution need to be amended, however, no such proposal has been submitted, thus, the government will bring the national budget on time.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">National Planning Commission has given the ceiling of Rs 1156.40 billion for the budget of coming FY 2047/75. In the total budget, Rs 708.81 billion will be allocated to current expenses, Rs 330.64 billion will be allocated to capital expenditure and Rs 116.58 billion will be allocated to financial administration. According to the budget ceiling, Rs 843 billion will be generated from revenue and internal loan, Rs 102 billion will be generated from foreign grant and Rs 210 billion will be collected from foreign loans. However, the political parties have not engaged in discussion regarding the complication of time limit. Meanwhile, the Prime Minister&rsquo;s Office ensured to give conclusion on the time limit within few days.</p>

<p>The projects include the Upper Tamakoshi that is being constructed by the subsidiary company of NEA, which is the promoter and other private sector projects.</p>

<p>Similarly, 38 projects that have already concluded PPA are waiting for financial management for the construction.</p>

<p>Both types of projects can generate a total of 2,653 MW of electricity. The projects, smallest of which include micro hydropower projects such as 23 KW Siuribhume Micro Hydropower Project in Nuwakot to 456 MW Upper Tamakoshi hydropower project as the largest.</p>

<p>There are 17 micro hydropower projects that are below one MW which are under-construction and financial management is remaining, while there are 61 projects that are between one MW to 10 MW.</p>

<p>Similarly, there are 58 projects that are of 10 MW to 100 MW and three projects that are above 100 MW.</p>

<p>Among the 139 projects, more than 49 hydropower projects are being constructed in central development region if taken region wise.</p>

<p>Likewise, 39 projects are being constructed in the western development region, 35 projects in the eastern development region and three projects are being constructed which also touch the central development region.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The NT will provide the high speed internet service to Kavrepalanchowk, Sindhupalchowk, Nuwakot and Rasuwa districts by utilizing the Rural Telecommunication Development Fund (RTDF).</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;The NT and Nepal Telecommunications Authority (NTA) signed the memorandum of understanding (MoU) on May 4 to expand the internet service in those districts. The MoU was signed by Kamini Rajbhandari, Managing Director of NT and Digambar Jha, Chairman of NTA.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Speaking at the programme, Chairman Jha said that the company will participate in such projects in the future as well, whereas Rajbhandari thanking NTA for supporting in the implementation of the second project, made commitment for the conclusion of the project on time.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The detailed study on the districts has already carried out. She informed that high speed internet will be provided through suitable technologies among GSM, CDMA, ADSL and WiMax, according to the location of the place.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">According to the project, NT will provide fast internet services to government and community schools, health posts, Ayurved centers, ward offices, rural municipalities and municipalities in the earthquake-affected districts. Likewise, the operation and repair will also be done by the company itself.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The broadband internet will also be expanded to seven districts besides the above, which include Gorkha, Dhading, Makawanpur, Dolkha, Ramechhap, Sindhuli and Okhaldhunga. According to NTA, the process has already started for the expansion of internet in those districts.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">NTA, has already signed agreements with Subisu Cable Net in the first phase at a cost of Rs 207.08 million in Gorkha, Dhading and Makwanpur districts.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Similarly, in the second phase, the Authority has signed agreement with Mercantile Communications for expanding internet services in Dolkha, Ramechhap, Sindhuli and Okhaldhunga districts at a cost of Rs 235 million.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;The cost of the project signed with NT will be Rs. 211.6 million and the customers will get free internet service for two years in those places.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Industry Minister Nabindra Raj Joshi, immediately after his appointment, had committed of restarting closed government industries as per priority basis. &nbsp;&nbsp;The revival of Nepal Drug is the first success in this attempt. After the continuous effort of Minister Joshi, the drug company has been revived. The company will operate as per its target of reaching market within mid-May by launching Jivanjal. Jivanjal and Citamol are the recognized brands of the company.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">In a special program organized by the company, Minister Joshi stated that the industrial sector has gained new confidence with the revival of Nepal Drugs. Joshi accepted that the revival process was delayed due to procedures of tender and meeting WHO standard.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Initially, Minister Joshi had committed to revive the company within three months. Moreover, he informed that the preparation of constructing herbal laboratory in the same premises is going on. &ldquo;The company will also manufacture medicines like &lsquo;Anti- venom&rsquo; which is used for snake bite and &lsquo;Anti-rabies&rsquo; which is used against rabies after two years,&rdquo; he added. &nbsp;</p>

For that matter, the government has started discussion with various political parties. On the question &ldquo;When will budget come?&rdquo; asked by Abhiyan, a Prime Minister Office related source said &ldquo;A draft budget might be announced on stipulated date.&rdquo; As per the sub-section 3 of section 119 of the Nepali constitution, the government must announce the national budget on every Jestha 15.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">However, the local level poll that is going to held after a long period in two stages has complicated the budget program. According to Election Commission of Nepal, it is not feasible to announce budget in midst of election program. Similarly, the opposition party has declared that the poll conducted after the budget announcement will be declined. However, economists are urging the government to bring the budget on the stipulated time stating that no one is above the constitution.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Dr Yubraj Khatiwada, former NRB Governor also stated that there is worldwide practice of holding election and bringing budget simultaneously. Thus, Nepal Government should also act as per the mechanism set by the constitution. He argued that detail plans and programs can be injected in the supplementary budget which will be announced later in order to maintain political balance. Presently, the financial market is in awe regarding the time bound of budget announcement as the stipulated time is really near.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Dr Shanta Raj Subedi, Finance Secretary has also said that the Finance Ministry is ready to bring the budget on stipulated time. &ldquo;The government is working in a bid to bring the budget as per the constitutional mechanism,&rdquo; he said. He opined that in order to stop the budget, constitution need to be amended, however, no such proposal has been submitted, thus, the government will bring the national budget on time.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">National Planning Commission has given the ceiling of Rs 1156.40 billion for the budget of coming FY 2047/75. In the total budget, Rs 708.81 billion will be allocated to current expenses, Rs 330.64 billion will be allocated to capital expenditure and Rs 116.58 billion will be allocated to financial administration. According to the budget ceiling, Rs 843 billion will be generated from revenue and internal loan, Rs 102 billion will be generated from foreign grant and Rs 210 billion will be collected from foreign loans. However, the political parties have not engaged in discussion regarding the complication of time limit. Meanwhile, the Prime Minister&rsquo;s Office ensured to give conclusion on the time limit within few days.</p>

<p>The projects include the Upper Tamakoshi that is being constructed by the subsidiary company of NEA, which is the promoter and other private sector projects.</p>

<p>Similarly, 38 projects that have already concluded PPA are waiting for financial management for the construction.</p>

<p>Both types of projects can generate a total of 2,653 MW of electricity. The projects, smallest of which include micro hydropower projects such as 23 KW Siuribhume Micro Hydropower Project in Nuwakot to 456 MW Upper Tamakoshi hydropower project as the largest.</p>

<p>There are 17 micro hydropower projects that are below one MW which are under-construction and financial management is remaining, while there are 61 projects that are between one MW to 10 MW.</p>

<p>Similarly, there are 58 projects that are of 10 MW to 100 MW and three projects that are above 100 MW.</p>

<p>Among the 139 projects, more than 49 hydropower projects are being constructed in central development region if taken region wise.</p>

<p>Likewise, 39 projects are being constructed in the western development region, 35 projects in the eastern development region and three projects are being constructed which also touch the central development region.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The NT will provide the high speed internet service to Kavrepalanchowk, Sindhupalchowk, Nuwakot and Rasuwa districts by utilizing the Rural Telecommunication Development Fund (RTDF).</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;The NT and Nepal Telecommunications Authority (NTA) signed the memorandum of understanding (MoU) on May 4 to expand the internet service in those districts. The MoU was signed by Kamini Rajbhandari, Managing Director of NT and Digambar Jha, Chairman of NTA.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Speaking at the programme, Chairman Jha said that the company will participate in such projects in the future as well, whereas Rajbhandari thanking NTA for supporting in the implementation of the second project, made commitment for the conclusion of the project on time.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The detailed study on the districts has already carried out. She informed that high speed internet will be provided through suitable technologies among GSM, CDMA, ADSL and WiMax, according to the location of the place.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">According to the project, NT will provide fast internet services to government and community schools, health posts, Ayurved centers, ward offices, rural municipalities and municipalities in the earthquake-affected districts. Likewise, the operation and repair will also be done by the company itself.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The broadband internet will also be expanded to seven districts besides the above, which include Gorkha, Dhading, Makawanpur, Dolkha, Ramechhap, Sindhuli and Okhaldhunga. According to NTA, the process has already started for the expansion of internet in those districts.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">NTA, has already signed agreements with Subisu Cable Net in the first phase at a cost of Rs 207.08 million in Gorkha, Dhading and Makwanpur districts.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Similarly, in the second phase, the Authority has signed agreement with Mercantile Communications for expanding internet services in Dolkha, Ramechhap, Sindhuli and Okhaldhunga districts at a cost of Rs 235 million.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;The cost of the project signed with NT will be Rs. 211.6 million and the customers will get free internet service for two years in those places.</p>

After the continuous effort of Minister Joshi, the drug company has been revived. The company will operate as per its target of reaching market within mid-May by launching Jivanjal. Jivanjal and Citamol are the recognized brands of the company.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">In a special program organized by the company, Minister Joshi stated that the industrial sector has gained new confidence with the revival of Nepal Drugs. Joshi accepted that the revival process was delayed due to procedures of tender and meeting WHO standard.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Initially, Minister Joshi had committed to revive the company within three months. Moreover, he informed that the preparation of constructing herbal laboratory in the same premises is going on. &ldquo;The company will also manufacture medicines like &lsquo;Anti- venom&rsquo; which is used for snake bite and &lsquo;Anti-rabies&rsquo; which is used against rabies after two years,&rdquo; he added. &nbsp;</p>
