The company will operate as per its target of reaching market within mid-May by launching Jivanjal. Jivanjal and Citamol are the recognized brands of the company.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Industry Minister Nabindra Raj Joshi, immediately after his appointment, had committed of restarting closed government industries as per priority basis. The revival of Nepal Drug is the first success in this attempt. After the continuous effort of Minister Joshi, the drug company has been revived. The company will operate as per its target of reaching market within mid-May by launching Jivanjal. Jivanjal and Citamol are the recognized brands of the company.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">In a special program organized by the company, Minister Joshi stated that the industrial sector has gained new confidence with the revival of Nepal Drugs. Joshi accepted that the revival process was delayed due to procedures of tender and meeting WHO standard.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Initially, Minister Joshi had committed to revive the company within three months. Moreover, he informed that the preparation of constructing herbal laboratory in the same premises is going on. “The company will also manufacture medicines like ‘Anti- venom’ which is used for snake bite and ‘Anti-rabies’ which is used against rabies after two years,” he added. </p>
