<p>Issuing a press statement, Coca-Cola said Kinley water comes with the assurance of high quality, safe drinking water and is produced with state-of-the-art technology using an eight-step purification process.</p>

<p>Nepal&rsquo;s renowned actor Rajesh Hamal, brand ambassador for Kinley, unveiled the brand, along with the Country Director of Coca-Cola in Nepal, Ambuj Singh and Managing Director of Bottlers Nepal Limited, Puneet Varshney.</p>

<p>Prior to the launch, water experts Kabindra Pudasaini, senior program manager of Water Aid Nepal and Ghanashyam Gurung, senior conservation program director of WWF Nepal, highlighted the current scenario of water availability and quality of drinking water in Nepal. Both shared that they are partnering with Coca-Cola on innovative measures to replenish groundwater with projects on rainwater harvesting and groundwater recharge, in and outside the Kathmandu Valley.</p>

<p>At the launch, Ambuj Singh, country director of Coca-Cola in Nepal, shared, &ldquo;Kinley is a brand trusted around the region, and we are excited to bring it to the consumers in Nepal. STC said that the government has given permission after two years to sell the zinc sheets at the market price. The STC stated that it had imported 50,000 bundles of zinc sheets for Rs 300 million from India on the second week of June, 2015.</span></p>

<p>A meeting of the &nbsp;council of ministers had directed the STC to purchase the sheets for the construction of public buildings, schools and health posts. But the sheets had to be stored in the godowns for a long time after the government bodies did not use them in construction.</p>

<p>Despite the demand for the zinc sheets in the market, the government had not allowed the STC to sell the zinc sheets. A few days ago, the Ministry of Supplies had forwarded the the proposal of the STC to sell those zinc sheets to the council of ministers and the cabinet meeting subsequently approved it.</p>

<p>Pankaj Joshi, divisional manager of STC, said that the corporation is preparing to call for tenders after the provincial assembly election. The STC is set to sell the zinc sheets at the current market price, bearing a loss as it had bought them at higher price.</p>

<p>The STC informed that the interest of the amount taken for the purchase of the zinc sheets has reached Rs 70 million. The Ministry of Supplies has approved the sale and has been corresponding with the Ministry of Finance to compensate for the loss amount that the STC will bear after selling the zinc sheets, said a source at the Ministry of Supplies.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>Customers can enjoy up to 700 minutes in a month with the new voice packs. Under this offer, customer can get daily voice pack of 20 minutes talk time at&nbsp;Rs 15 including taxes. The new weekly voice pack offers 120 minutes talk time at Rs 70 including taxes. Likewise, newly introduced 3-day voice pack offers 50 minutes of talk time at Rs 30 including taxes. Similarly, the monthly voice pack of 700 minutes talk time can be availed at Rs 300, which means customers taking new monthly voice pack can enjoy per minute call at 43 paisa only.</p>

<p>A daily voice pack minute is valid for 24 hours, while the validity of the weekly voice pack minutes is seven days. Similarly, the three-day voice pack has validity of three days and the monthly voice pack is valid for 30 days. Once the validity period expires or talk time finishes, customers will be charged at the prevailing tariff. The prevailing charge for on net call is Rs 2.50 (including taxes) per minute. <p>The ADB has 81 percent of investment in the project. Likewise, Town Development Fund (TDF) and Birgunj Metropolitan City have 11 percent and 8 percent of investment, respectively.</p>

<p>According to Sailendra Shrestha, director of the project, 15 percent of work is still to be completed.</p>

<p>&ldquo;The contractor was unable to complete the project within the given time period. We are yet to decide what to do with the contract,&rdquo; he told New Business Age.</p>

<p>In 2015, the time period was extended by 10 months as the progress of the project was halted by Madhes movement and the unofficial economic blockade imposed by India. Later, the time period was again extended by five months and three months, respectively.</p>

STC said that the government has given permission after two years to sell the zinc sheets at the market price. The STC stated that it had imported 50,000 bundles of zinc sheets for Rs 300 million from India on the second week of June, 2015.</span></p>

<p>A meeting of the &nbsp;council of ministers had directed the STC to purchase the sheets for the construction of public buildings, schools and health posts. But the sheets had to be stored in the godowns for a long time after the government bodies did not use them in construction.</p>

<p>Despite the demand for the zinc sheets in the market, the government had not allowed the STC to sell the zinc sheets. A few days ago, the Ministry of Supplies had forwarded the the proposal of the STC to sell those zinc sheets to the council of ministers and the cabinet meeting subsequently approved it.</p>

<p>Pankaj Joshi, divisional manager of STC, said that the corporation is preparing to call for tenders after the provincial assembly election. The STC is set to sell the zinc sheets at the current market price, bearing a loss as it had bought them at higher price.</p>

<p>The STC informed that the interest of the amount taken for the purchase of the zinc sheets has reached Rs 70 million. The Ministry of Supplies has approved the sale and has been corresponding with the Ministry of Finance to compensate for the loss amount that the STC will bear after selling the zinc sheets, said a source at the Ministry of Supplies.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>As the project has not seen any significant progress to complete it in the given time, the locals of the area are facing many difficulties. CTCE/Kalika Joint venture, a Nepal-China joint venture company had bagged the tender of the project in 2014.</p>

<p>The ADB has 81 percent of investment in the project. Likewise, Town Development Fund (TDF) and Birgunj Metropolitan City have 11 percent and 8 percent of investment, respectively.</p>

<p>According to Sailendra Shrestha, director of the project, 15 percent of work is still to be completed.</p>

<p>&ldquo;The contractor was unable to complete the project within the given time period. We are yet to decide what to do with the contract,&rdquo; he told New Business Age.</p>

<p>In 2015, the time period was extended by 10 months as the progress of the project was halted by Madhes movement and the unofficial economic blockade imposed by India. Later, the time period was again extended by five months and three months, respectively.</p>

STC said that the government has given permission after two years to sell the zinc sheets at the market price. The STC stated that it had imported 50,000 bundles of zinc sheets for Rs 300 million from India on the second week of June, 2015.</span></p>

<p>A meeting of the &nbsp;council of ministers had directed the STC to purchase the sheets for the construction of public buildings, schools and health posts. But the sheets had to be stored in the godowns for a long time after the government bodies did not use them in construction.</p>

<p>Despite the demand for the zinc sheets in the market, the government had not allowed the STC to sell the zinc sheets. A few days ago, the Ministry of Supplies had forwarded the the proposal of the STC to sell those zinc sheets to the council of ministers and the cabinet meeting subsequently approved it.</p>

<p>Pankaj Joshi, divisional manager of STC, said that the corporation is preparing to call for tenders after the provincial assembly election. The STC is set to sell the zinc sheets at the current market price, bearing a loss as it had bought them at higher price.</p>

<p>The STC informed that the interest of the amount taken for the purchase of the zinc sheets has reached Rs 70 million. The Ministry of Supplies has approved the sale and has been corresponding with the Ministry of Finance to compensate for the loss amount that the STC will bear after selling the zinc sheets, said a source at the Ministry of Supplies.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>Customers can enjoy up to 700 minutes in a month with the new voice packs. Under this offer, customer can get daily voice pack of 20 minutes talk time at&nbsp;Rs 15 including taxes. The new weekly voice pack offers 120 minutes talk time at Rs 70 including taxes. Likewise, newly introduced 3-day voice pack offers 50 minutes of talk time at Rs 30 including taxes. Similarly, the monthly voice pack of 700 minutes talk time can be availed at Rs 300, which means customers taking new monthly voice pack can enjoy per minute call at 43 paisa only.</p>

<p>A daily voice pack minute is valid for 24 hours, while the validity of the weekly voice pack minutes is seven days. Similarly, the three-day voice pack has validity of three days and the monthly voice pack is valid for 30 days. Once the validity period expires or talk time finishes, customers will be charged at the prevailing tariff. The prevailing charge for on net call is Rs 2.50 (including taxes) per minute. All voice pack minutes are applicable to make a call to any Ncell number.</p>

<p>&ldquo;We are delighted to introduce four new voice packs by adding extra value for our customers in basic voice service,&rdquo; said Pranay Acharya, corporate services director of Ncell. &ldquo;This scheme is a part of our commitment to provide quality services at affordable rates.&rdquo;</p>

<p>&ldquo;There is no change in the existing voice packs and customers still can buy them as per their need. Customers can buy these new packs as many times as they want, as per their communication need,&rdquo; mentions the press release issued by the company. <p>The ADB has 81 percent of investment in the project. Likewise, Town Development Fund (TDF) and Birgunj Metropolitan City have 11 percent and 8 percent of investment, respectively.</p>

<p>According to Sailendra Shrestha, director of the project, 15 percent of work is still to be completed.</p>

<p>&ldquo;The contractor was unable to complete the project within the given time period. We are yet to decide what to do with the contract,&rdquo; he told New Business Age.</p>

<p>In 2015, the time period was extended by 10 months as the progress of the project was halted by Madhes movement and the unofficial economic blockade imposed by India. Later, the time period was again extended by five months and three months, respectively.</p>

STC said that the government has given permission after two years to sell the zinc sheets at the market price. The STC stated that it had imported 50,000 bundles of zinc sheets for Rs 300 million from India on the second week of June, 2015.</span></p>

<p>A meeting of the &nbsp;council of ministers had directed the STC to purchase the sheets for the construction of public buildings, schools and health posts. But the sheets had to be stored in the godowns for a long time after the government bodies did not use them in construction.</p>

<p>Despite the demand for the zinc sheets in the market, the government had not allowed the STC to sell the zinc sheets. A few days ago, the Ministry of Supplies had forwarded the the proposal of the STC to sell those zinc sheets to the council of ministers and the cabinet meeting subsequently approved it.</p>

<p>Pankaj Joshi, divisional manager of STC, said that the corporation is preparing to call for tenders after the provincial assembly election. The STC is set to sell the zinc sheets at the current market price, bearing a loss as it had bought them at higher price.</p>

<p>The STC informed that the interest of the amount taken for the purchase of the zinc sheets has reached Rs 70 million. The Ministry of Supplies has approved the sale and has been corresponding with the Ministry of Finance to compensate for the loss amount that the STC will bear after selling the zinc sheets, said a source at the Ministry of Supplies.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

The new voice packs have come into effect from November 23 for a period of 90 days, reads a press statement issued by the company. Under these packs, customers can subscribe to daily, weekly and monthly voice packs. Customers can now also subscribe three-day voice pack under the scheme.</span></p>

<p>Customers can enjoy up to 700 minutes in a month with the new voice packs. Under this offer, customer can get daily voice pack of 20 minutes talk time at&nbsp;Rs 15 including taxes. The new weekly voice pack offers 120 minutes talk time at Rs 70 including taxes. Likewise, newly introduced 3-day voice pack offers 50 minutes of talk time at Rs 30 including taxes. Similarly, the monthly voice pack of 700 minutes talk time can be availed at Rs 300, which means customers taking new monthly voice pack can enjoy per minute call at 43 paisa only.</p>

<p>A daily voice pack minute is valid for 24 hours, while the validity of the weekly voice pack minutes is seven days. Similarly, the three-day voice pack has validity of three days and the monthly voice pack is valid for 30 days. Once the validity period expires or talk time finishes, customers will be charged at the prevailing tariff. The prevailing charge for on net call is Rs 2.50 (including taxes) per minute. All voice pack minutes are applicable to make a call to any Ncell number.</p>

<p>&ldquo;We are delighted to introduce four new voice packs by adding extra value for our customers in basic voice service,&rdquo; said Pranay Acharya, corporate services director of Ncell. &ldquo;This scheme is a part of our commitment to provide quality services at affordable rates.&rdquo;</p>

<p>&ldquo;There is no change in the existing voice packs and customers still can buy them as per their need. Customers can buy these new packs as many times as they want, as per their communication need,&rdquo; mentions the press release issued by the company. They can buy or activate the voice service packs through channels including USSD, IVR, SMS and Ncell Mobile App, it reads.</p>

<p>As the project has not seen any significant progress to complete it in the given time, the locals of the area are facing many difficulties. CTCE/Kalika Joint venture, a Nepal-China joint venture company had bagged the tender of the project in 2014.</p>

<p>The ADB has 81 percent of investment in the project. Likewise, Town Development Fund (TDF) and Birgunj Metropolitan City have 11 percent and 8 percent of investment, respectively.</p>

<p>According to Sailendra Shrestha, director of the project, 15 percent of work is still to be completed.</p>

<p>&ldquo;The contractor was unable to complete the project within the given time period. We are yet to decide what to do with the contract,&rdquo; he told New Business Age.</p>

<p>In 2015, the time period was extended by 10 months as the progress of the project was halted by Madhes movement and the unofficial economic blockade imposed by India. Later, the time period was again extended by five months and three months, respectively.</p>
