			'content' => '<p>May 15: The &lsquo;Grand CA Education Fair 2018&rsquo; hosted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAN) drew over 250 visitors at Nepal Police Club in Bhrikutimandap on Monday, May 14, according to the organizer. ICAN said in a statement that the overwhelming number of participants in the fair is an indication about the growing interest among youths on pursuing chartered accountancy courses.</p>

<p>Along with ICAN, CCMA College Pvt Ltd, CIMA Academics Pvt Ltd, Chaitanya Institute of Management Pvt Ltd and Academy of Commerce Pvt Ltd had their stalls to provide information and counseling to the aspiring CA students relating to CA courses, admission procedure and opportunities available after qualifying CA courses.</p>

<p>ICAN President Prakash Jung Thapa said that the fair was organized to provide indepth information about the CA education and its scope to the students. He said that the regulatory body of the accountancy profession in the country plans to organize the fair regularly.</p>

<p>&ldquo;The fair has helped in enriching student&rsquo;s knowledge regarding CA education, opportunities associated with it and ways to secure CA qualification,&rdquo; he added.</p>

<p>Apart from the admission process, qualifications, scholarships, grants and accredited institutions for chartered accountancy courses by the coaching centers, ICAN has been providing information to the students and their guardians about the recent agreement of the institute with Chartered Accountant Australia and New Zealand and The Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy.</p>

<p>The ICAN&rsquo;s Vice President Jagannath Upadhyay said that the fair has helped in dispelling a misconception among students that the chartered accountancy courses are difficult and expensive to pursue.</p>

<p>Students participating in the fair also shared that the fair has helped them in getting authentic and accurate information about the CA courses that they are interested in. One among such students was Abhimanyu Uptrety from Ramechhap. He said that the interaction with chartered accountants and other student pursuing the course has helped in clearing many doubts that he had about the course. Keshar Karki, another student from Kaski, said that he was convinced after attending the fair that the CA course in Nepal is also international standard.</p>

<p>Future strategy of accountancy professionals discussed</p>

<p>The Institute&nbsp; of&nbsp; Chartered&nbsp; Accountants&nbsp; of&nbsp; Nepal&nbsp; (ICAN)&nbsp; hosted&nbsp; Members&nbsp; Meeting, Assembly&nbsp; Meeting and&nbsp; Board&nbsp; Meeting&nbsp; of&nbsp; Confederation&nbsp; of&nbsp; Asian&nbsp; and&nbsp; Pacific&nbsp; Accountants(CAPA) in Kathmandu on Monday. The CAPA members&#39; meetings were focused on various issues related to regional accounting profession and strengthening the capacity of the member bodies, according to ICAN officials. The assembly meeting also approved the annual report of the organization. The meeting also discussed rigorously on the future strategy of the confederation, said Prakash Jung Thapa, ICAN&rsquo;s president.</p>

<p>The ICAN&rsquo;s Vice President Jagannath Upadhyay said that the fair has helped in dispelling a misconception among students that the chartered accountancy courses are difficult and expensive to pursue.</p>

<p>Students participating in the fair also shared that the fair has helped them in getting authentic and accurate information about the CA courses that they are interested in. One among such students was Abhimanyu Uptrety from Ramechhap. He said that the interaction with chartered accountants and other student pursuing the course has helped in clearing many doubts that he had about the course. Keshar Karki, another student from Kaski, said that he was convinced after attending the fair that the CA course in Nepal is also international standard.</p>

<p>Future strategy of accountancy professionals discussed</p>

<p>The Institute&nbsp; of&nbsp; Chartered&nbsp; Accountants&nbsp; of&nbsp; Nepal&nbsp; (ICAN)&nbsp; hosted&nbsp; Members&nbsp; Meeting, Assembly&nbsp; Meeting and&nbsp; Board&nbsp; Meeting&nbsp; of&nbsp; Confederation&nbsp; of&nbsp; Asian&nbsp; and&nbsp; Pacific&nbsp; Accountants(CAPA) in Kathmandu on Monday. The CAPA members&#39; meetings were focused on various issues related to regional accounting profession and strengthening the capacity of the member bodies, according to ICAN officials. The assembly meeting also approved the annual report of the organization. The meeting also discussed rigorously on the future strategy of the confederation, said Prakash Jung Thapa, ICAN&rsquo;s president.</p>

<p>The ICAN&rsquo;s Vice President Jagannath Upadhyay said that the fair has helped in dispelling a misconception among students that the chartered accountancy courses are difficult and expensive to pursue.</p>

<p>Students participating in the fair also shared that the fair has helped them in getting authentic and accurate information about the CA courses that they are interested in. One among such students was Abhimanyu Uptrety from Ramechhap. He said that the interaction with chartered accountants and other student pursuing the course has helped in clearing many doubts that he had about the course. Keshar Karki, another student from Kaski, said that he was convinced after attending the fair that the CA course in Nepal is also international standard.</p>

<p>Future strategy of accountancy professionals discussed</p>

<p>The Institute&nbsp; of&nbsp; Chartered&nbsp; Accountants&nbsp; of&nbsp; Nepal&nbsp; (ICAN)&nbsp; hosted&nbsp; Members&nbsp; Meeting, Assembly&nbsp; Meeting and&nbsp; Board&nbsp; Meeting&nbsp; of&nbsp; Confederation&nbsp; of&nbsp; Asian&nbsp; and&nbsp; Pacific&nbsp; Accountants(CAPA) in Kathmandu on Monday. The CAPA members&#39; meetings were focused on various issues related to regional accounting profession and strengthening the capacity of the member bodies, according to ICAN officials. The assembly meeting also approved the annual report of the organization. The meeting also discussed rigorously on the future strategy of the confederation, said Prakash Jung Thapa, ICAN&rsquo;s president.</p>

<p>According to the airline company, the new service will follow the launch of new routes to Istanbul and Casablanca in June and July respectively. Oman Air has opened reservation for its planned service to Russia announced by the airline earlier this year. This comes in tandem with the recent announcement made by the Royal Oman Police (ROP) affirming that citizens of Iran, Russia and China have been added to the list of nationalities that can enter the Sultanate on a tourist visa without a local sponsor, according to the statement.</p>

<p>The new daily flight to Moscow&#39;s Domodedovo Airport will be operated by a Boeing 737 MAX 8 with an estimated flight time of 5 hours and 55 minutes, offering 12 seats in business class and 150 in economy. According to the company, flight WY181 will depart from Muscat daily at 14.00 and arriving at Moscow at 18.55 local time. The return flight WY182 will depart from Moscow at 00.55, arriving at Muscat International Airport at 07.35.</p>

<p>&nbsp;The route will be the only non-stop operation between Oman and Russia benefitting both business and leisure travellers, in addition to offering seamless connections via Oman Air hub to destinations across the globe.</p>

<p>The ICAN&rsquo;s Vice President Jagannath Upadhyay said that the fair has helped in dispelling a misconception among students that the chartered accountancy courses are difficult and expensive to pursue.</p>

<p>Students participating in the fair also shared that the fair has helped them in getting authentic and accurate information about the CA courses that they are interested in. One among such students was Abhimanyu Uptrety from Ramechhap. He said that the interaction with chartered accountants and other student pursuing the course has helped in clearing many doubts that he had about the course. Keshar Karki, another student from Kaski, said that he was convinced after attending the fair that the CA course in Nepal is also international standard.</p>

<p>Future strategy of accountancy professionals discussed</p>

<p>The Institute&nbsp; of&nbsp; Chartered&nbsp; Accountants&nbsp; of&nbsp; Nepal&nbsp; (ICAN)&nbsp; hosted&nbsp; Members&nbsp; Meeting, Assembly&nbsp; Meeting and&nbsp; Board&nbsp; Meeting&nbsp; of&nbsp; Confederation&nbsp; of&nbsp; Asian&nbsp; and&nbsp; Pacific&nbsp; Accountants(CAPA) in Kathmandu on Monday. The CAPA members&#39; meetings were focused on various issues related to regional accounting profession and strengthening the capacity of the member bodies, according to ICAN officials. The assembly meeting also approved the annual report of the organization. The meeting also discussed rigorously on the future strategy of the confederation, said Prakash Jung Thapa, ICAN&rsquo;s president.</p>
