Lamsal began his record journey at 8:30am from Ratnapark in Kathmandu on Sunday, 20 November and stopped his bike only after 25 hours at Bhajuratna Engineering and Sales Pvt Ltd, Narayanghat at 9:32 am on Monday, 21 November. Arrangements were made to ensure that the necessities such as fuel, food and water were provided to the man and his bike without disrupting the record attempt. His bike travelled along the route of Kathmandu-Narayanghat- Hetauda-Narayanghat-Butwal-Hetauda-Narayanghat.</p> <p> The Honda CD Twister that travelled the distance of 957 kms without any mechanical failures to set the world record used approximately 15 litres of petrol, setting the mileage of Honda CB Twister at 63.8 kms per litre. Constable Lamsal’s successful attempt to set a world record was managed by 81e Pvt Ltd, an event management company. </p> <p> The event was assisted by Nepal Police and sponsored by Syakar Company, the authorised dealer of Honda bikes in Nepal. “I am very happy and proud that I have been able to achieve my target,†said Lamsal. Arrangements were made to ensure that the necessities such as fuel, food and water were provided to the man and his bike without disrupting the record attempt. His bike travelled along the route of Kathmandu-Narayanghat- Hetauda-Narayanghat-Butwal-Hetauda-Narayanghat.</p> <p> The Honda CD Twister that travelled the distance of 957 kms without any mechanical failures to set the world record used approximately 15 litres of petrol, setting the mileage of Honda CB Twister at 63.8 kms per litre. Arrangements were made to ensure that the necessities such as fuel, food and water were provided to the man and his bike without disrupting the record attempt.
