<p>He said it was necessary to formulate a long-term plan in favour of the country and added that Nepalis themselves should make the nation.</p>

<p>The Governor expressed the view that there should not be made any delay to increase investment in hydropower sector to end energy crisis of the country and expansion and promotion of industries related to domestic raw materials.</p>

<p>The country would not face problems from border blockade in the days ahead if it pays attention in agro and hydro sectors, he added.</p>

<p>Stating that no effect has been seen in total deposit and saving of the country so far due to the blockade, Governor Nepal, however, said the impacts would be seen gradually.</p>

<p>Board of Director of the Micro Finance and former Chief Election Commissioner Nil Kantha Upreti expressed the commitment to expand the services in all areas in a decade. RSS</p>

<p>Pandit started his mountaineering career by climbing Mt Everest and Mt Manaslu, which is considered the most formidable mountain for climbers. Later on, he went on to scale Mt Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain peak in Africa, Mt Elbrus, the highest mountain in Europe, Mt Kosciuszko, the highest mountain peak in Australia, Mt Aconcagua, the highest mountain in South America, Mt Fuji, the highest mountain in Japan and Mt Denali, the highest mountain in America.</p>

<p>Now, Pandit aims to summit the Mt Vinson Massif, the highest mountain in Antarctica by the end of this year. RSS</p>

<p>Shiva Prasad Aryal, general secretary of the Federation of the Nepal Petroleum Transport Entrepreneurs (FNPTE), said that the oil tankers will ferry the total 102,000 litres petrol in a lot. Aryal is also part of the team.</p>

<p>Similarly, as many as 50 quake-damaged houses which obstructed the public space or posed threat to adjoining houses were immediately dismantled by Nepal Army, Nepal Police and KMC.</p>

<p>Currently, KMC has been dismantling those houses receiving complete damages within the inner circle of the city, shared Dhanpati.</p>

<p>According to him, the delay in dismantling such houses is attributed to the festival time and reluctance of the house-owners who often cite the dual ownership of the house of house-owners living abroad.</p>

<p>To dismantle such houses, first the house-owners need to file an application to the KMC. Thereafter a team of KMC goes to the concerned houses for assessment.<br />
KMC is now gearing up to dismantle the quake-ravaged houses in Kalimati, Kalanki and Kuleshower among others places.</p>

<p>Many a times the house owners themselves are found dismantling the quake-damaged houses after KMC grants its permission while some seek KMC&#39;s help for the same and clearing the debris after dismantling, added Sapkota.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, KMC has received 200 applications by the neighbors to dismantle the quake-damaged houses in their neighborhood.</p>

<p>KMC earlier used to receive some 20 requests seeking KMC&#39;s support in dismantling the quake-damaged houses. These days it receives four to five in a week, it was shared. RSS</p>

Currently total 304 e-rickshaw are in operation within Bharatpur sub-metropolis, informed Chitwan Rickshaw Entrepreneurs Committee Chairperson Amrit Kumar Shrestha, Likewise, 22 e-rickahsw are providing service in Ratnanagar town area.<br />
Each e-rickshaw can be purchased at the price range of Rs 280,000 to Rs 320,000. The rickshaw drivers are making daily income of Rs 2,000 to Rs 5,000 from the operation of four-seat e-rickshaw in Chitwan.<br />

<p>The hatchery entrepreneurs were found compelled to bury their chicken as the farmers stopped buying grown up chicken from the hatchery these days.</p>

<p>On the other hand, hatchery entrepreneurs were facing difficulty reaching the eggs and chickens to the traders and consumers due to lack of transport as a result of the fuel shortage, said Hatchery Industry Association Chitwan chair Rishi Poudel.</p>

<p>He shared that they were compelled to bury about 2.2 million chicken on Sunday itself across the country.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size:14px">A statement issued today by Jamie McGoldrick, Humanitarian Coordinator in Nepal, read that six months after the devastating earthquakes that shook Nepal in April, humanitarian partners provided emergency shelter to over 700,000 families, but the effect of the coming harsh cold weather, coupled with the lack of fuel, is a matter of concern to reach out to the needy with aids in remote and Himalaya areas of Nepal.</span></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size:14px">&ldquo;While much has been achieved, the humanitarian community remains committed to meet remaining needs,&rdquo; McGoldrick, however, said in the statement. &ldquo;With the winter on the way, we must ensure adequate shelter and food security, particularly for more than 80,000 families.&rdquo;<br />
&ldquo;But present conditions are a concern.&rdquo; Since the end of September, fuel in short supply has impeded progress,&quot; he said.</span></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size:14px">Meanwhile, the Humanitarian Country Team is urging a quick resolution to the fuel shortage so that winter goods can be quickly delivered to vulnerable households.</span></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size:14px">&quot;This massive logistical undertaking can be achieved. But the lack of fuel is significantly affecting distribution of goods,&quot; McGoldrick said.<br />
Meanwhile, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) said that it continues to support the government-led efforts to address food security and livelihood needs in the six most-quake hit districts--- Sindhupalchowk, Nuwakot, Dhading, Gorkha, Rasuwa and Dolakha.</span></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size:14px">Issuing a press release statement on Sunday, FAO said that six months after the earthquakes, vulnerable farmers in the worst-affected districts still need agricultural inputs to continue the rehabilitation and reconstruction process and revive the agricultural sector.</span></p>

<p>According to him, the delay in dismantling such houses is attributed to the festival time and reluctance of the house-owners who often cite the dual ownership of the house of house-owners living abroad.</p>

<p>To dismantle such houses, first the house-owners need to file an application to the KMC. Thereafter a team of KMC goes to the concerned houses for assessment.<br />
KMC is now gearing up to dismantle the quake-ravaged houses in Kalimati, Kalanki and Kuleshower among others places.</p>

<p>Many a times the house owners themselves are found dismantling the quake-damaged houses after KMC grants its permission while some seek KMC&#39;s help for the same and clearing the debris after dismantling, added Sapkota.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, KMC has received 200 applications by the neighbors to dismantle the quake-damaged houses in their neighborhood.</p>

<p>KMC earlier used to receive some 20 requests seeking KMC&#39;s support in dismantling the quake-damaged houses. These days it receives four to five in a week, it was shared. RSS</p>

<p>Bhandari who stood in the election as the consensus candidate of the ruling alliance defeated Nepali Congress candidate Kul Bhadur Gurung. Bhandari received 327 votes while Gurung got 214 votes.</p>

<p>Out of the total 597 lawmakers, 549 voted in the election. Forty-seven MPs were absent.</p>

<p>Bhandari was Population and Environment Minister in 1997 and Defence Minister in 2010.</p>

Each e-rickshaw can be purchased at the price range of Rs 280,000 to Rs 320,000. The rickshaw drivers are making daily income of Rs 2,000 to Rs 5,000 from the operation of four-seat e-rickshaw in Chitwan.<br />

<p>He shared that they were compelled to bury about 2.2 million chicken on Sunday itself across the country.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size:14px">A statement issued today by Jamie McGoldrick, Humanitarian Coordinator in Nepal, read that six months after the devastating earthquakes that shook Nepal in April, humanitarian partners provided emergency shelter to over 700,000 families, but the effect of the coming harsh cold weather, coupled with the lack of fuel, is a matter of concern to reach out to the needy with aids in remote and Himalaya areas of Nepal.</span></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size:14px">&ldquo;While much has been achieved, the humanitarian community remains committed to meet remaining needs,&rdquo; McGoldrick, however, said in the statement. &ldquo;With the winter on the way, we must ensure adequate shelter and food security, particularly for more than 80,000 families.&rdquo;<br />
&ldquo;But present conditions are a concern.&rdquo; Since the end of September, fuel in short supply has impeded progress,&quot; he said.</span></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size:14px">Meanwhile, the Humanitarian Country Team is urging a quick resolution to the fuel shortage so that winter goods can be quickly delivered to vulnerable households.</span></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size:14px">&quot;This massive logistical undertaking can be achieved. But the lack of fuel is significantly affecting distribution of goods,&quot; McGoldrick said.<br />
Meanwhile, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) said that it continues to support the government-led efforts to address food security and livelihood needs in the six most-quake hit districts--- Sindhupalchowk, Nuwakot, Dhading, Gorkha, Rasuwa and Dolakha.</span></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size:14px">Issuing a press release statement on Sunday, FAO said that six months after the earthquakes, vulnerable farmers in the worst-affected districts still need agricultural inputs to continue the rehabilitation and reconstruction process and revive the agricultural sector.</span></p>

<p>According to him, the delay in dismantling such houses is attributed to the festival time and reluctance of the house-owners who often cite the dual ownership of the house of house-owners living abroad.</p>

<p>To dismantle such houses, first the house-owners need to file an application to the KMC. Thereafter a team of KMC goes to the concerned houses for assessment.<br />
KMC is now gearing up to dismantle the quake-ravaged houses in Kalimati, Kalanki and Kuleshower among others places.</p>

<p>Many a times the house owners themselves are found dismantling the quake-damaged houses after KMC grants its permission while some seek KMC&#39;s help for the same and clearing the debris after dismantling, added Sapkota.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, KMC has received 200 applications by the neighbors to dismantle the quake-damaged houses in their neighborhood.</p>

<p>KMC earlier used to receive some 20 requests seeking KMC&#39;s support in dismantling the quake-damaged houses. These days it receives four to five in a week, it was shared. RSS</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size:14px">A statement issued today by Jamie McGoldrick, Humanitarian Coordinator in Nepal, read that six months after the devastating earthquakes that shook Nepal in April, humanitarian partners provided emergency shelter to over 700,000 families, but the effect of the coming harsh cold weather, coupled with the lack of fuel, is a matter of concern to reach out to the needy with aids in remote and Himalaya areas of Nepal.</span></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size:14px">&ldquo;While much has been achieved, the humanitarian community remains committed to meet remaining needs,&rdquo; McGoldrick, however, said in the statement. &ldquo;With the winter on the way, we must ensure adequate shelter and food security, particularly for more than 80,000 families.&rdquo;<br />
&ldquo;But present conditions are a concern.&rdquo; Since the end of September, fuel in short supply has impeded progress,&quot; he said.</span></p>

Meanwhile, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) said that it continues to support the government-led efforts to address food security and livelihood needs in the six most-quake hit districts--- Sindhupalchowk, Nuwakot, Dhading, Gorkha, Rasuwa and Dolakha.</span></p>

<p>The country would not face problems from border blockade in the days ahead if it pays attention in agro and hydro sectors, he added.</p>

<p>Stating that no effect has been seen in total deposit and saving of the country so far due to the blockade, Governor Nepal, however, said the impacts would be seen gradually.</p>

<p>According to him, the delay in dismantling such houses is attributed to the festival time and reluctance of the house-owners who often cite the dual ownership of the house of house-owners living abroad.</p>

<p>To dismantle such houses, first the house-owners need to file an application to the KMC. Thereafter a team of KMC goes to the concerned houses for assessment.<br />
KMC is now gearing up to dismantle the quake-ravaged houses in Kalimati, Kalanki and Kuleshower among others places.</p>

<p>Many a times the house owners themselves are found dismantling the quake-damaged houses after KMC grants its permission while some seek KMC&#39;s help for the same and clearing the debris after dismantling, added Sapkota.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, KMC has received 200 applications by the neighbors to dismantle the quake-damaged houses in their neighborhood.</p>

<p>KMC earlier used to receive some 20 requests seeking KMC&#39;s support in dismantling the quake-damaged houses. These days it receives four to five in a week, it was shared. RSS</p>

<p>On the other hand, hatchery entrepreneurs were facing difficulty reaching the eggs and chickens to the traders and consumers due to lack of transport as a result of the fuel shortage, said Hatchery Industry Association Chitwan chair Rishi Poudel.</p>

<p>He shared that they were compelled to bury about 2.2 million chicken on Sunday itself across the country.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size:14px">A statement issued today by Jamie McGoldrick, Humanitarian Coordinator in Nepal, read that six months after the devastating earthquakes that shook Nepal in April, humanitarian partners provided emergency shelter to over 700,000 families, but the effect of the coming harsh cold weather, coupled with the lack of fuel, is a matter of concern to reach out to the needy with aids in remote and Himalaya areas of Nepal.</span></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size:14px">&ldquo;While much has been achieved, the humanitarian community remains committed to meet remaining needs,&rdquo; McGoldrick, however, said in the statement. &ldquo;With the winter on the way, we must ensure adequate shelter and food security, particularly for more than 80,000 families.&rdquo;<br />
&ldquo;But present conditions are a concern.&rdquo; Since the end of September, fuel in short supply has impeded progress,&quot; he said.</span></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size:14px">Meanwhile, the Humanitarian Country Team is urging a quick resolution to the fuel shortage so that winter goods can be quickly delivered to vulnerable households.</span></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size:14px">&quot;This massive logistical undertaking can be achieved. But the lack of fuel is significantly affecting distribution of goods,&quot; McGoldrick said.<br />
Meanwhile, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) said that it continues to support the government-led efforts to address food security and livelihood needs in the six most-quake hit districts--- Sindhupalchowk, Nuwakot, Dhading, Gorkha, Rasuwa and Dolakha.</span></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size:14px">Issuing a press release statement on Sunday, FAO said that six months after the earthquakes, vulnerable farmers in the worst-affected districts still need agricultural inputs to continue the rehabilitation and reconstruction process and revive the agricultural sector.</span></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size:14px">The press release stated that FAO has already completed an emergency distribution of 42,000 5kg bags of rice seed in advance of the monsoon planting season, adding that it has also distributed 30,000 durable grain and seed storage bags, with 40,000 more to follow, and nearly 20,000 25kg bags of high-nutrition animal feed. <em>RSS</em>&nbsp;</span></p>
