According to Cottage and Small Industry Development Committee of Surkhet, the government has forwarded Rs 30 million as he first installment to start construction from this year. This is first 'Micro Industries Village' which will be constructed with partnership of both public and private sectors.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">As per Binod Dev Panta, Director of Cottage and Small Industry Development of Surkhet, the process of constructing 108 well facilitated and earthquake resistant buildings is going to start. He informed that the industry village occupying space of 3.5 bighas of land will have herbal block, mineral and traditional industry and agricultural development offices. Furthermore, there will be investigation centre, day-care centre, playground, auditorium for 500 people at once and five common facility centres in industry village.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">Panta expects that the newly to be opened industry village will provide employment opportunities to many people of that area. "People can do small business by taking shutters in rent.
