Issuing a press statement, the bank informed that the 7<sup>th</sup> edition of the Award, hosted by Employer Branding Institute (EBI), World HRD Congress and other strategic partners and endorsed by Asian Confederation of Businesses was organised on August 4 2016 in Singapore. Bina Rana, Head of HR, Standard Chartered Nepal, received the Award on behalf of the bank.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify">According to the statement, the research on Best Employer Brand in each country was done by a team of independent Asian professionals consisting of post graduates in history & management with over 7 years research experience and judged by senior leaders, researchers and academicians.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify">“The winners were selected on the basis of their exemplary learning & development initiatives, communicating distinctiveness in employee hiring; training and retention practices and continuous innovation,” reads the statement.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify">The bank had won Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2016 from Euromoney and Best Digital Bank Awards 2016 from the Global Finance earlier this year. </p>
