The government that is working to stimulate the closed public enterprises is also planning to revive the closed enterprises of private sector as well. &nbsp;Ministry of Finance has requested entrepreneurs to contact the ministry with an obvious reason of closure of the industries. Organising a press meet on December 12, Nabindra Raj Joshi, Minister of Industry requested entrepreneurs, business person, workers, local people and political party for re-operation of the closed industries.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The Ministry is issuing a public notice in order to collect the details of the non-operational industry on December 14. &nbsp;According to Joshi, the details of industries which have possibilities to re-operate will be submitted to the government after three weeks of publishing notice.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">&nbsp;Joshi said that the companies having possibilities to re-operate will get assistance for legal and procedure ease, physical infrastructure development and market access. &quot;The ministry is forwarding with a plan of generating employment within the country strengthening the economy,&quot; he said.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The private sector can submit application to the Ministry of Industry, Department of Industry or Department of Cottage and Small Industries for the revival of closed industries. The ministry has also facilitated application submission through email. After studying and evaluating the proposals, the Ministry will ease the process of re-operation.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">According to the Ministry, thousands of private industries are closed due to various reasons including disruption from locals, political interference and non-cooperation of the government. &nbsp;&nbsp;The&nbsp; applicants requires to mention details such as reason of closure, present condition of industry (financial, operational, capacity), &nbsp;condition of infrastructure, condition before closure, possibilities for revitalization and the needed government support to the Ministry. &nbsp;Industrial Minister Joshi has put forward an ambitious plan of generating 50,000 employments within a country in a year.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Meanwhile, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal on the same day directed MoE and related bodies to function on result oriented basis for the control of electricity leakage. According to the statistics of Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), currently there is more than 25 percent of electricity leakage in the country equaling the installed capacity of 250MW. Thus, the PM also directed to control the massive electricity leakage.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The PM addressing the joint meeting of Minister of Energy including Secretary of MoE and Ministry of Home Affairs at Office of Prime Minister and Ministry of Council directed the related bodies about the energy leakage. &ldquo;Though all 25 percent leakage cannot be controlled, at least 10 percent leakage should be controlled within few months,&rdquo; said PM Dahal.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">In the same way, &lsquo;A&rsquo; grade dry cherry coffee cost Rs 140 and &lsquo;B&rsquo; grade coffee cost Rs 100 per kilograms. Also, &lsquo;C&rsquo; grade dry cherry coffee cost Rs 40 per kg.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Currently, 41 districts of mid-hill regions including Kaski, Palpa and Lamjung are producing coffee. As per the statistics, the demand of Nepali coffee in international market is 700 to 800 metric tonnes annually, however, Nepal is only able to supply eight percent of the total demand. The bank&#39;s 13<sup>th</sup> annual general meeting held at Bharatpur on December 9 approved a proposal of bonus share. The AGM also approved BOD&#39;s and auditor&#39;s report.</p>

After the capitalisation of the bonus share, the paid-up capital of the bank will reach Rs 975.8 million. The company is issuing 30 per cent share of the total paid-up capital to the general investors. The company has appointed Sanima Capital as its issue manager to manage the issuance.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Similarly, Himalayan Power Partner got the approval of issuing general shares to the local people of affected area from SEBON on December 9. &nbsp;The company is issuing 8,523,336 units of general shares as per the mandatory policy of issuing 10 per cent of total paid-up capital to the local people of affected area. Global IME Capital is the share registrar for the company.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Likewise, Chyandi Hydropower Company is also issuing general shares to the local people of affected area. The company got the SEBON approval on December 9. The company is also issuing 10 per cent of its total paid-up capital i.e. 2,160,000 units of shares to the local people of affected area. Global IME Capital will be managing the issuance of the company.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The Ministry is issuing a public notice in order to collect the details of the non-operational industry on December 14. &nbsp;According to Joshi, the details of industries which have possibilities to re-operate will be submitted to the government after three weeks of publishing notice.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">&nbsp;Joshi said that the companies having possibilities to re-operate will get assistance for legal and procedure ease, physical infrastructure development and market access. &quot;The ministry is forwarding with a plan of generating employment within the country strengthening the economy,&quot; he said.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The private sector can submit application to the Ministry of Industry, Department of Industry or Department of Cottage and Small Industries for the revival of closed industries. The ministry has also facilitated application submission through email. After studying and evaluating the proposals, the Ministry will ease the process of re-operation.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">According to the Ministry, thousands of private industries are closed due to various reasons including disruption from locals, political interference and non-cooperation of the government. &nbsp;&nbsp;The&nbsp; applicants requires to mention details such as reason of closure, present condition of industry (financial, operational, capacity), &nbsp;condition of infrastructure, condition before closure, possibilities for revitalization and the needed government support to the Ministry. &nbsp;Industrial Minister Joshi has put forward an ambitious plan of generating 50,000 employments within a country in a year.</p>

According to the statistics of Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), currently there is more than 25 percent of electricity leakage in the country equaling the installed capacity of 250MW. Thus, the PM also directed to control the massive electricity leakage.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The PM addressing the joint meeting of Minister of Energy including Secretary of MoE and Ministry of Home Affairs at Office of Prime Minister and Ministry of Council directed the related bodies about the energy leakage. &ldquo;Though all 25 percent leakage cannot be controlled, at least 10 percent leakage should be controlled within few months,&rdquo; said PM Dahal.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">According to the NTCBD, organic proved &lsquo;A&rsquo; grade fresh cheery coffee is priced Rs 83 per kilogram while &lsquo;B&rsquo; grade coffee cost Rs 78 per kilogram. Similarly, processed and 12 percent moist &lsquo;A&rsquo; grade parchment coffee has been priced Rs 415 per kilogram. Likewise, &lsquo;B&rsquo; graded parchment coffee cost Rs 400 per kilogram.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">In the same way, &lsquo;A&rsquo; grade dry cherry coffee cost Rs 140 and &lsquo;B&rsquo; grade coffee cost Rs 100 per kilograms. Also, &lsquo;C&rsquo; grade dry cherry coffee cost Rs 40 per kg.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Currently, 41 districts of mid-hill regions including Kaski, Palpa and Lamjung are producing coffee. As per the statistics, the demand of Nepali coffee in international market is 700 to 800 metric tonnes annually, however, Nepal is only able to supply eight percent of the total demand. Nepal is producing around 500 metric tonnes of coffee annually.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</p>

The company is issuing 30 per cent share of the total paid-up capital to the general investors. The company has appointed Sanima Capital as its issue manager to manage the issuance.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Similarly, Himalayan Power Partner got the approval of issuing general shares to the local people of affected area from SEBON on December 9. &nbsp;The company is issuing 8,523,336 units of general shares as per the mandatory policy of issuing 10 per cent of total paid-up capital to the local people of affected area. Global IME Capital is the share registrar for the company.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Likewise, Chyandi Hydropower Company is also issuing general shares to the local people of affected area. The company got the SEBON approval on December 9. The company is also issuing 10 per cent of its total paid-up capital i.e. 2,160,000 units of shares to the local people of affected area. Global IME Capital will be managing the issuance of the company.</p>

Organising a press meet on December 12, Nabindra Raj Joshi, Minister of Industry requested entrepreneurs, business person, workers, local people and political party for re-operation of the closed industries.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The Ministry is issuing a public notice in order to collect the details of the non-operational industry on December 14. &nbsp;According to Joshi, the details of industries which have possibilities to re-operate will be submitted to the government after three weeks of publishing notice.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">&nbsp;Joshi said that the companies having possibilities to re-operate will get assistance for legal and procedure ease, physical infrastructure development and market access. &quot;The ministry is forwarding with a plan of generating employment within the country strengthening the economy,&quot; he said.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The private sector can submit application to the Ministry of Industry, Department of Industry or Department of Cottage and Small Industries for the revival of closed industries. The ministry has also facilitated application submission through email. After studying and evaluating the proposals, the Ministry will ease the process of re-operation.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">According to the Ministry, thousands of private industries are closed due to various reasons including disruption from locals, political interference and non-cooperation of the government. &nbsp;&nbsp;The&nbsp; applicants requires to mention details such as reason of closure, present condition of industry (financial, operational, capacity), &nbsp;condition of infrastructure, condition before closure, possibilities for revitalization and the needed government support to the Ministry. &nbsp;Industrial Minister Joshi has put forward an ambitious plan of generating 50,000 employments within a country in a year.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">&nbsp;Joshi said that the companies having possibilities to re-operate will get assistance for legal and procedure ease, physical infrastructure development and market access. &quot;The ministry is forwarding with a plan of generating employment within the country strengthening the economy,&quot; he said.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The private sector can submit application to the Ministry of Industry, Department of Industry or Department of Cottage and Small Industries for the revival of closed industries. The ministry has also facilitated application submission through email. After studying and evaluating the proposals, the Ministry will ease the process of re-operation.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">According to the Ministry, thousands of private industries are closed due to various reasons including disruption from locals, political interference and non-cooperation of the government. &nbsp;&nbsp;The&nbsp; applicants requires to mention details such as reason of closure, present condition of industry (financial, operational, capacity), &nbsp;condition of infrastructure, condition before closure, possibilities for revitalization and the needed government support to the Ministry. &nbsp;Industrial Minister Joshi has put forward an ambitious plan of generating 50,000 employments within a country in a year.</p>

Thus, the PM also directed to control the massive electricity leakage.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The PM addressing the joint meeting of Minister of Energy including Secretary of MoE and Ministry of Home Affairs at Office of Prime Minister and Ministry of Council directed the related bodies about the energy leakage. &ldquo;Though all 25 percent leakage cannot be controlled, at least 10 percent leakage should be controlled within few months,&rdquo; said PM Dahal.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">According to Lamichanne, the government had set a maximum and minimum airfare for internal airways companies on 2010. Till date, the airfare was fixed on the basis of the same directive. However, the airways operators were demanding a raise in airfare since last one year. Accordingly, the board of directors meeting of Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal held on December 9 has decided to increase the airfare, informed a source.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">&quot;The airfare should also be raised as per the increased rate of inflation and due to the rise in tool, equipment, maintenance, employees&#39; facility and other various expenses. However, taking NRB&#39;s statistics on inflation as a base, the decided raise is way too low,&quot; said Lamichhane.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">In the same way, &lsquo;A&rsquo; grade dry cherry coffee cost Rs 140 and &lsquo;B&rsquo; grade coffee cost Rs 100 per kilograms. Also, &lsquo;C&rsquo; grade dry cherry coffee cost Rs 40 per kg.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Currently, 41 districts of mid-hill regions including Kaski, Palpa and Lamjung are producing coffee. As per the statistics, the demand of Nepali coffee in international market is 700 to 800 metric tonnes annually, however, Nepal is only able to supply eight percent of the total demand.
