<p style="text-align: justify;">The cable TV service providers will not get necessary television signals after the given deadline. The government has amended the National Broadcasting Regulations and has published a notice in this regard in the Nepal Gazette, a month ago.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">According to Ram Chandra Dhakal, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Information and Communications (MoIC), the cable TV providers which were supposed to go digital by April last year delayed the process due to the earthquake and Terai unrest.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">&ldquo;The failure to import necessary equipment on time also obstructed to go for the digital technology,&rdquo; he informed. &ldquo;We have given time to cable TV broadcasters of metropolitan and sub-metropolitan cities of Kathmandu till coming mid-May for the purpose.&rdquo;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">In the given deadline, the cable operators of Kathmandu Metropolis, and Lalitpur, Biratnagar, Birgunj and Pokhara sub-metropolitan cities should go for digital technology. As per the amended regulation, the digital system will be implemented in the remaining sub-metropolises and municipalities by November 1, 2017 and within the whole country till the end of April, 2018.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The government had already stopped giving licenses for operating analog cable TV service since mid-May, 2013 in metropolises and sub-metropolises and within the whole country since mid-May, 2015.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Sudhir Parajuli, President of the Nepal Cable Television Association said that they are ready to shift the cable TV into the digital system. &ldquo;However, there is a need of awareness among the customers as well,&rdquo; he added.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Parajuli claims that most of the cable service providers in Kathmandu valley have already shifted to digital system. &ldquo;Though we have shifted to digital system, only 25 percent of the customers have installed digital cable till now,&rdquo; he informed.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">According to him, if 80 percent of the customers do not go for digital cable before coming mid-May, they will not be able to watch TV channels for a brief period.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The government had decided to change from analog to digital system through the sixth amendment of the regulations in 2012.</p>

However, the price of other petroleum products remains same. NAC was incurring losses due to the raise in petroleum products&#39; price in international market. The company anticipated Rs 146.2 million losses during the last month. NAC slipped to losses due to losses on diesel and LPG. The price of raw oil in the international market has reached USD 55 per barrel.&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The project was started without bank investment due to which it was halted by Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA). But now, after completing all the legal procedure, the project is being forwarded. The promoter of the project Beni Hydro will invest 30 per cent of the total investment projected of Rs 3.27 billion while the remaining investment of 70 per cent amounted to Rs 2.20 billion will be made by the banks.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The project is resided at Beni, ward no 4 of Dudhkunda Municipality of Solukhumbu District. The generated electricity will be connected to the Nepal Electricity Authority (NAC) substation in Lamane by constructing 11KM long 132 KVA transmission line. The project developers expect of easy passage to the electricity generated due to the under construction transmission line in Solu Corridor.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The project which was halted during the construction process has already concluded the initial environment assessment (IEA) and power purchase agreement (PPA).&nbsp; The developer expects to conclude the project within January 15, 2020.&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The cable TV service providers will not get necessary television signals after the given deadline. The government has amended the National Broadcasting Regulations and has published a notice in this regard in the Nepal Gazette, a month ago.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">According to Ram Chandra Dhakal, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Information and Communications (MoIC), the cable TV providers which were supposed to go digital by April last year delayed the process due to the earthquake and Terai unrest.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">&ldquo;The failure to import necessary equipment on time also obstructed to go for the digital technology,&rdquo; he informed. &ldquo;We have given time to cable TV broadcasters of metropolitan and sub-metropolitan cities of Kathmandu till coming mid-May for the purpose.&rdquo;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">In the given deadline, the cable operators of Kathmandu Metropolis, and Lalitpur, Biratnagar, Birgunj and Pokhara sub-metropolitan cities should go for digital technology. As per the amended regulation, the digital system will be implemented in the remaining sub-metropolises and municipalities by November 1, 2017 and within the whole country till the end of April, 2018.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The government had already stopped giving licenses for operating analog cable TV service since mid-May, 2013 in metropolises and sub-metropolises and within the whole country since mid-May, 2015.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Sudhir Parajuli, President of the Nepal Cable Television Association said that they are ready to shift the cable TV into the digital system. &ldquo;However, there is a need of awareness among the customers as well,&rdquo; he added.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Parajuli claims that most of the cable service providers in Kathmandu valley have already shifted to digital system. &ldquo;Though we have shifted to digital system, only 25 percent of the customers have installed digital cable till now,&rdquo; he informed.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">According to him, if 80 percent of the customers do not go for digital cable before coming mid-May, they will not be able to watch TV channels for a brief period.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The government had decided to change from analog to digital system through the sixth amendment of the regulations in 2012.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The project was started without bank investment due to which it was halted by Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA). But now, after completing all the legal procedure, the project is being forwarded. The promoter of the project Beni Hydro will invest 30 per cent of the total investment projected of Rs 3.27 billion while the remaining investment of 70 per cent amounted to Rs 2.20 billion will be made by the banks.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The project is resided at Beni, ward no 4 of Dudhkunda Municipality of Solukhumbu District. The generated electricity will be connected to the Nepal Electricity Authority (NAC) substation in Lamane by constructing 11KM long 132 KVA transmission line. The project developers expect of easy passage to the electricity generated due to the under construction transmission line in Solu Corridor.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The project which was halted during the construction process has already concluded the initial environment assessment (IEA) and power purchase agreement (PPA).&nbsp; The developer expects to conclude the project within January 15, 2020.&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The cable TV service providers will not get necessary television signals after the given deadline. The government has amended the National Broadcasting Regulations and has published a notice in this regard in the Nepal Gazette, a month ago.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">According to Ram Chandra Dhakal, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Information and Communications (MoIC), the cable TV providers which were supposed to go digital by April last year delayed the process due to the earthquake and Terai unrest.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">&ldquo;The failure to import necessary equipment on time also obstructed to go for the digital technology,&rdquo; he informed. &ldquo;We have given time to cable TV broadcasters of metropolitan and sub-metropolitan cities of Kathmandu till coming mid-May for the purpose.&rdquo;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">In the given deadline, the cable operators of Kathmandu Metropolis, and Lalitpur, Biratnagar, Birgunj and Pokhara sub-metropolitan cities should go for digital technology. As per the amended regulation, the digital system will be implemented in the remaining sub-metropolises and municipalities by November 1, 2017 and within the whole country till the end of April, 2018.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The government had already stopped giving licenses for operating analog cable TV service since mid-May, 2013 in metropolises and sub-metropolises and within the whole country since mid-May, 2015.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Sudhir Parajuli, President of the Nepal Cable Television Association said that they are ready to shift the cable TV into the digital system. &ldquo;However, there is a need of awareness among the customers as well,&rdquo; he added.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Parajuli claims that most of the cable service providers in Kathmandu valley have already shifted to digital system. &ldquo;Though we have shifted to digital system, only 25 percent of the customers have installed digital cable till now,&rdquo; he informed.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">According to him, if 80 percent of the customers do not go for digital cable before coming mid-May, they will not be able to watch TV channels for a brief period.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The government had decided to change from analog to digital system through the sixth amendment of the regulations in 2012.</p>

Issuing a press statement the company said that the new Skoda car incorporates crystalline design, has enhanced performance and a range of &lsquo;simply clever&rsquo; solutions.</p>

<p>As per the company, the car is available in two engine variants of 1.6L MPI petrol and the new 1.5L TDI diesel. &ldquo;In addition, the new &Scaron;koda Rapid features efficient and dynamic seven- speed DSG gearbox with Tiptronics mated to the 1.5 TDI diesel engine,&rdquo; reads the statement. Similarly, the car comes with new Quartz-cut Projector Lens headlights with chrome eye lashes and LED day running lights. According to the statement, the new &Scaron;koda Rapid has plush dual-tone ebony-sand interiors complemented with perforated leatherette upholstery. Likewise, it is equipped with the new &lsquo;Drive&rsquo; Central Infotainment System with a 6.5 inch color touchscreen and Mirror Link technology. Other features include electrically foldable mirrors, Climatronic Technology and rain sensing wipers and cruise control, dual airbags, ABS, ESC and Hill Hold Control. Meanwhile, the car has a 460 liter boot space.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Unveiling the car Vishnu Kumar Agarwal, Managing Director of MAW Enterprises said, &#39;The new &Scaron;koda Rapid meets the demand of Nepali sedan enthusiasts.&rdquo;</p>

<p>Informing about the features of the car, Suraj Manadhar, Chief General Manager of MAW said, &ldquo;The New Skoda Rapid is a family car, compact enough for the city and spacious enough for longer trips.&rdquo;</p>

<p>The car which is available three variants of Active, Ambition and Style comes in six color options of Brilliant Silver, Candy White, Cappuccino Beige, CarbonSteel, Silk Blue and Flash Red. &ldquo;The new Rapid will be available across all authorised &Scaron;koda showrooms in the country,&rdquo; informs the statement.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The project is resided at Beni, ward no 4 of Dudhkunda Municipality of Solukhumbu District. The generated electricity will be connected to the Nepal Electricity Authority (NAC) substation in Lamane by constructing 11KM long 132 KVA transmission line. The project developers expect of easy passage to the electricity generated due to the under construction transmission line in Solu Corridor.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The project which was halted during the construction process has already concluded the initial environment assessment (IEA) and power purchase agreement (PPA).&nbsp; The developer expects to conclude the project within January 15, 2020.&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The cable TV service providers will not get necessary television signals after the given deadline. The government has amended the National Broadcasting Regulations and has published a notice in this regard in the Nepal Gazette, a month ago.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">According to Ram Chandra Dhakal, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Information and Communications (MoIC), the cable TV providers which were supposed to go digital by April last year delayed the process due to the earthquake and Terai unrest.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">&ldquo;The failure to import necessary equipment on time also obstructed to go for the digital technology,&rdquo; he informed. &ldquo;We have given time to cable TV broadcasters of metropolitan and sub-metropolitan cities of Kathmandu till coming mid-May for the purpose.&rdquo;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">In the given deadline, the cable operators of Kathmandu Metropolis, and Lalitpur, Biratnagar, Birgunj and Pokhara sub-metropolitan cities should go for digital technology. As per the amended regulation, the digital system will be implemented in the remaining sub-metropolises and municipalities by November 1, 2017 and within the whole country till the end of April, 2018.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The government had already stopped giving licenses for operating analog cable TV service since mid-May, 2013 in metropolises and sub-metropolises and within the whole country since mid-May, 2015.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Sudhir Parajuli, President of the Nepal Cable Television Association said that they are ready to shift the cable TV into the digital system. &ldquo;However, there is a need of awareness among the customers as well,&rdquo; he added.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Parajuli claims that most of the cable service providers in Kathmandu valley have already shifted to digital system. &ldquo;Though we have shifted to digital system, only 25 percent of the customers have installed digital cable till now,&rdquo; he informed.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">According to him, if 80 percent of the customers do not go for digital cable before coming mid-May, they will not be able to watch TV channels for a brief period.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The government had decided to change from analog to digital system through the sixth amendment of the regulations in 2012.</p>

Other features include electrically foldable mirrors, Climatronic Technology and rain sensing wipers and cruise control, dual airbags, ABS, ESC and Hill Hold Control. Meanwhile, the car has a 460 liter boot space.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Unveiling the car Vishnu Kumar Agarwal, Managing Director of MAW Enterprises said, &#39;The new &Scaron;koda Rapid meets the demand of Nepali sedan enthusiasts.&rdquo;</p>

<p>Informing about the features of the car, Suraj Manadhar, Chief General Manager of MAW said, &ldquo;The New Skoda Rapid is a family car, compact enough for the city and spacious enough for longer trips.&rdquo;</p>

The promoter of the project Beni Hydro will invest 30 per cent of the total investment projected of Rs 3.27 billion while the remaining investment of 70 per cent amounted to Rs 2.20 billion will be made by the banks.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The project is resided at Beni, ward no 4 of Dudhkunda Municipality of Solukhumbu District. The generated electricity will be connected to the Nepal Electricity Authority (NAC) substation in Lamane by constructing 11KM long 132 KVA transmission line. The project developers expect of easy passage to the electricity generated due to the under construction transmission line in Solu Corridor.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The project which was halted during the construction process has already concluded the initial environment assessment (IEA) and power purchase agreement (PPA).&nbsp; The developer expects to conclude the project within January 15, 2020.&nbsp;</p>
