			'content' => '<p style="text-align:justify">January 30: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) on behalf of the government is issuing foreign employment saving bonds amounted to Rs 500 million from today till February 28. The &#39;Foreign Employment Bond 2078&#39; with a maturity period of 5 years is targeted at Nepalis working aboard and non-resident Nepalis.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">NRB said that the distribution of saving bonds will take place on March 6. The bank informed that the principle amount will be return on 7 March 2022 with interest and the 10 per cent interest including interest tax will be paid semi-annually.&nbsp; According to the bank, the bonds can be used as collateral to obtain loan from BFIs.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The saving bonds are floated with an objective of encouraging savings culture among Nepalis working abroad and pool their resources for country&rsquo;s development. Interested parties can apply for minimum of Rs 5000 and maximum of the amount divisible by Rs 5000. The saving bonds can be purchased by overseas migrant workers and those who returned home from foreign employment less than four months ago in the name of own-self or family members including father, mother, husband, wife, son and daughter.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">NRB has appointed 13 internal sales agents including &nbsp;Citizens Bank (Kamaladi), NMB (Babarmahal), Nabil (Tindhara), Durbarmarg, Machhapuchchhre (Lazimpat), Prabhu (Anamnagar), Sunrise (Gairedhara), Siddhartha (Hattisar), Sanima (Naxal), Century Commercial (Putalisadak), Prabhu Money Transfer (Lainchaur), City Express Money Transfer (Kamaladi), IME(Panipokhari), and Sewa Remit (Kuleshwor) to sell the saving bonds.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Externally, NRB has appointed sales agents in eight different foreign employment destinations including Qatar, Malaysia, America, India, Saudi Arab, UAE, Japan, Korea, Bahrain, Australia and UK.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">On the occasion of its 26<sup>th</sup> anniversary, the company informed that DJPL will be fulfilling the aim by utilizing 30 percent of its reserve production capacity.&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Established in 1988, the company started its production from 1991. Currently, DJPL is only utilizing its 70 percent of the total capacity, and producing around 300 types of medicines. The produced medicines are in the form of liquid, tablets, capsules, dry powder and ointment.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Certified with good manufacturing practice (GMP) by the World Health Organization (WHO), Deurali-Janata has also received international organization standardization certificates - ISO 14001 and 9001. Located at Dhapasi in Kathmandu, the company is providing employment to more than 400 people. Till date, more than Rs 1.20 billion has been invested in the industry.&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">President of the Nepali Congress and chief guest of the programme, Sher Bahadur Deuba felicitated the staffs who had served from 20 to 25 years in the company with the long-term service awards. Similarly, Durga Upadhyay, Chairman of DJPL awarded service medals to the staffs who had completed 10 to 15 years of service in the company.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Speaking at the programme, Deuba said that it was the responsibility of the state to encourage domestic industries. &ldquo;Although the pharma industries are fulfilling the domestic demands, mass production is necessary for export,&rdquo; he pointed out.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">He added that foreign companies have a mass production and can sell it at affordable prices. &ldquo;Due to low production, we have problems in export and that we also need to make our products qualitative.&rdquo;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Hari Bhakta Sharma, Director of DJPL opined that if the government provides favorable environment, Nepali pharma industry can expand its reach to the international market as well. He also drew the attention of the concerned bodies to help end the import of foreign medicines and to make industry-friendly policy.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Likewise, Director General of the Department of Drug Administration (DDA) Narayan Prasad Dhakal said that the Department was always positive for the development and expansion of Nepali pharma industry.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">&ldquo;A committee has been formed on the direction of the health minister for export promotion of Nepali pharmaceutical products,&rdquo; he informed.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">With the government encouraging production of electricity from different resources other than hydro power, investors are attracted towards it. Most of them are attracted towards solar energy.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">According to latest statistics, the number of solar energy producing companies on the process has so far reached 29. The total producing capacity of these companies will be 160.9 MW.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">&ldquo;Among the companies receiving licenses to produce solar energy is Bishnupriya Solar Firm (1 MW), located at Nawalparasi,&rdquo; informs Baburaj Adhikari, Information Officer of the Department of Electricity Development.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Similarly, 18 companies have got licenses for survey and nine companies have submitted applications for survey.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Wind energy is another attraction after solar energy. However, there is less number of investors interested to invest in wind energy. Until now, only four companies have asked for survey license for it. The total electricity production of these companies will be 14 MW.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Among them, a company has already got license for production of 5 MW of wind energy. Meanwhile, three other wind energy companies of a total of 9 MW have submitted applications for survey license.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Likewise, in bio-mass energy, among the three companies applying for survey, two companies have already received the licenses. The capacity of the two bio-mass companies is 25.9 MW.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The government had aimed at producing 100 MW from solar and wind energy as an alternative energy within one year of the start of the action plan, until March, 2017. However, till now, not a single megawatt of electricity has been produced from these alternative resources.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The government had forwarded the energy mix concept in view of the energy crisis in the future to be faced while emphasizing only on water resources, but investors could not be attracted citing high cost and low generation capacity. There is a situation that the only achievement in alternative energy in one year was the license of solar energy received by a company in Nawalparasi district.&nbsp;</p>

The &#39;Foreign Employment Bond 2078&#39; with a maturity period of 5 years is targeted at Nepalis working aboard and non-resident Nepalis.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">NRB said that the distribution of saving bonds will take place on March 6. The bank informed that the principle amount will be return on 7 March 2022 with interest and the 10 per cent interest including interest tax will be paid semi-annually.&nbsp; According to the bank, the bonds can be used as collateral to obtain loan from BFIs.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The saving bonds are floated with an objective of encouraging savings culture among Nepalis working abroad and pool their resources for country&rsquo;s development. Interested parties can apply for minimum of Rs 5000 and maximum of the amount divisible by Rs 5000. The saving bonds can be purchased by overseas migrant workers and those who returned home from foreign employment less than four months ago in the name of own-self or family members including father, mother, husband, wife, son and daughter.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">NRB has appointed 13 internal sales agents including &nbsp;Citizens Bank (Kamaladi), NMB (Babarmahal), Nabil (Tindhara), Durbarmarg, Machhapuchchhre (Lazimpat), Prabhu (Anamnagar), Sunrise (Gairedhara), Siddhartha (Hattisar), Sanima (Naxal), Century Commercial (Putalisadak), Prabhu Money Transfer (Lainchaur), City Express Money Transfer (Kamaladi), IME(Panipokhari), and Sewa Remit (Kuleshwor) to sell the saving bonds.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Externally, NRB has appointed sales agents in eight different foreign employment destinations including Qatar, Malaysia, America, India, Saudi Arab, UAE, Japan, Korea, Bahrain, Australia and UK.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">On the occasion of its 26<sup>th</sup> anniversary, the company informed that DJPL will be fulfilling the aim by utilizing 30 percent of its reserve production capacity.&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Established in 1988, the company started its production from 1991. Currently, DJPL is only utilizing its 70 percent of the total capacity, and producing around 300 types of medicines. The produced medicines are in the form of liquid, tablets, capsules, dry powder and ointment.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Certified with good manufacturing practice (GMP) by the World Health Organization (WHO), Deurali-Janata has also received international organization standardization certificates - ISO 14001 and 9001. Located at Dhapasi in Kathmandu, the company is providing employment to more than 400 people. Till date, more than Rs 1.20 billion has been invested in the industry.&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">President of the Nepali Congress and chief guest of the programme, Sher Bahadur Deuba felicitated the staffs who had served from 20 to 25 years in the company with the long-term service awards. Similarly, Durga Upadhyay, Chairman of DJPL awarded service medals to the staffs who had completed 10 to 15 years of service in the company.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Speaking at the programme, Deuba said that it was the responsibility of the state to encourage domestic industries. &ldquo;Although the pharma industries are fulfilling the domestic demands, mass production is necessary for export,&rdquo; he pointed out.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">He added that foreign companies have a mass production and can sell it at affordable prices. &ldquo;Due to low production, we have problems in export and that we also need to make our products qualitative.&rdquo;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Hari Bhakta Sharma, Director of DJPL opined that if the government provides favorable environment, Nepali pharma industry can expand its reach to the international market as well. He also drew the attention of the concerned bodies to help end the import of foreign medicines and to make industry-friendly policy.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Likewise, Director General of the Department of Drug Administration (DDA) Narayan Prasad Dhakal said that the Department was always positive for the development and expansion of Nepali pharma industry.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">&ldquo;A committee has been formed on the direction of the health minister for export promotion of Nepali pharmaceutical products,&rdquo; he informed.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">According to latest statistics, the number of solar energy producing companies on the process has so far reached 29. The total producing capacity of these companies will be 160.9 MW.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">&ldquo;Among the companies receiving licenses to produce solar energy is Bishnupriya Solar Firm (1 MW), located at Nawalparasi,&rdquo; informs Baburaj Adhikari, Information Officer of the Department of Electricity Development.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Similarly, 18 companies have got licenses for survey and nine companies have submitted applications for survey.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Wind energy is another attraction after solar energy. However, there is less number of investors interested to invest in wind energy. Until now, only four companies have asked for survey license for it. The total electricity production of these companies will be 14 MW.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Among them, a company has already got license for production of 5 MW of wind energy. Meanwhile, three other wind energy companies of a total of 9 MW have submitted applications for survey license.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Likewise, in bio-mass energy, among the three companies applying for survey, two companies have already received the licenses. The capacity of the two bio-mass companies is 25.9 MW.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The government had aimed at producing 100 MW from solar and wind energy as an alternative energy within one year of the start of the action plan, until March, 2017. However, till now, not a single megawatt of electricity has been produced from these alternative resources.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The government had forwarded the energy mix concept in view of the energy crisis in the future to be faced while emphasizing only on water resources, but investors could not be attracted citing high cost and low generation capacity. There is a situation that the only achievement in alternative energy in one year was the license of solar energy received by a company in Nawalparasi district.&nbsp;</p>

The &#39;Foreign Employment Bond 2078&#39; with a maturity period of 5 years is targeted at Nepalis working aboard and non-resident Nepalis.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">NRB said that the distribution of saving bonds will take place on March 6. The bank informed that the principle amount will be return on 7 March 2022 with interest and the 10 per cent interest including interest tax will be paid semi-annually.&nbsp; According to the bank, the bonds can be used as collateral to obtain loan from BFIs.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The saving bonds are floated with an objective of encouraging savings culture among Nepalis working abroad and pool their resources for country&rsquo;s development. Interested parties can apply for minimum of Rs 5000 and maximum of the amount divisible by Rs 5000. The saving bonds can be purchased by overseas migrant workers and those who returned home from foreign employment less than four months ago in the name of own-self or family members including father, mother, husband, wife, son and daughter.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">NRB has appointed 13 internal sales agents including &nbsp;Citizens Bank (Kamaladi), NMB (Babarmahal), Nabil (Tindhara), Durbarmarg, Machhapuchchhre (Lazimpat), Prabhu (Anamnagar), Sunrise (Gairedhara), Siddhartha (Hattisar), Sanima (Naxal), Century Commercial (Putalisadak), Prabhu Money Transfer (Lainchaur), City Express Money Transfer (Kamaladi), IME(Panipokhari), and Sewa Remit (Kuleshwor) to sell the saving bonds.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Externally, NRB has appointed sales agents in eight different foreign employment destinations including Qatar, Malaysia, America, India, Saudi Arab, UAE, Japan, Korea, Bahrain, Australia and UK.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">On the occasion of its 26<sup>th</sup> anniversary, the company informed that DJPL will be fulfilling the aim by utilizing 30 percent of its reserve production capacity.&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Established in 1988, the company started its production from 1991. Currently, DJPL is only utilizing its 70 percent of the total capacity, and producing around 300 types of medicines. The produced medicines are in the form of liquid, tablets, capsules, dry powder and ointment.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Certified with good manufacturing practice (GMP) by the World Health Organization (WHO), Deurali-Janata has also received international organization standardization certificates - ISO 14001 and 9001. Located at Dhapasi in Kathmandu, the company is providing employment to more than 400 people. Till date, more than Rs 1.20 billion has been invested in the industry.&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">President of the Nepali Congress and chief guest of the programme, Sher Bahadur Deuba felicitated the staffs who had served from 20 to 25 years in the company with the long-term service awards. Similarly, Durga Upadhyay, Chairman of DJPL awarded service medals to the staffs who had completed 10 to 15 years of service in the company.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Speaking at the programme, Deuba said that it was the responsibility of the state to encourage domestic industries. &ldquo;Although the pharma industries are fulfilling the domestic demands, mass production is necessary for export,&rdquo; he pointed out.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">He added that foreign companies have a mass production and can sell it at affordable prices. &ldquo;Due to low production, we have problems in export and that we also need to make our products qualitative.&rdquo;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Hari Bhakta Sharma, Director of DJPL opined that if the government provides favorable environment, Nepali pharma industry can expand its reach to the international market as well. He also drew the attention of the concerned bodies to help end the import of foreign medicines and to make industry-friendly policy.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Likewise, Director General of the Department of Drug Administration (DDA) Narayan Prasad Dhakal said that the Department was always positive for the development and expansion of Nepali pharma industry.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">&ldquo;A committee has been formed on the direction of the health minister for export promotion of Nepali pharmaceutical products,&rdquo; he informed.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">With the government encouraging production of electricity from different resources other than hydro power, investors are attracted towards it. Most of them are attracted towards solar energy.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">According to latest statistics, the number of solar energy producing companies on the process has so far reached 29. The total producing capacity of these companies will be 160.9 MW.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">&ldquo;Among the companies receiving licenses to produce solar energy is Bishnupriya Solar Firm (1 MW), located at Nawalparasi,&rdquo; informs Baburaj Adhikari, Information Officer of the Department of Electricity Development.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Similarly, 18 companies have got licenses for survey and nine companies have submitted applications for survey.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Wind energy is another attraction after solar energy. However, there is less number of investors interested to invest in wind energy. Until now, only four companies have asked for survey license for it. The total electricity production of these companies will be 14 MW.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Among them, a company has already got license for production of 5 MW of wind energy. Meanwhile, three other wind energy companies of a total of 9 MW have submitted applications for survey license.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Likewise, in bio-mass energy, among the three companies applying for survey, two companies have already received the licenses. The capacity of the two bio-mass companies is 25.9 MW.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The government had aimed at producing 100 MW from solar and wind energy as an alternative energy within one year of the start of the action plan, until March, 2017. However, till now, not a single megawatt of electricity has been produced from these alternative resources.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The government had forwarded the energy mix concept in view of the energy crisis in the future to be faced while emphasizing only on water resources, but investors could not be attracted citing high cost and low generation capacity. There is a situation that the only achievement in alternative energy in one year was the license of solar energy received by a company in Nawalparasi district.&nbsp;</p>

The &#39;Foreign Employment Bond 2078&#39; with a maturity period of 5 years is targeted at Nepalis working aboard and non-resident Nepalis.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">NRB said that the distribution of saving bonds will take place on March 6. The bank informed that the principle amount will be return on 7 March 2022 with interest and the 10 per cent interest including interest tax will be paid semi-annually.&nbsp; According to the bank, the bonds can be used as collateral to obtain loan from BFIs.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The saving bonds are floated with an objective of encouraging savings culture among Nepalis working abroad and pool their resources for country&rsquo;s development. Interested parties can apply for minimum of Rs 5000 and maximum of the amount divisible by Rs 5000. The saving bonds can be purchased by overseas migrant workers and those who returned home from foreign employment less than four months ago in the name of own-self or family members including father, mother, husband, wife, son and daughter.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">NRB has appointed 13 internal sales agents including &nbsp;Citizens Bank (Kamaladi), NMB (Babarmahal), Nabil (Tindhara), Durbarmarg, Machhapuchchhre (Lazimpat), Prabhu (Anamnagar), Sunrise (Gairedhara), Siddhartha (Hattisar), Sanima (Naxal), Century Commercial (Putalisadak), Prabhu Money Transfer (Lainchaur), City Express Money Transfer (Kamaladi), IME(Panipokhari), and Sewa Remit (Kuleshwor) to sell the saving bonds.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Externally, NRB has appointed sales agents in eight different foreign employment destinations including Qatar, Malaysia, America, India, Saudi Arab, UAE, Japan, Korea, Bahrain, Australia and UK.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">On the occasion of its 26<sup>th</sup> anniversary, the company informed that DJPL will be fulfilling the aim by utilizing 30 percent of its reserve production capacity.&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Established in 1988, the company started its production from 1991. Currently, DJPL is only utilizing its 70 percent of the total capacity, and producing around 300 types of medicines. The produced medicines are in the form of liquid, tablets, capsules, dry powder and ointment.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Certified with good manufacturing practice (GMP) by the World Health Organization (WHO), Deurali-Janata has also received international organization standardization certificates - ISO 14001 and 9001. Located at Dhapasi in Kathmandu, the company is providing employment to more than 400 people. Till date, more than Rs 1.20 billion has been invested in the industry.&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">President of the Nepali Congress and chief guest of the programme, Sher Bahadur Deuba felicitated the staffs who had served from 20 to 25 years in the company with the long-term service awards. Similarly, Durga Upadhyay, Chairman of DJPL awarded service medals to the staffs who had completed 10 to 15 years of service in the company.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Speaking at the programme, Deuba said that it was the responsibility of the state to encourage domestic industries. &ldquo;Although the pharma industries are fulfilling the domestic demands, mass production is necessary for export,&rdquo; he pointed out.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">He added that foreign companies have a mass production and can sell it at affordable prices. &ldquo;Due to low production, we have problems in export and that we also need to make our products qualitative.&rdquo;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Hari Bhakta Sharma, Director of DJPL opined that if the government provides favorable environment, Nepali pharma industry can expand its reach to the international market as well. He also drew the attention of the concerned bodies to help end the import of foreign medicines and to make industry-friendly policy.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Likewise, Director General of the Department of Drug Administration (DDA) Narayan Prasad Dhakal said that the Department was always positive for the development and expansion of Nepali pharma industry.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">&ldquo;A committee has been formed on the direction of the health minister for export promotion of Nepali pharmaceutical products,&rdquo; he informed.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">With the government encouraging production of electricity from different resources other than hydro power, investors are attracted towards it. Most of them are attracted towards solar energy.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">According to latest statistics, the number of solar energy producing companies on the process has so far reached 29. The total producing capacity of these companies will be 160.9 MW.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">&ldquo;Among the companies receiving licenses to produce solar energy is Bishnupriya Solar Firm (1 MW), located at Nawalparasi,&rdquo; informs Baburaj Adhikari, Information Officer of the Department of Electricity Development.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Similarly, 18 companies have got licenses for survey and nine companies have submitted applications for survey.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Wind energy is another attraction after solar energy. However, there is less number of investors interested to invest in wind energy. Until now, only four companies have asked for survey license for it. The total electricity production of these companies will be 14 MW.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Among them, a company has already got license for production of 5 MW of wind energy. Meanwhile, three other wind energy companies of a total of 9 MW have submitted applications for survey license.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Likewise, in bio-mass energy, among the three companies applying for survey, two companies have already received the licenses. The capacity of the two bio-mass companies is 25.9 MW.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The government had aimed at producing 100 MW from solar and wind energy as an alternative energy within one year of the start of the action plan, until March, 2017. However, till now, not a single megawatt of electricity has been produced from these alternative resources.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The government had forwarded the energy mix concept in view of the energy crisis in the future to be faced while emphasizing only on water resources, but investors could not be attracted citing high cost and low generation capacity. There is a situation that the only achievement in alternative energy in one year was the license of solar energy received by a company in Nawalparasi district.&nbsp;</p>
