<p style="text-align: justify;">According to Laxmi Narayan Mukhiya, Project Manager of the Kushaha-Kataiya Cross-Border Transmission Line, which was completed a week before, the line is prepared for charge in two weeks.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The transmission line is an international transmission line between Nepal and India in the eastern part of Nepal. Currently, the transmission line is used for importing electricity from India. However, it is also planned to export electricity to India from the same line in the future.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The transmission line was constructed with the grant of Indian government. Likewise, Nepal has invested for tower construction and land used under the line. According to Mukhiya, the compensation amount will amount to Rs 50 million. Of the total 15 kilometers of transmission line, 12 kilometers falls in Nepalese territory.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The towers which have a capacity for double circuit has only single circuit installed at present. &nbsp;Some 70 to 75 MW of electricity can be supplied through single circuit line. As per the Nepal- India agreement, additional 50 MW of electricity will be transmitted from the line at present. Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has said that the imported electricity will be used to end the power cut problem faced in eastern Nepal.&nbsp; &nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Floriculture Association Nepal (FAN) informed that the roses worth that amount will be produced domestically or imported from India. It&rsquo;s been a trend to celebrate the day which is popularly celebrated in western countries, and due to this, the sales of related materials takes place in Nepali market.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">As the day February 14 nears, the demand of red roses goes high. FAN expects a sale of 200,000 sticks of roses on this year Valentine&rsquo;s day. According to Kumar Kasaju Shrestha, President of FAN, a total of 100,000 sticks of red roses worth Rs five million are being imported from India. Shrestha informed that the remaining 100,000 sticks of roses are produced in the country.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The Association said that flowers are imported from India as well as other countries as the domestic production is not sufficient to meet the local demand. FAN informed that Nepal is importing different types of flowers amounting to Rs 100 million.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Though the production of flowers is increasing by 10 to 15 percent annually, 15 to 20 percent of total demand is fulfilled through import. Due to only seasonal market for flowers in Nepal, flower entrepreneurs are scared for producing more locally.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">It has also been assumed that the consumption of 40 percent of roses is in Kathmandu alone. Similarly, the consumption of the remaining 60 percent roses is in Pokhara, Dharan, Biratnagar, Chitwan and other major cities of Nepal.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Though the flower entrepreneurs are increasing, Nepal has not been self-reliant in flower production. &ldquo;High investment needed for land, high wages of workers and lack of irrigation facility, are the major problems of floriculture,&rdquo; mentioned Shrestha.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">According to Shrestha, due to the high investment cost, the price of flower also rises automatically and this is why floriculture entrepreneurs focus only on import of flowers.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The association has determined the price of roses from minimum of Rs 40 to maximum Rs 100. The price has been determined according to the quality of roses.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">On Valentine&rsquo;s Day, the price of roses is predicted to be between Rs 60 to 70 per stick. The association says that the price of rose reduces with the import of flower from India, thereby helping control its price.</p>

If interest rates for old loans are increased, investment environment will be hampered resulting closure of businesses as well.&quot; The banks are providing 12 percent interest rate in short-term deposits as well. As the part of more interest provided deposit is low, the cost is also low. However, the banks are increasing interest rate of all types of loans. CNI opined that the BFIs should not be overcharging the interest rate exceeding the limit of spread rate &nbsp;set by NRB.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">According to the confederation, the step will hamper big industrial projects requiring huge capital and contract employment opportunities resulting low gross domestic product. &nbsp;The CNI demands appropriate move from government, NRB and other stakeholders to overcome the condition.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Xiao Jancy, Vice President of Avic International, Aviation Company of China handed over the aircrafts to Sugat Ratna Kansakar, General Manager of NAC in a program. The program was also attended by Jivan Bahadur Shahi, Minister of Culture, Tourism and Aviation and Yu Hong, Chinese Ambassador for Nepal. The program also saw an agreement finalised regarding the aircrafts which was signed by kansakar and Subo, Aero Development Vice President of Avic International.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">According to Laxmi Narayan Mukhiya, Project Manager of the Kushaha-Kataiya Cross-Border Transmission Line, which was completed a week before, the line is prepared for charge in two weeks.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The transmission line is an international transmission line between Nepal and India in the eastern part of Nepal. Currently, the transmission line is used for importing electricity from India. However, it is also planned to export electricity to India from the same line in the future.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The transmission line was constructed with the grant of Indian government. Likewise, Nepal has invested for tower construction and land used under the line. According to Mukhiya, the compensation amount will amount to Rs 50 million. Of the total 15 kilometers of transmission line, 12 kilometers falls in Nepalese territory.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The towers which have a capacity for double circuit has only single circuit installed at present. &nbsp;Some 70 to 75 MW of electricity can be supplied through single circuit line. As per the Nepal- India agreement, additional 50 MW of electricity will be transmitted from the line at present. Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has said that the imported electricity will be used to end the power cut problem faced in eastern Nepal.&nbsp; &nbsp;</p>

With the launch of Facebook Free, a &lsquo;Go to Free&rsquo; button will appear on top right corner of Facebook page by default, clicking to which Ncell customers will be able to browse the free version of Facebook.</p>

Customers can switch to paid version which is just a click away by pressing &lsquo;See Photos&rsquo; option that is seen in the top right corner of Facebook page, which they are browsing. Customers will also be notified if they want to switch from free to the paid version of the Facebook application,&quot; reads the statement.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">To enable customers view others photos and videos at more affordable rate in paid version, customers will be able to buy data packs as per their requirements from the Facebook page. They can also buy data packs by dialing *123# and following instruction.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Floriculture Association Nepal (FAN) informed that the roses worth that amount will be produced domestically or imported from India. It&rsquo;s been a trend to celebrate the day which is popularly celebrated in western countries, and due to this, the sales of related materials takes place in Nepali market.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">As the day February 14 nears, the demand of red roses goes high. FAN expects a sale of 200,000 sticks of roses on this year Valentine&rsquo;s day. According to Kumar Kasaju Shrestha, President of FAN, a total of 100,000 sticks of red roses worth Rs five million are being imported from India. Shrestha informed that the remaining 100,000 sticks of roses are produced in the country.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The Association said that flowers are imported from India as well as other countries as the domestic production is not sufficient to meet the local demand. FAN informed that Nepal is importing different types of flowers amounting to Rs 100 million.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Though the production of flowers is increasing by 10 to 15 percent annually, 15 to 20 percent of total demand is fulfilled through import. Due to only seasonal market for flowers in Nepal, flower entrepreneurs are scared for producing more locally.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">It has also been assumed that the consumption of 40 percent of roses is in Kathmandu alone. Similarly, the consumption of the remaining 60 percent roses is in Pokhara, Dharan, Biratnagar, Chitwan and other major cities of Nepal.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Though the flower entrepreneurs are increasing, Nepal has not been self-reliant in flower production. &ldquo;High investment needed for land, high wages of workers and lack of irrigation facility, are the major problems of floriculture,&rdquo; mentioned Shrestha.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">According to Shrestha, due to the high investment cost, the price of flower also rises automatically and this is why floriculture entrepreneurs focus only on import of flowers.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The association has determined the price of roses from minimum of Rs 40 to maximum Rs 100. The price has been determined according to the quality of roses.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">On Valentine&rsquo;s Day, the price of roses is predicted to be between Rs 60 to 70 per stick. The association says that the price of rose reduces with the import of flower from India, thereby helping control its price.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">According to Laxmi Narayan Mukhiya, Project Manager of the Kushaha-Kataiya Cross-Border Transmission Line, which was completed a week before, the line is prepared for charge in two weeks.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The transmission line is an international transmission line between Nepal and India in the eastern part of Nepal. Currently, the transmission line is used for importing electricity from India. However, it is also planned to export electricity to India from the same line in the future.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The transmission line was constructed with the grant of Indian government. Likewise, Nepal has invested for tower construction and land used under the line. According to Mukhiya, the compensation amount will amount to Rs 50 million. Of the total 15 kilometers of transmission line, 12 kilometers falls in Nepalese territory.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The towers which have a capacity for double circuit has only single circuit installed at present. &nbsp;Some 70 to 75 MW of electricity can be supplied through single circuit line. As per the Nepal- India agreement, additional 50 MW of electricity will be transmitted from the line at present. Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has said that the imported electricity will be used to end the power cut problem faced in eastern Nepal.&nbsp; &nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Floriculture Association Nepal (FAN) informed that the roses worth that amount will be produced domestically or imported from India. It&rsquo;s been a trend to celebrate the day which is popularly celebrated in western countries, and due to this, the sales of related materials takes place in Nepali market.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">As the day February 14 nears, the demand of red roses goes high. FAN expects a sale of 200,000 sticks of roses on this year Valentine&rsquo;s day. According to Kumar Kasaju Shrestha, President of FAN, a total of 100,000 sticks of red roses worth Rs five million are being imported from India. Shrestha informed that the remaining 100,000 sticks of roses are produced in the country.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The Association said that flowers are imported from India as well as other countries as the domestic production is not sufficient to meet the local demand. FAN informed that Nepal is importing different types of flowers amounting to Rs 100 million.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Though the production of flowers is increasing by 10 to 15 percent annually, 15 to 20 percent of total demand is fulfilled through import. Due to only seasonal market for flowers in Nepal, flower entrepreneurs are scared for producing more locally.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">It has also been assumed that the consumption of 40 percent of roses is in Kathmandu alone. Similarly, the consumption of the remaining 60 percent roses is in Pokhara, Dharan, Biratnagar, Chitwan and other major cities of Nepal.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Though the flower entrepreneurs are increasing, Nepal has not been self-reliant in flower production. &ldquo;High investment needed for land, high wages of workers and lack of irrigation facility, are the major problems of floriculture,&rdquo; mentioned Shrestha.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">According to Shrestha, due to the high investment cost, the price of flower also rises automatically and this is why floriculture entrepreneurs focus only on import of flowers.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The association has determined the price of roses from minimum of Rs 40 to maximum Rs 100. The price has been determined according to the quality of roses.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">On Valentine&rsquo;s Day, the price of roses is predicted to be between Rs 60 to 70 per stick. The association says that the price of rose reduces with the import of flower from India, thereby helping control its price.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">According to Laxmi Narayan Mukhiya, Project Manager of the Kushaha-Kataiya Cross-Border Transmission Line, which was completed a week before, the line is prepared for charge in two weeks.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The transmission line is an international transmission line between Nepal and India in the eastern part of Nepal. Currently, the transmission line is used for importing electricity from India. However, it is also planned to export electricity to India from the same line in the future.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The transmission line was constructed with the grant of Indian government. Likewise, Nepal has invested for tower construction and land used under the line. According to Mukhiya, the compensation amount will amount to Rs 50 million. Of the total 15 kilometers of transmission line, 12 kilometers falls in Nepalese territory.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The towers which have a capacity for double circuit has only single circuit installed at present. &nbsp;Some 70 to 75 MW of electricity can be supplied through single circuit line. As per the Nepal- India agreement, additional 50 MW of electricity will be transmitted from the line at present. Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has said that the imported electricity will be used to end the power cut problem faced in eastern Nepal.&nbsp; &nbsp;</p>

The Consumer Technology Association (CTA), the organiser of the world&rsquo;s largest technology show CES, recognised LG for innovations in technology and design of its various products. &ldquo;The association awarded LG&rsquo;s signature product portfolio including the OLED TV and LG V20 smartphone,&rdquo; reads a press statement by LG. According to the company, LG OLED TVs have received CES Innovation Award for five consecutive times. The company was recognized in 11 highly competitive categories including home appliances, home audio and video components and accessories. </span></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color:#444444">&ldquo;Apart from that there were other products such as wireless handsets, wireless handset/accessories, video displays, smart home, headphones, tech for a better world, eco-design/sustainable technologies, portable media players, and computer peripherals,&rdquo; informs the statement. As per the statement, the brand products which earned accolades in award ceremony were TVs, washing machines and dishwashers. &ldquo;The second generation LG Signature OLED TV earned top industry honors in video displays with the &#39;Best of Innovations Award&#39; for the second consecutive year,&rdquo; mentions the company.</span></p>

<p>Issuing a press statement, the company said that the newly launched handset is first phone in Nepal that comes with 13+13MP dual-rear camera setup and an eight MP front facing snapper. The rear dual cameras have features including f/2.0, dual-tone LED flash. As per the statement, one sensor handles colour while the other takes care of depth, details and brightness level. Similarly, the front camera comes with an f/2.0 and has 80 degree wide angle view. Powered by a 64-bit Octa-core Qualcomm snapdragon 652 SoC processor, the phone has 4 GB LPDDR3 RAM and Adreno 510 GPU. Priced at Rs 30, 996, the Cool 1 is available in Gold color variant in the Nepali market.</p>

<p>The company has partnered with Jaima Intercontinental Pvt Ltd (JIPL) for the distribution of the handset in the country. <p style="text-align: justify;">Floriculture Association Nepal (FAN) informed that the roses worth that amount will be produced domestically or imported from India. It&rsquo;s been a trend to celebrate the day which is popularly celebrated in western countries, and due to this, the sales of related materials takes place in Nepali market.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">As the day February 14 nears, the demand of red roses goes high. FAN expects a sale of 200,000 sticks of roses on this year Valentine&rsquo;s day. According to Kumar Kasaju Shrestha, President of FAN, a total of 100,000 sticks of red roses worth Rs five million are being imported from India. Shrestha informed that the remaining 100,000 sticks of roses are produced in the country.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The Association said that flowers are imported from India as well as other countries as the domestic production is not sufficient to meet the local demand. FAN informed that Nepal is importing different types of flowers amounting to Rs 100 million.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Though the production of flowers is increasing by 10 to 15 percent annually, 15 to 20 percent of total demand is fulfilled through import. Due to only seasonal market for flowers in Nepal, flower entrepreneurs are scared for producing more locally.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">It has also been assumed that the consumption of 40 percent of roses is in Kathmandu alone. Similarly, the consumption of the remaining 60 percent roses is in Pokhara, Dharan, Biratnagar, Chitwan and other major cities of Nepal.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Though the flower entrepreneurs are increasing, Nepal has not been self-reliant in flower production. &ldquo;High investment needed for land, high wages of workers and lack of irrigation facility, are the major problems of floriculture,&rdquo; mentioned Shrestha.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">According to Shrestha, due to the high investment cost, the price of flower also rises automatically and this is why floriculture entrepreneurs focus only on import of flowers.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The association has determined the price of roses from minimum of Rs 40 to maximum Rs 100. The price has been determined according to the quality of roses.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">On Valentine&rsquo;s Day, the price of roses is predicted to be between Rs 60 to 70 per stick. The association says that the price of rose reduces with the import of flower from India, thereby helping control its price.</p>

As the part of more interest provided deposit is low, the cost is also low. However, the banks are increasing interest rate of all types of loans. CNI opined that the BFIs should not be overcharging the interest rate exceeding the limit of spread rate &nbsp;set by NRB.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">According to the confederation, the step will hamper big industrial projects requiring huge capital and contract employment opportunities resulting low gross domestic product. &nbsp;The CNI demands appropriate move from government, NRB and other stakeholders to overcome the condition.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Xiao Jancy, Vice President of Avic International, Aviation Company of China handed over the aircrafts to Sugat Ratna Kansakar, General Manager of NAC in a program. The program was also attended by Jivan Bahadur Shahi, Minister of Culture, Tourism and Aviation and Yu Hong, Chinese Ambassador for Nepal. The program also saw an agreement finalised regarding the aircrafts which was signed by kansakar and Subo, Aero Development Vice President of Avic International.</p>
