<p>April 28: The Nepal Entrepreneurs&#39; Hub (NEHUB) organised an Agribusiness Boot Camp- 2017 here on April 27. &nbsp;The agri-business boot camp is one of its kind events in Nepal which has been innovatively designed for agricultural sector.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Three among the 10 businesses which presented themselves during the grand finale night were awarded. A total of 635 applications (383 new ideas/ startups and 252 existing businesses) from all across the country had applied for the BootCamp.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Out of these ten, Shree Kalika BM Agro Production won the first title, second title was won by Kanchanjunga Organic Orthodox Tea Industry and the third position was taken by Quest for Progress.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The top ten finalists - Shree Kalika BM Agro Production, Kanchanjunga Organic Orthodox Tea Industry, Quest for Progress Pvt. Ltd, Aadhunik Krishi Tatha Jadibuti Byabasaik Firm, Himalayan Organic Garden, Ecoplates, Fresh Hygienic Food, Tatopani ko Rosemary, Manakamana Agro Organic Fertilizer Pvt. Ltd and Sagar Bee Keeping Industry- had presented their products, market share, market possibilities, challenges, USPs, production process, price and their future plans during the event.&nbsp;</p>

<p>A pre-event &ldquo;Spark Talk&rdquo; was held on 31 March, 2017 to orient the shortlisted 65 new ideas/ startups and 46 existing businesses on the upcoming AgriBusiness BootCamp 2017. The shortlisted 65 startup candidates participated in the AgriBusiness BootCamp-Startup Weekend Event from April 7 to April 9.&nbsp;</p>

<p>&quot;In this 54-hour event, a total of 33 ideas were pitched, out of which 10 ideas were selected and worked on, out of which top 5 ideas were selected. A focused event &quot;Speed Dating&quot; for the 46 established businesses was organised on April 1 from which 20 businesses were selected for the BootCamp.&nbsp;</p>

<p>&quot;In addition, the top 20 teams will receive one-on-one mentoring sessions to help transform them from growth-oriented agribusinesses to growth-ready agribusinesses all set to begin investing in and executing their innovative approaches.&nbsp;</p>

<p>After intensive mentoring, the top 20 teams will be handed over to the upcoming Nepal AgriBusiness Innovation Centre (NABIC),&quot; mentions a press release issued by NEHUB.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The BootCamp provided intensive mentoring programme including specialized talks, meetups, workshops, training to the five startups and 20 existing businesses for one week. &nbsp;&quot;During the week, the participants gained concrete skills on evolving their businesses in agriculture with insight from industry experts addressing supply chain management, supplier development, value-addition, marketing and partnerships.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The Bootcamp will definitely help selected entrepreneurs to grow from existence to sustainability and scale as well as startups to transfer ideas from mind to market,&quot; said Karmath Dangol, Director of NEHUB.&nbsp;</p>

According to NRB governor, Nepal posses potential for high and sustainable economic growth given that the country focuses on structural development and building investment friendly environment. &ldquo;By April 17, revenue mobilization of the government based on cash flow has increased by 41.8 percent to Rs 426.52 billion. It is 75.7 percent of annual target.&rdquo;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">According to Nepal, out of the 45.5 percent growth in public spending, 45.7 percent is of current expenditure and 12.2 percent is of capital expenditure. &ldquo;The government has been able to spend 25.4 percent of capital budget so far,&rdquo; he added.&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">In the program, Deputy Governor Chintamani Siwakoti mentioned that due to ineffective anti-money laundering control, remittance inflow from formal channel has decreased. Moreover, he informed that NRB will soon implement &lsquo;BASEL III&rsquo; and Risk Based Inspection (RBS) system to &lsquo;B&rsquo; listed financial institutions as well.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">As per Siwakoti, financial accessibility is in increasing trend with the opening of 18.2 million bank accounts in the economy. Similarly, the country has 1,985 ATM outlets and 882 BLB centers. <p style="text-align: justify;">Dr Govinda Pokharel, CEO of NRA said that though the rehabilitation process was challenging, as partners created awareness about building earthquake resistant homes in the villages, it has been easy to take this campaign ahead.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">In the forum, the earthquake victims discussed about their sufferings which they had to bear in terms of normalising their lives.&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">They shared that the bureaucratic process was slow and the government provided much less amount to them for rehabilitation.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">JICA shared that in these two years after the earthquake, JICA worked to strengthen the capacity for reducing disaster risks. JICA- Nepal committed that it will prepare National Disaster Risk Reduction Policy and Strategic Action Plan to bring DRR (2015-2030) into operation.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">&quot;As Japan is also in the earthquake-risk zone, JICA can help Nepal to increase its potentials in earthquake rehabilitation in the central and local level,&quot; said Kimiyo Takeya, Visiting Senior Technical Advisor at JICA Headquarters.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The Japan Government has pledged Rs 30 billion to assist Nepal in reconstruction and rehabilitation. Among the earthquake projects, JICA is currently reconstructing the residents and schools.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Also, JICA informed that it has given earthquake resistant house construction training to around ten thousand people.&nbsp; JICA has helped for construction of 300 schools, and among the total, 83 schools are under-construction.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The transactions of counterfeit currency are made in the market by looking for opportunity with the general public. Pokhara branch of NRB received upto 10 counterfeit currencies in a day.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Similarly, a person was arrested by police in Jajarkot with a counterfeit currency printing machine. According to Bhisma Uprety, Director of Department of Currency Management at NRB, one or two counterfeit currency is received on an average by central bank in a week to 10 days.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify"><strong>How to Differentiate between Counterfeit and Original ?</strong></p>

	<li style="text-align:justify">The original bank notes are made of cotton and are rough and hard while counterfeit currency are glossy to touch and are loose.</li>
	<li style="text-align:justify">The stamp of rhododendron can be seen in original bank notes in white circle of the note while exposing it in light. However, there is only blank white circle in counterfeit currency.</li>

<p style="text-align:justify">The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) commenced the construction of the hydropower project by establishing a Tamakoshi Hydropower Company a few weeks ago.&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">According to Nasib Pradhan, chief of the project, water that comes from the tailrace after being used by another Upper Tamakoshi Hydropower Project will flow through the tunnel from Lamabagar.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">He further added that the construction has started by building an underground powerhouse near Suridobhan using the water that flows through the tunnel from Jagat of Lamabagar.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The main civil contractor Sino Hydro which constructed the Upper Tamakoshi project is constructing the underground intake of this project as well.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The total investment of the project is Rs 13 billion. According to a source, Tamakoshi-V&nbsp;is cheap according to per unit electricity generation investment.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The project-related staff said that the investment of the hydropower project will cost less as the project is being built by not constructing a dam, which will automatically save nature as all the structures are constructed underground.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">According to the detailed project report (DPR), four units of 25 MW capacity each will be installed in the project. Water will be dropped from 160 m head through a 5.6 m diameter and 8.02 km tunnel from the Upper Tamakoshi Project.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">&nbsp;The electricity generated will be linked to the Upper Tamakoshi substation through a 132 KV single circuit transmission line. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

Ltd and Sagar Bee Keeping Industry- had presented their products, market share, market possibilities, challenges, USPs, production process, price and their future plans during the event.&nbsp;</p>

<p>A pre-event &ldquo;Spark Talk&rdquo; was held on 31 March, 2017 to orient the shortlisted 65 new ideas/ startups and 46 existing businesses on the upcoming AgriBusiness BootCamp 2017. <p style="text-align: justify;">Nepal also supported the recent data published by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) on economic growth. CBS projected that the country&rsquo;s gross domestic product (GDP) will grow at 6.9 percent at basic prices in 2016-17. According to NRB governor, Nepal posses potential for high and sustainable economic growth given that the country focuses on structural development and building investment friendly environment. &ldquo;By April 17, revenue mobilization of the government based on cash flow has increased by 41.8 percent to Rs 426.52 billion. It is 75.7 percent of annual target.&rdquo;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">According to Nepal, out of the 45.5 percent growth in public spending, 45.7 percent is of current expenditure and 12.2 percent is of capital expenditure. &ldquo;The government has been able to spend 25.4 percent of capital budget so far,&rdquo; he added.&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">In the program, Deputy Governor Chintamani Siwakoti mentioned that due to ineffective anti-money laundering control, remittance inflow from formal channel has decreased. Moreover, he informed that NRB will soon implement &lsquo;BASEL III&rsquo; and Risk Based Inspection (RBS) system to &lsquo;B&rsquo; listed financial institutions as well.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">As per Siwakoti, financial accessibility is in increasing trend with the opening of 18.2 million bank accounts in the economy. Similarly, the country has 1,985 ATM outlets and 882 BLB centers. <p style="text-align: justify;">Dr Govinda Pokharel, CEO of NRA said that though the rehabilitation process was challenging, as partners created awareness about building earthquake resistant homes in the villages, it has been easy to take this campaign ahead.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">In the forum, the earthquake victims discussed about their sufferings which they had to bear in terms of normalising their lives.&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">They shared that the bureaucratic process was slow and the government provided much less amount to them for rehabilitation.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">JICA shared that in these two years after the earthquake, JICA worked to strengthen the capacity for reducing disaster risks. JICA- Nepal committed that it will prepare National Disaster Risk Reduction Policy and Strategic Action Plan to bring DRR (2015-2030) into operation.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">&quot;As Japan is also in the earthquake-risk zone, JICA can help Nepal to increase its potentials in earthquake rehabilitation in the central and local level,&quot; said Kimiyo Takeya, Visiting Senior Technical Advisor at JICA Headquarters.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The Japan Government has pledged Rs 30 billion to assist Nepal in reconstruction and rehabilitation. Among the earthquake projects, JICA is currently reconstructing the residents and schools.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Also, JICA informed that it has given earthquake resistant house construction training to around ten thousand people.&nbsp; JICA has helped for construction of 300 schools, and among the total, 83 schools are under-construction.</p>

Recently, counterfeit currency notes were detected coming to banks from various &nbsp;channels in Pokhara. <p style="text-align:justify">The transactions of counterfeit currency are made in the market by looking for opportunity with the general public. Pokhara branch of NRB received upto 10 counterfeit currencies in a day.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Similarly, a person was arrested by police in Jajarkot with a counterfeit currency printing machine. According to Bhisma Uprety, Director of Department of Currency Management at NRB, one or two counterfeit currency is received on an average by central bank in a week to 10 days.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify"><strong>How to Differentiate between Counterfeit and Original ?</strong></p>

<ul>
	<li style="text-align:justify">The original bank notes are made of cotton and are rough and hard while counterfeit currency are glossy to touch and are loose.</li>
	<li style="text-align:justify">The stamp of rhododendron can be seen in original bank notes in white circle of the note while exposing it in light. However, there is only blank white circle in counterfeit currency.</li>
	<li style="text-align:justify">The half written NRB is clearly seen in light in original while it is not seen in counterfeit currency.</li>
	<li style="text-align:justify">The original bank notes are crisp when shaken near one&rsquo;s ear while the sound of the counterfeit currency is dull.</li>
	<li style="text-align:justify">Counterfeit currency is not as bright as original bank notes. The colour of original bank notes are clear, dark and neat while the color of the counterfeit currency is dim, unclear and fading.</li>
	<li style="text-align:justify">The original bank note slowly changes to normal shape when grabbed by hand and left on the table, but the fake one remains distorted.</li>
	<li style="text-align:justify">The security thread of original bank notes is printed with NRB which is clearly seen while it is not seen in counterfeit currency.</li>
	<li style="text-align:justify">While shaking to either side, the step features in original bank notes gives special brightness but there is no such brightness in counterfeit currency.</li>
	<li style="text-align:justify">There is a technology to find out counterfeit currency in banking channels. If the counterfeit currency and original bank notes are hard to differentiate through simple ways, then there is a detector machine to find out counterfeit currency. This machine immediately rejects counterfeit currency. &nbsp;Similarly, counterfeit currency can also be traced through ultra violet (UV) light and magnifying glass technology.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>

<p style="text-align:justify">The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) commenced the construction of the hydropower project by establishing a Tamakoshi Hydropower Company a few weeks ago.&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">According to Nasib Pradhan, chief of the project, water that comes from the tailrace after being used by another Upper Tamakoshi Hydropower Project will flow through the tunnel from Lamabagar.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">He further added that the construction has started by building an underground powerhouse near Suridobhan using the water that flows through the tunnel from Jagat of Lamabagar.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The main civil contractor Sino Hydro which constructed the Upper Tamakoshi project is constructing the underground intake of this project as well.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The total investment of the project is Rs 13 billion. According to a source, Tamakoshi-V&nbsp;is cheap according to per unit electricity generation investment.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The project-related staff said that the investment of the hydropower project will cost less as the project is being built by not constructing a dam, which will automatically save nature as all the structures are constructed underground.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">According to the detailed project report (DPR), four units of 25 MW capacity each will be installed in the project. Water will be dropped from 160 m head through a 5.6 m diameter and 8.02 km tunnel from the Upper Tamakoshi Project.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">&nbsp;The electricity generated will be linked to the Upper Tamakoshi substation through a 132 KV single circuit transmission line. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">JICA shared that in these two years after the earthquake, JICA worked to strengthen the capacity for reducing disaster risks. JICA- Nepal committed that it will prepare National Disaster Risk Reduction Policy and Strategic Action Plan to bring DRR (2015-2030) into operation.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">&quot;As Japan is also in the earthquake-risk zone, JICA can help Nepal to increase its potentials in earthquake rehabilitation in the central and local level,&quot; said Kimiyo Takeya, Visiting Senior Technical Advisor at JICA Headquarters.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The Japan Government has pledged Rs 30 billion to assist Nepal in reconstruction and rehabilitation. Among the earthquake projects, JICA is currently reconstructing the residents and schools.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Also, JICA informed that it has given earthquake resistant house construction training to around ten thousand people.&nbsp; JICA has helped for construction of 300 schools, and among the total, 83 schools are under-construction.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The transactions of counterfeit currency are made in the market by looking for opportunity with the general public. Pokhara branch of NRB received upto 10 counterfeit currencies in a day.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Similarly, a person was arrested by police in Jajarkot with a counterfeit currency printing machine. According to Bhisma Uprety, Director of Department of Currency Management at NRB, one or two counterfeit currency is received on an average by central bank in a week to 10 days.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify"><strong>How to Differentiate between Counterfeit and Original ?</strong></p>

<ul>
	<li style="text-align:justify">The original bank notes are made of cotton and are rough and hard while counterfeit currency are glossy to touch and are loose.</li>
	<li style="text-align:justify">The stamp of rhododendron can be seen in original bank notes in white circle of the note while exposing it in light. However, there is only blank white circle in counterfeit currency.</li>
	<li style="text-align:justify">The half written NRB is clearly seen in light in original while it is not seen in counterfeit currency.</li>
	<li style="text-align:justify">The original bank notes are crisp when shaken near one&rsquo;s ear while the sound of the counterfeit currency is dull.</li>
	<li style="text-align:justify">Counterfeit currency is not as bright as original bank notes. The colour of original bank notes are clear, dark and neat while the color of the counterfeit currency is dim, unclear and fading.</li>
	<li style="text-align:justify">The original bank note slowly changes to normal shape when grabbed by hand and left on the table, but the fake one remains distorted.</li>
	<li style="text-align:justify">The security thread of original bank notes is printed with NRB which is clearly seen while it is not seen in counterfeit currency.</li>
	<li style="text-align:justify">While shaking to either side, the step features in original bank notes gives special brightness but there is no such brightness in counterfeit currency.</li>
	<li style="text-align:justify">There is a technology to find out counterfeit currency in banking channels. If the counterfeit currency and original bank notes are hard to differentiate through simple ways, then there is a detector machine to find out counterfeit currency. This machine immediately rejects counterfeit currency. &nbsp;Similarly, counterfeit currency can also be traced through ultra violet (UV) light and magnifying glass technology.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>

<p style="text-align:justify">The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) commenced the construction of the hydropower project by establishing a Tamakoshi Hydropower Company a few weeks ago.&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">According to Nasib Pradhan, chief of the project, water that comes from the tailrace after being used by another Upper Tamakoshi Hydropower Project will flow through the tunnel from Lamabagar.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">He further added that the construction has started by building an underground powerhouse near Suridobhan using the water that flows through the tunnel from Jagat of Lamabagar.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The main civil contractor Sino Hydro which constructed the Upper Tamakoshi project is constructing the underground intake of this project as well.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The total investment of the project is Rs 13 billion. According to a source, Tamakoshi-V&nbsp;is cheap according to per unit electricity generation investment.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The project-related staff said that the investment of the hydropower project will cost less as the project is being built by not constructing a dam, which will automatically save nature as all the structures are constructed underground.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">According to the detailed project report (DPR), four units of 25 MW capacity each will be installed in the project. Water will be dropped from 160 m head through a 5.6 m diameter and 8.02 km tunnel from the Upper Tamakoshi Project.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">&nbsp;The electricity generated will be linked to the Upper Tamakoshi substation through a 132 KV single circuit transmission line. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>April 28: The Nepal Entrepreneurs&#39; Hub (NEHUB) organised an Agribusiness Boot Camp- 2017 here on April 27. &nbsp;The agri-business boot camp is one of its kind events in Nepal which has been innovatively designed for agricultural sector.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Three among the 10 businesses which presented themselves during the grand finale night were awarded. A total of 635 applications (383 new ideas/ startups and 252 existing businesses) from all across the country had applied for the BootCamp.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Out of these ten, Shree Kalika BM Agro Production won the first title, second title was won by Kanchanjunga Organic Orthodox Tea Industry and the third position was taken by Quest for Progress.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The top ten finalists - Shree Kalika BM Agro Production, Kanchanjunga Organic Orthodox Tea Industry, Quest for Progress Pvt. Ltd, Aadhunik Krishi Tatha Jadibuti Byabasaik Firm, Himalayan Organic Garden, Ecoplates, Fresh Hygienic Food, Tatopani ko Rosemary, Manakamana Agro Organic Fertilizer Pvt. Ltd and Sagar Bee Keeping Industry- had presented their products, market share, market possibilities, challenges, USPs, production process, price and their future plans during the event.&nbsp;</p>

<p>A pre-event &ldquo;Spark Talk&rdquo; was held on 31 March, 2017 to orient the shortlisted 65 new ideas/ startups and 46 existing businesses on the upcoming AgriBusiness BootCamp 2017. The shortlisted 65 startup candidates participated in the AgriBusiness BootCamp-Startup Weekend Event from April 7 to April 9.&nbsp;</p>

<p>&quot;In this 54-hour event, a total of 33 ideas were pitched, out of which 10 ideas were selected and worked on, out of which top 5 ideas were selected. <p style="text-align: justify;">According to Nepal, out of the 45.5 percent growth in public spending, 45.7 percent is of current expenditure and 12.2 percent is of capital expenditure. &ldquo;The government has been able to spend 25.4 percent of capital budget so far,&rdquo; he added.&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">In the program, Deputy Governor Chintamani Siwakoti mentioned that due to ineffective anti-money laundering control, remittance inflow from formal channel has decreased. Moreover, he informed that NRB will soon implement &lsquo;BASEL III&rsquo; and Risk Based Inspection (RBS) system to &lsquo;B&rsquo; listed financial institutions as well.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">As per Siwakoti, financial accessibility is in increasing trend with the opening of 18.2 million bank accounts in the economy. Similarly, the country has 1,985 ATM outlets and 882 BLB centers. <p style="text-align: justify;">The programme was also assisted by the Home Ministry and the National Reconstruction Authority (NRA).</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Dr Govinda Pokharel, CEO of NRA said that though the rehabilitation process was challenging, as partners created awareness about building earthquake resistant homes in the villages, it has been easy to take this campaign ahead.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">In the forum, the earthquake victims discussed about their sufferings which they had to bear in terms of normalising their lives.&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">They shared that the bureaucratic process was slow and the government provided much less amount to them for rehabilitation.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">JICA shared that in these two years after the earthquake, JICA worked to strengthen the capacity for reducing disaster risks. JICA- Nepal committed that it will prepare National Disaster Risk Reduction Policy and Strategic Action Plan to bring DRR (2015-2030) into operation.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">&quot;As Japan is also in the earthquake-risk zone, JICA can help Nepal to increase its potentials in earthquake rehabilitation in the central and local level,&quot; said Kimiyo Takeya, Visiting Senior Technical Advisor at JICA Headquarters.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The Japan Government has pledged Rs 30 billion to assist Nepal in reconstruction and rehabilitation. Among the earthquake projects, JICA is currently reconstructing the residents and schools.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Also, JICA informed that it has given earthquake resistant house construction training to around ten thousand people.&nbsp; JICA has helped for construction of 300 schools, and among the total, 83 schools are under-construction.</p>

Recently, counterfeit currency notes were detected coming to banks from various &nbsp;channels in Pokhara. The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB), Pokhara branch received 91 fake bank notes till April 21 which included the Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 bank notes.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The transactions of counterfeit currency are made in the market by looking for opportunity with the general public. Pokhara branch of NRB received upto 10 counterfeit currencies in a day.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Similarly, a person was arrested by police in Jajarkot with a counterfeit currency printing machine. According to Bhisma Uprety, Director of Department of Currency Management at NRB, one or two counterfeit currency is received on an average by central bank in a week to 10 days.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify"><strong>How to Differentiate between Counterfeit and Original ?</strong></p>

<ul>
	<li style="text-align:justify">The original bank notes are made of cotton and are rough and hard while counterfeit currency are glossy to touch and are loose.</li>
	<li style="text-align:justify">The stamp of rhododendron can be seen in original bank notes in white circle of the note while exposing it in light. However, there is only blank white circle in counterfeit currency.</li>
	<li style="text-align:justify">The half written NRB is clearly seen in light in original while it is not seen in counterfeit currency.</li>
	<li style="text-align:justify">The original bank notes are crisp when shaken near one&rsquo;s ear while the sound of the counterfeit currency is dull.</li>
	<li style="text-align:justify">Counterfeit currency is not as bright as original bank notes. The colour of original bank notes are clear, dark and neat while the color of the counterfeit currency is dim, unclear and fading.</li>
	<li style="text-align:justify">The original bank note slowly changes to normal shape when grabbed by hand and left on the table, but the fake one remains distorted.</li>
	<li style="text-align:justify">The security thread of original bank notes is printed with NRB which is clearly seen while it is not seen in counterfeit currency.</li>
	<li style="text-align:justify">While shaking to either side, the step features in original bank notes gives special brightness but there is no such brightness in counterfeit currency.</li>
	<li style="text-align:justify">There is a technology to find out counterfeit currency in banking channels. If the counterfeit currency and original bank notes are hard to differentiate through simple ways, then there is a detector machine to find out counterfeit currency. This machine immediately rejects counterfeit currency. &nbsp;Similarly, counterfeit currency can also be traced through ultra violet (UV) light and magnifying glass technology.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>

<p style="text-align:justify">The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) commenced the construction of the hydropower project by establishing a Tamakoshi Hydropower Company a few weeks ago.&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">According to Nasib Pradhan, chief of the project, water that comes from the tailrace after being used by another Upper Tamakoshi Hydropower Project will flow through the tunnel from Lamabagar.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">He further added that the construction has started by building an underground powerhouse near Suridobhan using the water that flows through the tunnel from Jagat of Lamabagar.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The main civil contractor Sino Hydro which constructed the Upper Tamakoshi project is constructing the underground intake of this project as well.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The total investment of the project is Rs 13 billion. According to a source, Tamakoshi-V&nbsp;is cheap according to per unit electricity generation investment.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The project-related staff said that the investment of the hydropower project will cost less as the project is being built by not constructing a dam, which will automatically save nature as all the structures are constructed underground.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">According to the detailed project report (DPR), four units of 25 MW capacity each will be installed in the project. Water will be dropped from 160 m head through a 5.6 m diameter and 8.02 km tunnel from the Upper Tamakoshi Project.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">&nbsp;The electricity generated will be linked to the Upper Tamakoshi substation through a 132 KV single circuit transmission line. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
