			'content' => '<p>July 8: Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has approved the schedule of Buddha Air&rsquo;s Nepalgunj &ndash;New Delhi flights.&nbsp; The airline informed that the aviation authority has approved the schedule and will be valid from January 1, 2019.</p>

<p>The airline previously had requested the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation allow it to operate three regular flights to the Indian capital from Nepalgunj. Buddha Air had requested to operate flights at 6:30 am, 1 pm and 5:10 pm.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>Buddha Air informed that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs upon the request from the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation had written to Indian authorities seeking approval of the air route. The airline from its side has been doing its home work for starting the flights to New Delhi.</p>

<p>The operation of Buddha Air&rsquo;s flights to New Delhi is expected to bring positive improvement in tourism promotion of western and far western Nepal.</p>

<p>The airline in a statement informed that Bardiya, Shuklaphata National Park, as well as the Himalayan range, Khaptad, Swargadwari and Rara as some of the major tourism destinations that will get a boost after the flights to New Delhi come into operation.&nbsp; &nbsp;</p>

<p>Similarly, the airline is working to commence direct Nepalgunj-Pokhara flight after starting Nepalgunj-Delhi flight operation.</p>

<p>The airline has recently added a new aircraft to &nbsp;its fleet.&nbsp;</p>

<p>As part of the rescue operations, the embassy deployed its officials and representatives with medicines in all the affected areas including Hilsa, Simikot, Nepalgunj and Surkhet to facilitate possible assistance, including medical check-ups of elderly and ailing pilgrims.</p>

<p>An emergency control room with contact numbers of the embassy officials has also been functioning 24X7 since July 2 to cater to the needs of the stranded pilgrims and their family members&rsquo; queries, the embassy said in a press statement. According to the embassy, the emergency control room is equipped with 8-member multilingual personnel (Hindi/English/Tamil/Telugu/ Kannada/Malayalam language speakers) to avoid language barriers.</p>

<p>As of July 6, with concerted efforts, a total of 1,225 stranded pilgrims were airlifted from Simikot to Nepalgunj and Surkhet, the embassy said in the statement. For pilgrims airlifted to Surkhet, the embassy also put in bus service to ferry pilgrims to Nepalgunj. Likewise, the embassy also worked with tour operators to airlift around 675 stranded pilgrims at Hilsa to Simikot for onward evacuation to Nepalgunj and Surkhet. During the evacuation process, 74 commercial flights were operated and the embassy additionally pressed in private choppers, MI-16 along with Nepal Army helicopters that made more than 142 sorties in the difficult terrains of Hilsa-Simikot-Nepalgunj section.</p>

<p>The Ministry of Finance informed that the structural change was proposed by finance minister and has been approved by the council of ministers. The cabinet meeting approved the proposal on Wednesday, July 4.</p>

<p>The structural change will be implemented from mid-July. The change includes additional customs offices for revenue collection and upgrading current revenue offices.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Thirteen Kathmandu-based revenue collection offices will be upgraded to internal revenue offices after the implementation of new structure.</p>

<p>Large revenue collection offices will remain as it is under the structure and three internal revenue offices situated in Kathmandu will be downgraded to small revenue collection offices.</p>

<p>Bhadrapur Choti Customs Office of Jhapa has been upgraded as head of district customs office while the customs offices in Maheshpur of Rupandehi, Suthauli of Kapilvastu, Thadi of Siraha and Sati Choti of Kailali have been upgraded as the main customs offices. According to the new structure, the government has even changed the staff of these customs offices and a joint secretary of the ministry has been appointed to govern small revenue offices.</p>

<p>The ministry informed that the government with the aim to reduce the workload of large revenue offices has established the concept of small revenue offices.</p>

<p>The government will merge the integrated check post and dry ports in Birgunj and it will be leaded by a joint secretary.</p>

<p>The government aims to ease the revenue collection process by changing the revenue administration according to the budget of upcoming year.</p>

<p>The airline previously had requested the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation allow it to operate three regular flights to the Indian capital from Nepalgunj. Buddha Air had requested to operate flights at 6:30 am, 1 pm and 5:10 pm.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>Buddha Air informed that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs upon the request from the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation had written to Indian authorities seeking approval of the air route. The airline from its side has been doing its home work for starting the flights to New Delhi.</p>

<p>The operation of Buddha Air&rsquo;s flights to New Delhi is expected to bring positive improvement in tourism promotion of western and far western Nepal.</p>

<p>The airline in a statement informed that Bardiya, Shuklaphata National Park, as well as the Himalayan range, Khaptad, Swargadwari and Rara as some of the major tourism destinations that will get a boost after the flights to New Delhi come into operation.&nbsp; &nbsp;</p>

<p>Similarly, the airline is working to commence direct Nepalgunj-Pokhara flight after starting Nepalgunj-Delhi flight operation.</p>

<p>The airline has recently added a new aircraft to &nbsp;its fleet.&nbsp;</p>

<p>An emergency control room with contact numbers of the embassy officials has also been functioning 24X7 since July 2 to cater to the needs of the stranded pilgrims and their family members&rsquo; queries, the embassy said in a press statement. According to the embassy, the emergency control room is equipped with 8-member multilingual personnel (Hindi/English/Tamil/Telugu/ Kannada/Malayalam language speakers) to avoid language barriers.</p>

<p>As of July 6, with concerted efforts, a total of 1,225 stranded pilgrims were airlifted from Simikot to Nepalgunj and Surkhet, the embassy said in the statement. For pilgrims airlifted to Surkhet, the embassy also put in bus service to ferry pilgrims to Nepalgunj. Likewise, the embassy also worked with tour operators to airlift around 675 stranded pilgrims at Hilsa to Simikot for onward evacuation to Nepalgunj and Surkhet. During the evacuation process, 74 commercial flights were operated and the embassy additionally pressed in private choppers, MI-16 along with Nepal Army helicopters that made more than 142 sorties in the difficult terrains of Hilsa-Simikot-Nepalgunj section.</p>

<p>The Ministry of Finance informed that the structural change was proposed by finance minister and has been approved by the council of ministers. The cabinet meeting approved the proposal on Wednesday, July 4.</p>

<p>The structural change will be implemented from mid-July. The change includes additional customs offices for revenue collection and upgrading current revenue offices.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Thirteen Kathmandu-based revenue collection offices will be upgraded to internal revenue offices after the implementation of new structure.</p>

<p>Large revenue collection offices will remain as it is under the structure and three internal revenue offices situated in Kathmandu will be downgraded to small revenue collection offices.</p>

<p>Bhadrapur Choti Customs Office of Jhapa has been upgraded as head of district customs office while the customs offices in Maheshpur of Rupandehi, Suthauli of Kapilvastu, Thadi of Siraha and Sati Choti of Kailali have been upgraded as the main customs offices. According to the new structure, the government has even changed the staff of these customs offices and a joint secretary of the ministry has been appointed to govern small revenue offices.</p>

<p>The ministry informed that the government with the aim to reduce the workload of large revenue offices has established the concept of small revenue offices.</p>

<p>The government will merge the integrated check post and dry ports in Birgunj and it will be leaded by a joint secretary.</p>

<p>The government aims to ease the revenue collection process by changing the revenue administration according to the budget of upcoming year.</p>

<p>The airline previously had requested the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation allow it to operate three regular flights to the Indian capital from Nepalgunj. Buddha Air had requested to operate flights at 6:30 am, 1 pm and 5:10 pm.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>Buddha Air informed that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs upon the request from the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation had written to Indian authorities seeking approval of the air route. The airline from its side has been doing its home work for starting the flights to New Delhi.</p>

<p>The operation of Buddha Air&rsquo;s flights to New Delhi is expected to bring positive improvement in tourism promotion of western and far western Nepal.</p>

<p>The airline in a statement informed that Bardiya, Shuklaphata National Park, as well as the Himalayan range, Khaptad, Swargadwari and Rara as some of the major tourism destinations that will get a boost after the flights to New Delhi come into operation.&nbsp; &nbsp;</p>

<p>Similarly, the airline is working to commence direct Nepalgunj-Pokhara flight after starting Nepalgunj-Delhi flight operation.</p>

<p>The airline has recently added a new aircraft to &nbsp;its fleet.&nbsp;</p>

<p>An emergency control room with contact numbers of the embassy officials has also been functioning 24X7 since July 2 to cater to the needs of the stranded pilgrims and their family members&rsquo; queries, the embassy said in a press statement. According to the embassy, the emergency control room is equipped with 8-member multilingual personnel (Hindi/English/Tamil/Telugu/ Kannada/Malayalam language speakers) to avoid language barriers.</p>

<p>As of July 6, with concerted efforts, a total of 1,225 stranded pilgrims were airlifted from Simikot to Nepalgunj and Surkhet, the embassy said in the statement. For pilgrims airlifted to Surkhet, the embassy also put in bus service to ferry pilgrims to Nepalgunj. Likewise, the embassy also worked with tour operators to airlift around 675 stranded pilgrims at Hilsa to Simikot for onward evacuation to Nepalgunj and Surkhet. During the evacuation process, 74 commercial flights were operated and the embassy additionally pressed in private choppers, MI-16 along with Nepal Army helicopters that made more than 142 sorties in the difficult terrains of Hilsa-Simikot-Nepalgunj section.</p>

<p>The Ministry of Finance informed that the structural change was proposed by finance minister and has been approved by the council of ministers. The cabinet meeting approved the proposal on Wednesday, July 4.</p>

<p>The structural change will be implemented from mid-July. The change includes additional customs offices for revenue collection and upgrading current revenue offices.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Thirteen Kathmandu-based revenue collection offices will be upgraded to internal revenue offices after the implementation of new structure.</p>

<p>Large revenue collection offices will remain as it is under the structure and three internal revenue offices situated in Kathmandu will be downgraded to small revenue collection offices.</p>

<p>Bhadrapur Choti Customs Office of Jhapa has been upgraded as head of district customs office while the customs offices in Maheshpur of Rupandehi, Suthauli of Kapilvastu, Thadi of Siraha and Sati Choti of Kailali have been upgraded as the main customs offices. According to the new structure, the government has even changed the staff of these customs offices and a joint secretary of the ministry has been appointed to govern small revenue offices.</p>

<p>The ministry informed that the government with the aim to reduce the workload of large revenue offices has established the concept of small revenue offices.</p>

<p>The government will merge the integrated check post and dry ports in Birgunj and it will be leaded by a joint secretary.</p>

<p>The government aims to ease the revenue collection process by changing the revenue administration according to the budget of upcoming year.</p>

<p>The airline previously had requested the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation allow it to operate three regular flights to the Indian capital from Nepalgunj. Buddha Air had requested to operate flights at 6:30 am, 1 pm and 5:10 pm.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>Buddha Air informed that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs upon the request from the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation had written to Indian authorities seeking approval of the air route. The airline from its side has been doing its home work for starting the flights to New Delhi.</p>

<p>The operation of Buddha Air&rsquo;s flights to New Delhi is expected to bring positive improvement in tourism promotion of western and far western Nepal.</p>

<p>The airline in a statement informed that Bardiya, Shuklaphata National Park, as well as the Himalayan range, Khaptad, Swargadwari and Rara as some of the major tourism destinations that will get a boost after the flights to New Delhi come into operation.&nbsp; &nbsp;</p>

<p>Similarly, the airline is working to commence direct Nepalgunj-Pokhara flight after starting Nepalgunj-Delhi flight operation.</p>

<p>The airline has recently added a new aircraft to &nbsp;its fleet.&nbsp;</p>

<p>An emergency control room with contact numbers of the embassy officials has also been functioning 24X7 since July 2 to cater to the needs of the stranded pilgrims and their family members&rsquo; queries, the embassy said in a press statement. According to the embassy, the emergency control room is equipped with 8-member multilingual personnel (Hindi/English/Tamil/Telugu/ Kannada/Malayalam language speakers) to avoid language barriers.</p>

<p>As of July 6, with concerted efforts, a total of 1,225 stranded pilgrims were airlifted from Simikot to Nepalgunj and Surkhet, the embassy said in the statement. For pilgrims airlifted to Surkhet, the embassy also put in bus service to ferry pilgrims to Nepalgunj. Likewise, the embassy also worked with tour operators to airlift around 675 stranded pilgrims at Hilsa to Simikot for onward evacuation to Nepalgunj and Surkhet. During the evacuation process, 74 commercial flights were operated and the embassy additionally pressed in private choppers, MI-16 along with Nepal Army helicopters that made more than 142 sorties in the difficult terrains of Hilsa-Simikot-Nepalgunj section.</p>

			'content' => '<p>July 6: The government has changed the structure of revenue administration of the country. The government aiming to achieve its revenue collection target for the upcoming fiscal year 2075/76 has changed the structure of revenue administration.</p>

<p>The Ministry of Finance informed that the structural change was proposed by finance minister and has been approved by the council of ministers. The cabinet meeting approved the proposal on Wednesday, July 4.</p>

<p>The structural change will be implemented from mid-July. The change includes additional customs offices for revenue collection and upgrading current revenue offices.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Thirteen Kathmandu-based revenue collection offices will be upgraded to internal revenue offices after the implementation of new structure.</p>

<p>Large revenue collection offices will remain as it is under the structure and three internal revenue offices situated in Kathmandu will be downgraded to small revenue collection offices.</p>

<p>Bhadrapur Choti Customs Office of Jhapa has been upgraded as head of district customs office while the customs offices in Maheshpur of Rupandehi, Suthauli of Kapilvastu, Thadi of Siraha and Sati Choti of Kailali have been upgraded as the main customs offices. According to the new structure, the government has even changed the staff of these customs offices and a joint secretary of the ministry has been appointed to govern small revenue offices.</p>

<p>The ministry informed that the government with the aim to reduce the workload of large revenue offices has established the concept of small revenue offices.</p>

<p>The government will merge the integrated check post and dry ports in Birgunj and it will be leaded by a joint secretary.</p>

<p>The government aims to ease the revenue collection process by changing the revenue administration according to the budget of upcoming year.</p>

<p>&ldquo;Investors look for ideas that can solve any issue and can also earn money in return. But it is not only about investment but connection and networks that might be useful in the future,&rdquo; said Binay Devkota, chief executive officer of Clock b Business Innovations, a Kathmandu-based business management consultant.</p>

<p>Students aspiring to be entrepreneurs showed participation in the workshop.&nbsp;</p>
