<p>Health ministers and senior officials from the 11 member countries are expected to participate in the 71<sup>st</sup> Session of the Regional Committee of WHO South-East Asia Region, the highest policy making body of WHO in the region.</p>

<p>WHO Director-General Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, WHO South-East Asia Regional Director Dr Poonam Khetrapal Singh, and WHO Deputy Director General Jane Elizabeth Ellison will be participating in the meeting, along with representatives of a number of partner organizations and civil society, according to WHO South-East Asia.</p>

<p>The meeting will deliberate on the existing and new opportunities for improving access to essential medicines, vaccines and medical products both within WHO South-East Asia Region and beyond, as one of the key initiatives towards universal health coverage.</p>

<p>With the region prone to disasters and public health emergencies, WHO and member countries will discuss strengthening of emergency medical teams, an important initiative to fortify response capacities.</p>

<p>To address the significant increase in dengue cases in recent years, health experts will discuss measures against all vector-borne diseases including chikungunya and zika.</p>

<p>Building on the momentum created in the region in recent years to eliminate malaria, the member countries will review key action points for further intensifying efforts to reduce its disease burden.</p>

<p>In addition, progress reports on promoting physical activity, intensifying routine immunization, improving civil registration and vital statistics and expanding the scope of the South-East Asia Regional Emergency Fund, would be made at the meeting.</p>

<p>The Regional Committee session is held annually and is hosted by one of the 11 member countries in the region or the WHO South-East Asia Regional Office. The session this year is being hosted by the WHO South-East Asia Regional Office.</p>

<p>The organiser claimed that Glocal Teen Hero is the only national platform in Nepal to recognize and honor outstanding teenagers. It is a platform for Nepali teenagers to share their initiation, creativity, and enthusiasm which will then motivate them and more of the other teenagers in the nation to develop an entrepreneurial thinking, the statement further said .</p>

<p>This is the fourth edition of the program designed in the country to recognize dedicated, passionate, and innovative teenagers so as to encourage their initiatives.</p>

<p>Bipana Sharma, a 17-year old child rights activist from Sunwal, Nawalparasi, and Santosh Lamichhane, a robot inventor were felicitated during the first and second editions of Glocal Teen Hero in the years 2015 and 2016 respectively. <p>According to the agreement Prabhu Bank will provide financial support to the eye hospital to conduct various eye camps in the backward regions of the country to support the unprivileged eye patients.</p>

<p>Prabhu Bank and the hospital aim to conduct the eye camp in various remote areas of Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Kavre and Dhading districts to support thousands of individuals.</p>

<p>During the review period, Nepal traded with 155 nations. Out of them, Nepal recorded loss while dealing with 129 countries.</p>

<p>Turkey tops the chart among the countries with whom Nepal is in profit in foreign trade. According to the data, Nepal recorded a profit of Rs 1.97 billion while trading with Turkey last year. During the period, Nepal exported goods worth Rs 4.67 billion to Turkey while its import from Turkey was Rs 2.70 billion.</p>

<p>Great Britain stands second in the list of Nepal&rsquo;s profitable dealings. Nepal&rsquo;s profit while trading with Britain was Rs 211.6 million in the last FY. Britain topped the list in the previous year. Likewise, Kuwait is third in the list with a profit of Rs 20 million.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, Nepal&rsquo;s export to 44 countries whit which it traded last year was nil. The country only imported goods from those countries in the review period.</p>

<p>Nepal&rsquo;s chief exports include cotton, readymade garments, handicrafts, leather products, coffee, milk products among others while its main import is petroleum products and machineries.</p>

<p>Nepal&rsquo;s total loss in foreign trade during the review period was Rs 11.62 billion.</p>

<p>To address the significant increase in dengue cases in recent years, health experts will discuss measures against all vector-borne diseases including chikungunya and zika.</p>

<p>Building on the momentum created in the region in recent years to eliminate malaria, the member countries will review key action points for further intensifying efforts to reduce its disease burden.</p>

<p>In addition, progress reports on promoting physical activity, intensifying routine immunization, improving civil registration and vital statistics and expanding the scope of the South-East Asia Regional Emergency Fund, would be made at the meeting.</p>

<p>The Regional Committee session is held annually and is hosted by one of the 11 member countries in the region or the WHO South-East Asia Regional Office. The session this year is being hosted by the WHO South-East Asia Regional Office.</p>

<p>During the review period, Nepal traded with 155 nations. Out of them, Nepal recorded loss while dealing with 129 countries.</p>

<p>Turkey tops the chart among the countries with whom Nepal is in profit in foreign trade. According to the data, Nepal recorded a profit of Rs 1.97 billion while trading with Turkey last year. During the period, Nepal exported goods worth Rs 4.67 billion to Turkey while its import from Turkey was Rs 2.70 billion.</p>

<p>Great Britain stands second in the list of Nepal&rsquo;s profitable dealings. Nepal&rsquo;s profit while trading with Britain was Rs 211.6 million in the last FY. Britain topped the list in the previous year. Likewise, Kuwait is third in the list with a profit of Rs 20 million.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, Nepal&rsquo;s export to 44 countries whit which it traded last year was nil. The country only imported goods from those countries in the review period.</p>

<p>Nepal&rsquo;s chief exports include cotton, readymade garments, handicrafts, leather products, coffee, milk products among others while its main import is petroleum products and machineries.</p>

<p>Nepal&rsquo;s total loss in foreign trade during the review period was Rs 11.62 billion.</p>

<p>To address the significant increase in dengue cases in recent years, health experts will discuss measures against all vector-borne diseases including chikungunya and zika.</p>

<p>Building on the momentum created in the region in recent years to eliminate malaria, the member countries will review key action points for further intensifying efforts to reduce its disease burden.</p>

<p>In addition, progress reports on promoting physical activity, intensifying routine immunization, improving civil registration and vital statistics and expanding the scope of the South-East Asia Regional Emergency Fund, would be made at the meeting.</p>

<p>The Regional Committee session is held annually and is hosted by one of the 11 member countries in the region or the WHO South-East Asia Regional Office. The session this year is being hosted by the WHO South-East Asia Regional Office.</p>

<p>During the review period, Nepal traded with 155 nations. Out of them, Nepal recorded loss while dealing with 129 countries.</p>

<p>Turkey tops the chart among the countries with whom Nepal is in profit in foreign trade. According to the data, Nepal recorded a profit of Rs 1.97 billion while trading with Turkey last year. During the period, Nepal exported goods worth Rs 4.67 billion to Turkey while its import from Turkey was Rs 2.70 billion.</p>

<p>Great Britain stands second in the list of Nepal&rsquo;s profitable dealings. Nepal&rsquo;s profit while trading with Britain was Rs 211.6 million in the last FY. Britain topped the list in the previous year. Likewise, Kuwait is third in the list with a profit of Rs 20 million.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, Nepal&rsquo;s export to 44 countries whit which it traded last year was nil. The country only imported goods from those countries in the review period.</p>

<p>Nepal&rsquo;s chief exports include cotton, readymade garments, handicrafts, leather products, coffee, milk products among others while its main import is petroleum products and machineries.</p>

<p>Nepal&rsquo;s total loss in foreign trade during the review period was Rs 11.62 billion.</p>

<p>Building on the momentum created in the region in recent years to eliminate malaria, the member countries will review key action points for further intensifying efforts to reduce its disease burden.</p>

<p>In addition, progress reports on promoting physical activity, intensifying routine immunization, improving civil registration and vital statistics and expanding the scope of the South-East Asia Regional Emergency Fund, would be made at the meeting.</p>

<p>The Regional Committee session is held annually and is hosted by one of the 11 member countries in the region or the WHO South-East Asia Regional Office. The session this year is being hosted by the WHO South-East Asia Regional Office.</p>

<p>The organiser claimed that Glocal Teen Hero is the only national platform in Nepal to recognize and honor outstanding teenagers. It is a platform for Nepali teenagers to share their initiation, creativity, and enthusiasm which will then motivate them and more of the other teenagers in the nation to develop an entrepreneurial thinking, the statement further said .</p>

<p>This is the fourth edition of the program designed in the country to recognize dedicated, passionate, and innovative teenagers so as to encourage their initiatives.</p>

<p>Bipana Sharma, a 17-year old child rights activist from Sunwal, Nawalparasi, and Santosh Lamichhane, a robot inventor were felicitated during the first and second editions of Glocal Teen Hero in the years 2015 and 2016 respectively. Similarly, eighteen-year old social activist Sachin Dangi was awarded Wai Wai Glocal Teen Hero in 2017.</p>

<p>Turkey tops the chart among the countries with whom Nepal is in profit in foreign trade. According to the data, Nepal recorded a profit of Rs 1.97 billion while trading with Turkey last year. During the period, Nepal exported goods worth Rs 4.67 billion to Turkey while its import from Turkey was Rs 2.70 billion.</p>

<p>Great Britain stands second in the list of Nepal&rsquo;s profitable dealings. Nepal&rsquo;s profit while trading with Britain was Rs 211.6 million in the last FY. Britain topped the list in the previous year. Likewise, Kuwait is third in the list with a profit of Rs 20 million.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, Nepal&rsquo;s export to 44 countries whit which it traded last year was nil. The country only imported goods from those countries in the review period.</p>

<p>Nepal&rsquo;s chief exports include cotton, readymade garments, handicrafts, leather products, coffee, milk products among others while its main import is petroleum products and machineries.</p>

<p>Nepal&rsquo;s total loss in foreign trade during the review period was Rs 11.62 billion.</p>
