He also stressed the need for the banks to be under the regulation of the central bank, and increase trust among the depositors.</p> <p>“The central bank is working to uplift the banking and financial institutions (BFIs) of the country. There is a proper policy and laws in the BFI sector. But, there is a need to fully abide by the policies. Also, there is a necessity to amend the policies as per the need of the time,” said Khatiwada.</p> <p>“The banking sector is always under risk.
