In the run chase, NLIC scored a total of&nbsp; 50 runs. Kishor Takachhe contributed 24 runs for NLIC.</p>

<p>Samir Thapa was adjudged the man-of-the-match in the final as well as voted player-of-the-tournament. Reshab Raj (United Cements) won the best bowler award for his outstanding bowling. Sameer Thapa (NIC Asia Bank ) won the best batsman award for his remarkable batting. Sandeep Karki (NIC Asia Bank) received the best fielder award. <p>According to NTB, the tourist arrival from India grew by 37.3 percent in August in comparison to the figures of the same month in 2017. &nbsp;&ldquo;The overall arrival from the SAARC countries also saw a growth of 48.3 percent in August in comparison to the same month of 2017,&rdquo; the data shows.</p>

<p>&ldquo;Visitors&rsquo; arrival from China has continued to soar with a growth of 63.9 percent in August. Likewise, the numbers of visitors from Japan and Malaysia have also increased by 3.7 percent and 34.9 percent respectively,&rdquo; a press statement issued by NTB reads.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, tourist arrival from the UK, Germany and France also increased by 21.7 percent, 31.9 percent and 25.7 percent respectively in August. However, the arrival from the Netherlands declined by 30 percent.</p>

<p>The arrival from Australia and New Zealand also saw a growth of 39.8 percent and 18.5 percent in August as compared to the arrival figures of 2017. Similarly, the number of visitors from the United States and Canada also saw a growth of 15 percent each in August.</p>

<p>&ldquo;Better positioning of Nepal&rsquo;s tourism endowments has enhanced Nepal&rsquo;s image and resulted in increased interest from the major source markets. Co-operation and partnership between public and private sector has also played a pivotal role to increase the number of tourists in Nepal,&rdquo; the statement reads.</p>

<p>Dr David Molden, director general of ICIMOD, and HS Bedi, business head for SAARC of Daburm signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations at ICIMOD office, Dhapakhel, Lalitpur during a recent event.</p>

<p>According to Dabur Nepal, the partnership focuses on various components like partnership&nbsp; and regional cooperation, livelihood component covers livelihood option by promotion of bee keeping and medicinal plants agroforestry model, research and innovation, joint activities and projects, capacity building and technology transfer, knowledge development and exchange of information and joint events.</p>

<p>Dabur Nepal said in a statement that it started association with ICIMOD in 2002 with a joint project in the field of medicinal and aromatic plants. Since then, various joint initiatives have been carried out. They have also promoted herbal gardening in various schools of Nepal to generate awareness on the importance of medicinal and aromatic plants. ICIMOD allotted space in its Knowledge Park in Godavari where Dabur has developed and maintained herbal garden since 2013, which has been visited by thousands of people from all over the world.</p>

<p>According to NTB, the tourist arrival from India grew by 37.3 percent in August in comparison to the figures of the same month in 2017. &nbsp;&ldquo;The overall arrival from the SAARC countries also saw a growth of 48.3 percent in August in comparison to the same month of 2017,&rdquo; the data shows.</p>

<p>&ldquo;Visitors&rsquo; arrival from China has continued to soar with a growth of 63.9 percent in August. Likewise, the numbers of visitors from Japan and Malaysia have also increased by 3.7 percent and 34.9 percent respectively,&rdquo; a press statement issued by NTB reads.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, tourist arrival from the UK, Germany and France also increased by 21.7 percent, 31.9 percent and 25.7 percent respectively in August. However, the arrival from the Netherlands declined by 30 percent.</p>

<p>The arrival from Australia and New Zealand also saw a growth of 39.8 percent and 18.5 percent in August as compared to the arrival figures of 2017. Similarly, the number of visitors from the United States and Canada also saw a growth of 15 percent each in August.</p>

<p>&ldquo;Better positioning of Nepal&rsquo;s tourism endowments has enhanced Nepal&rsquo;s image and resulted in increased interest from the major source markets. Co-operation and partnership between public and private sector has also played a pivotal role to increase the number of tourists in Nepal,&rdquo; the statement reads.</p>

The local dealer of the Japanese automobile company had announced offers of exciting tours and cash discounts for the buyers at the recently held NADA Autoshow in Bhrikuti Mandap, Kathmandu.</p>

<p>According to the company, five lucky winners have won a tour to Bali, Indonesia while others have won tour packages to Pokhara and mountain flight tickets.</p>

<p>According to NTB, the tourist arrival from India grew by 37.3 percent in August in comparison to the figures of the same month in 2017. &nbsp;&ldquo;The overall arrival from the SAARC countries also saw a growth of 48.3 percent in August in comparison to the same month of 2017,&rdquo; the data shows.</p>

<p>&ldquo;Visitors&rsquo; arrival from China has continued to soar with a growth of 63.9 percent in August. Likewise, the numbers of visitors from Japan and Malaysia have also increased by 3.7 percent and 34.9 percent respectively,&rdquo; a press statement issued by NTB reads.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, tourist arrival from the UK, Germany and France also increased by 21.7 percent, 31.9 percent and 25.7 percent respectively in August. However, the arrival from the Netherlands declined by 30 percent.</p>

<p>The arrival from Australia and New Zealand also saw a growth of 39.8 percent and 18.5 percent in August as compared to the arrival figures of 2017. Similarly, the number of visitors from the United States and Canada also saw a growth of 15 percent each in August.</p>

<p>&ldquo;Better positioning of Nepal&rsquo;s tourism endowments has enhanced Nepal&rsquo;s image and resulted in increased interest from the major source markets. Co-operation and partnership between public and private sector has also played a pivotal role to increase the number of tourists in Nepal,&rdquo; the statement reads.</p>

<p>According to NTB, the tourist arrival from India grew by 37.3 percent in August in comparison to the figures of the same month in 2017. &nbsp;&ldquo;The overall arrival from the SAARC countries also saw a growth of 48.3 percent in August in comparison to the same month of 2017,&rdquo; the data shows.</p>

<p>&ldquo;Visitors&rsquo; arrival from China has continued to soar with a growth of 63.9 percent in August. Likewise, the numbers of visitors from Japan and Malaysia have also increased by 3.7 percent and 34.9 percent respectively,&rdquo; a press statement issued by NTB reads.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, tourist arrival from the UK, Germany and France also increased by 21.7 percent, 31.9 percent and 25.7 percent respectively in August. However, the arrival from the Netherlands declined by 30 percent.</p>

<p>The arrival from Australia and New Zealand also saw a growth of 39.8 percent and 18.5 percent in August as compared to the arrival figures of 2017. Similarly, the number of visitors from the United States and Canada also saw a growth of 15 percent each in August.</p>

<p>&ldquo;Better positioning of Nepal&rsquo;s tourism endowments has enhanced Nepal&rsquo;s image and resulted in increased interest from the major source markets. Co-operation and partnership between public and private sector has also played a pivotal role to increase the number of tourists in Nepal,&rdquo; the statement reads.</p>
