	The expo is being organised by the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry in collaboration with the Ministry of Commerce; Trade and Export Promotion Center; Lalitpur Chamber of Commerce; and the Federation of Nepal Handicraft Association.</p>
<p>
	The five-day trade expo is being organized at a time when the country is hosting the Nepal Investment Summit on March 29 and 30. Exhibitors from various countries including China, India, Bangladesh, Korea, and Japan are exhibiting their products at the expo.</p>
<p>
	According to the organizers, the exhibition aims to attract international investment and technology.</p>
<p>
	A total of 225 stalls will showcase products in the trade expo out of which 90 stalls are from China.</p>
<p>
	The trade expo will conclude on April 1.</p>

	March 27: A new version of Ford Figo is available across Ford dealerships in Nepal. The starting price of the car is Rs 2.49 million.</p>

	According to the distributor of Ford, the comprehensively redesigned model with more than 1,200 new parts features even more stylish exterior and interior, an array of safety technologies and a new engine promising more power and fun while driving.</p>
<p>
	The new Figo will be available in four variants and two fuel options.</p>
<p>
	The new Figo comes with fuel-efficient three-cylinder 1.2L TiVCT petrol engine, being introduced for the first time. The engine generates best-in-class 96 PS of peak power and 120 Nm of torque, according to a statement issued by the company.</p>
<p>
	For the diesel lovers, the new version will come with the trusted 1.5L TDCi engine delivering class-leading 100 PS peak power, 215 Nm of torque and fuel economy of 25.5 KM/L.</p>
<p>
	Both engines in the new Figo will be paired with a sportier five-speed manual transmission that&rsquo;s almost 15 percent lighter and helps improve fuel economy while reducing NVH. It also requires 40 percent lesser gear oil than its predecessor, the statement said.</p>
<p>
	According to the company, the new Ford Figo offers a host of innovations to keep its owners informed, entertained and safe at all times. The most loved and popular hatchback will continue Ford&rsquo;s leadership on safety, offering standard dual airbags across the variant line-up.</p>
<p>
	Going beyond the airbags, the 2019 edition of Figo will enhance occupants&rsquo; safety with Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), thus helping drivers with better grip and a smooth drive. The new Figo will also enable its owners to navigate through quick turns with the Electronic Stability Program (ESP) and Electric Power Assisted Steering (EPAS) in the automatic variant.</p>
<p>
	To keep the customers entertained and informed, the new Figo will come equipped with a 7- inch homegrown infotainment system with touchscreen and built-in navigation.</p>
<p>
	The new Figo will be available in seven colors, including white gold, moondust silver, smoke grey, absolute black, deep impact blue, ruby red and oxford white.</p>

	Dr Ram Prasad Ghimire, the officiating secretary at the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security, and Japanese Ambassador to Nepal, Masamichi Saigo, signed the the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) amid a programme at Hotel Himalaya, Lalitpur, in the presence of Minister for Labour, Employment and Social Security, Gokarna Bista.</p>

	Minister Bista said the Japan has become an attractive destination for Nepali workers. Meanwhile, Japanese Ambassador Saigo pledged that his country would take good care of the Nepali workers.</p>
<p>
	Prior to this, Japan had been accepting Nepali students who were allowed to work part time. It is estimated that there are around 75,000 Nepalis, including 500 students currently in Japan. Following Monday&rsquo;s agreement, Nepali citizens can now enter Japan on work visa. However, the modality of sending the workers has not been finalized. Those interested in going to Nepal must pass the Japanese language test and skills test.</p>
<p>
	According to the agreement, the two countries have decided to set up a separate mechanism to select candidates. The mechanism will also be responsible for taking tests of the candidates to see if they meet the skills and language requirements.</p>
<p>
	Government agency will be responsible for the selection of candidates, according to Ghimire. However, the number of workers and the criteria for their skills and language proficiency have not been finalized yet. The cost to be incurred by the workers has also not been decided so far.</p>

	March 25: Steel industries of Nepal received investment of Rs 759.5 million in eight months of the current fiscal year. Altogether four new steel industries and other industries manufacturing complementary products of steels have been registered during this period.</p>

	Among the four industries, one of the industries will be set up with Chinese investment while three will operate with domestic investment, said officials at the Department of Industry. According to the department, the steel industries will be set up in Kapilvastu, Nawalparasi, Bara and Dhading.</p>
<p>
	Nepali investors will be investing Rs 247.5 million for Kamakhya Steel Pvt Ltd in Kapilvastu and Rs 247 million for Tain Steel in Nawalparasi. Likewise, Devikripa Hardware Pvt Ltd will be established in Bara with joint investment (50 /50 percent investment) of both foreign and domestic investors. Similarly, Chong Wang Steel Company will be opened in Dhading with Chinese investment.</p>
<p>
	According to the department, altogether 33 industries have been registered since mid-March, 1992 till mid-January, 2019. The industries have been manufacturing TMT steel rods, steel wires, steel furniture, steel pipe, tubes, water tanks, knot bolts among other steel related materials.</p>
<p>
	Altogether 439 people will get employment once the industries come into operation. The department informed that Kamakhya Steel Pvt alone can generate employment opportunity for 140 people. Likewise, Tain Steel will offer jobs to 200 people. Similarly, Chong Wang Steel Company will provide employment opportunity to 80 people.</p>

	According to the distributor of Ford, the comprehensively redesigned model with more than 1,200 new parts features even more stylish exterior and interior, an array of safety technologies and a new engine promising more power and fun while driving.</p>

	The new Figo will be available in four variants and two fuel options.</p>

	The new Figo comes with fuel-efficient three-cylinder 1.2L TiVCT petrol engine, being introduced for the first time. The engine generates best-in-class 96 PS of peak power and 120 Nm of torque, according to a statement issued by the company.</p>

	For the diesel lovers, the new version will come with the trusted 1.5L TDCi engine delivering class-leading 100 PS peak power, 215 Nm of torque and fuel economy of 25.5 KM/L.</p>

	Both engines in the new Figo will be paired with a sportier five-speed manual transmission that&rsquo;s almost 15 percent lighter and helps improve fuel economy while reducing NVH. It also requires 40 percent lesser gear oil than its predecessor, the statement said.</p>

	According to the company, the new Ford Figo offers a host of innovations to keep its owners informed, entertained and safe at all times. The most loved and popular hatchback will continue Ford&rsquo;s leadership on safety, offering standard dual airbags across the variant line-up.</p>

	Going beyond the airbags, the 2019 edition of Figo will enhance occupants&rsquo; safety with Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), thus helping drivers with better grip and a smooth drive. The new Figo will also enable its owners to navigate through quick turns with the Electronic Stability Program (ESP) and Electric Power Assisted Steering (EPAS) in the automatic variant.</p>

	Minister Bista said the Japan has become an attractive destination for Nepali workers. Meanwhile, Japanese Ambassador Saigo pledged that his country would take good care of the Nepali workers.</p>
<p>
	Prior to this, Japan had been accepting Nepali students who were allowed to work part time. It is estimated that there are around 75,000 Nepalis, including 500 students currently in Japan. Following Monday&rsquo;s agreement, Nepali citizens can now enter Japan on work visa. However, the modality of sending the workers has not been finalized. Those interested in going to Nepal must pass the Japanese language test and skills test.</p>
<p>
	According to the agreement, the two countries have decided to set up a separate mechanism to select candidates. The mechanism will also be responsible for taking tests of the candidates to see if they meet the skills and language requirements.</p>
<p>
	Government agency will be responsible for the selection of candidates, according to Ghimire. However, the number of workers and the criteria for their skills and language proficiency have not been finalized yet. The cost to be incurred by the workers has also not been decided so far.</p>

	March 25: Steel industries of Nepal received investment of Rs 759.5 million in eight months of the current fiscal year. Altogether four new steel industries and other industries manufacturing complementary products of steels have been registered during this period.</p>

	Among the four industries, one of the industries will be set up with Chinese investment while three will operate with domestic investment, said officials at the Department of Industry. According to the department, the steel industries will be set up in Kapilvastu, Nawalparasi, Bara and Dhading.</p>
<p>
	Nepali investors will be investing Rs 247.5 million for Kamakhya Steel Pvt Ltd in Kapilvastu and Rs 247 million for Tain Steel in Nawalparasi. Likewise, Devikripa Hardware Pvt Ltd will be established in Bara with joint investment (50 /50 percent investment) of both foreign and domestic investors. Similarly, Chong Wang Steel Company will be opened in Dhading with Chinese investment.</p>
<p>
	According to the department, altogether 33 industries have been registered since mid-March, 1992 till mid-January, 2019. The industries have been manufacturing TMT steel rods, steel wires, steel furniture, steel pipe, tubes, water tanks, knot bolts among other steel related materials.</p>
<p>
	Altogether 439 people will get employment once the industries come into operation. The department informed that Kamakhya Steel Pvt alone can generate employment opportunity for 140 people. Likewise, Tain Steel will offer jobs to 200 people. Similarly, Chong Wang Steel Company will provide employment opportunity to 80 people.</p>

	According to the distributor of Ford, the comprehensively redesigned model with more than 1,200 new parts features even more stylish exterior and interior, an array of safety technologies and a new engine promising more power and fun while driving.</p>

	The new Figo will be available in four variants and two fuel options.</p>

	The new Figo comes with fuel-efficient three-cylinder 1.2L TiVCT petrol engine, being introduced for the first time. The engine generates best-in-class 96 PS of peak power and 120 Nm of torque, according to a statement issued by the company.</p>
<p>
	For the diesel lovers, the new version will come with the trusted 1.5L TDCi engine delivering class-leading 100 PS peak power, 215 Nm of torque and fuel economy of 25.5 KM/L.</p>
<p>
	Both engines in the new Figo will be paired with a sportier five-speed manual transmission that&rsquo;s almost 15 percent lighter and helps improve fuel economy while reducing NVH. It also requires 40 percent lesser gear oil than its predecessor, the statement said.</p>

	According to the company, the new Ford Figo offers a host of innovations to keep its owners informed, entertained and safe at all times. The most loved and popular hatchback will continue Ford&rsquo;s leadership on safety, offering standard dual airbags across the variant line-up.</p>
<p>
	Going beyond the airbags, the 2019 edition of Figo will enhance occupants&rsquo; safety with Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), thus helping drivers with better grip and a smooth drive. The new Figo will also enable its owners to navigate through quick turns with the Electronic Stability Program (ESP) and Electric Power Assisted Steering (EPAS) in the automatic variant.</p>

	Dr Ram Prasad Ghimire, the officiating secretary at the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security, and Japanese Ambassador to Nepal, Masamichi Saigo, signed the the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) amid a programme at Hotel Himalaya, Lalitpur, in the presence of Minister for Labour, Employment and Social Security, Gokarna Bista.</p>

	Minister Bista said the Japan has become an attractive destination for Nepali workers. Meanwhile, Japanese Ambassador Saigo pledged that his country would take good care of the Nepali workers.</p>
<p>
	Prior to this, Japan had been accepting Nepali students who were allowed to work part time. It is estimated that there are around 75,000 Nepalis, including 500 students currently in Japan. Following Monday&rsquo;s agreement, Nepali citizens can now enter Japan on work visa. However, the modality of sending the workers has not been finalized. Those interested in going to Nepal must pass the Japanese language test and skills test.</p>
<p>
	According to the agreement, the two countries have decided to set up a separate mechanism to select candidates. The mechanism will also be responsible for taking tests of the candidates to see if they meet the skills and language requirements.</p>
<p>
	Government agency will be responsible for the selection of candidates, according to Ghimire. However, the number of workers and the criteria for their skills and language proficiency have not been finalized yet. The cost to be incurred by the workers has also not been decided so far.</p>

	March 25: Steel industries of Nepal received investment of Rs 759.5 million in eight months of the current fiscal year. Altogether four new steel industries and other industries manufacturing complementary products of steels have been registered during this period.</p>

	Among the four industries, one of the industries will be set up with Chinese investment while three will operate with domestic investment, said officials at the Department of Industry. According to the department, the steel industries will be set up in Kapilvastu, Nawalparasi, Bara and Dhading.</p>
<p>
	Nepali investors will be investing Rs 247.5 million for Kamakhya Steel Pvt Ltd in Kapilvastu and Rs 247 million for Tain Steel in Nawalparasi. Likewise, Devikripa Hardware Pvt Ltd will be established in Bara with joint investment (50 /50 percent investment) of both foreign and domestic investors. Similarly, Chong Wang Steel Company will be opened in Dhading with Chinese investment.</p>
<p>
	According to the department, altogether 33 industries have been registered since mid-March, 1992 till mid-January, 2019. The industries have been manufacturing TMT steel rods, steel wires, steel furniture, steel pipe, tubes, water tanks, knot bolts among other steel related materials.</p>
<p>
	Altogether 439 people will get employment once the industries come into operation. The department informed that Kamakhya Steel Pvt alone can generate employment opportunity for 140 people. Likewise, Tain Steel will offer jobs to 200 people. Similarly, Chong Wang Steel Company will provide employment opportunity to 80 people.</p>

	According to the distributor of Ford, the comprehensively redesigned model with more than 1,200 new parts features even more stylish exterior and interior, an array of safety technologies and a new engine promising more power and fun while driving.</p>

	The new Figo will be available in four variants and two fuel options.</p>

	The new Figo comes with fuel-efficient three-cylinder 1.2L TiVCT petrol engine, being introduced for the first time. The engine generates best-in-class 96 PS of peak power and 120 Nm of torque, according to a statement issued by the company.</p>

	For the diesel lovers, the new version will come with the trusted 1.5L TDCi engine delivering class-leading 100 PS peak power, 215 Nm of torque and fuel economy of 25.5 KM/L.</p>

	Both engines in the new Figo will be paired with a sportier five-speed manual transmission that&rsquo;s almost 15 percent lighter and helps improve fuel economy while reducing NVH. It also requires 40 percent lesser gear oil than its predecessor, the statement said.</p>

	According to the company, the new Ford Figo offers a host of innovations to keep its owners informed, entertained and safe at all times. The most loved and popular hatchback will continue Ford&rsquo;s leadership on safety, offering standard dual airbags across the variant line-up.</p>

	Going beyond the airbags, the 2019 edition of Figo will enhance occupants&rsquo; safety with Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), thus helping drivers with better grip and a smooth drive. The new Figo will also enable its owners to navigate through quick turns with the Electronic Stability Program (ESP) and Electric Power Assisted Steering (EPAS) in the automatic variant.</p>

	Dr Ram Prasad Ghimire, the officiating secretary at the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security, and Japanese Ambassador to Nepal, Masamichi Saigo, signed the the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) amid a programme at Hotel Himalaya, Lalitpur, in the presence of Minister for Labour, Employment and Social Security, Gokarna Bista.</p>

	Minister Bista said the Japan has become an attractive destination for Nepali workers. Meanwhile, Japanese Ambassador Saigo pledged that his country would take good care of the Nepali workers.</p>
<p>
	Prior to this, Japan had been accepting Nepali students who were allowed to work part time. It is estimated that there are around 75,000 Nepalis, including 500 students currently in Japan. Following Monday&rsquo;s agreement, Nepali citizens can now enter Japan on work visa. However, the modality of sending the workers has not been finalized. Those interested in going to Nepal must pass the Japanese language test and skills test.</p>
<p>
	According to the agreement, the two countries have decided to set up a separate mechanism to select candidates. The mechanism will also be responsible for taking tests of the candidates to see if they meet the skills and language requirements.</p>
<p>
	Government agency will be responsible for the selection of candidates, according to Ghimire. However, the number of workers and the criteria for their skills and language proficiency have not been finalized yet. The cost to be incurred by the workers has also not been decided so far.</p>

	March 25: Steel industries of Nepal received investment of Rs 759.5 million in eight months of the current fiscal year. Altogether four new steel industries and other industries manufacturing complementary products of steels have been registered during this period.</p>
<p>
	Among the four industries, one of the industries will be set up with Chinese investment while three will operate with domestic investment, said officials at the Department of Industry. According to the department, the steel industries will be set up in Kapilvastu, Nawalparasi, Bara and Dhading.</p>
<p>
	Nepali investors will be investing Rs 247.5 million for Kamakhya Steel Pvt Ltd in Kapilvastu and Rs 247 million for Tain Steel in Nawalparasi. Likewise, Devikripa Hardware Pvt Ltd will be established in Bara with joint investment (50 /50 percent investment) of both foreign and domestic investors. Similarly, Chong Wang Steel Company will be opened in Dhading with Chinese investment.</p>
<p>
	According to the department, altogether 33 industries have been registered since mid-March, 1992 till mid-January, 2019. The industries have been manufacturing TMT steel rods, steel wires, steel furniture, steel pipe, tubes, water tanks, knot bolts among other steel related materials.</p>
<p>
	Altogether 439 people will get employment once the industries come into operation. The department informed that Kamakhya Steel Pvt alone can generate employment opportunity for 140 people. Likewise, Tain Steel will offer jobs to 200 people. Similarly, Chong Wang Steel Company will provide employment opportunity to 80 people.</p>
