According to the company, the dialysis centre has enabled the hospital to enhance its capacity to operate health services for kidney patients.<br /> <br /> The company had provided financial support to Teaching Hospital with an aim to enable the people to access critical renal health care services within the country in 2004. The newly completed care centre has capacity to accommodate 16 dialysis machines, and it is equipped with RO water treatment facilities.<br /> <br /> Ncell had support construction of the new center as a part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR). The company has provided financial support of Rs 15 million for the construction of the centre on the third floor of Surgical OPD building, reads a press statement. Apart from building the infrastructure wherein 16 dialysis machines can be installed, the company has also supported to install the RO water treatment system essential for dialysis service. A patient friendly lift having capacity to serve 20 persons at a time has also been installed under this project.<br /> <br /> As per Prof. Dr. Prem Krishna Khadga, Deputy Director of TUTH, operation of the Center will contribute to improve people’s access to kidney health care services. The number of light vehicles also goes down to less than half in the last fiscal year compared to that of previous FY. The vehicles which were used to import through Birgunj checkpoint are shifted to Bhairhawa checkpoint.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">According to the statistics of Birgunj Customs Office, only 5,171 vehicles under car, jeep, van segment entered Nepal through the customs point in 2015/16 down from 11,698 units in 2014/15. Meanwhile, only 70,518 two-wheelers were imported through the point against 109,435 units. Similarly, the import of vehicles chassis also declined in the review year. Only 4,184 chassis of buses and trucks entered the country through Birgunj customs, down from 4,776 during that period. As per Pokharel, only 764 minibuses entered Nepal against 1,558 during the review period. Likewise, the number of trucks and mini-trucks drops from 2,992 to 1,462 at the same period.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">There is not only decrease in number of vehicles entering in Nepal but also other major commodities including petroleum products, industrial raw materials, food stuffs etc have also declined during the period. The number of light vehicles also goes down to less than half in the last fiscal year compared to that of previous FY. The vehicles which were used to import through Birgunj checkpoint are shifted to Bhairhawa checkpoint.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">According to the statistics of Birgunj Customs Office, only 5,171 vehicles under car, jeep, van segment entered Nepal through the customs point in 2015/16 down from 11,698 units in 2014/15. Meanwhile, only 70,518 two-wheelers were imported through the point against 109,435 units. Similarly, the import of vehicles chassis also declined in the review year. Only 4,184 chassis of buses and trucks entered the country through Birgunj customs, down from 4,776 during that period. As per Pokharel, only 764 minibuses entered Nepal against 1,558 during the review period. Only 4,184 chassis of buses and trucks entered the country through Birgunj customs, down from 4,776 during that period. Aryal said that NTA is actively engaged in expanding the broadband connectivity throughout the country. “The tasks of developing broadband internet infrastructures have already been initiated. The board concludes that the progress happening on branch expansion (remote work station) of brokers and significant rise in daily transaction amount in the NEPSE have inadvertently demanded additional clearing bank.</p> <p>SEBON had earlier directed the concerned parties to increase the number of clearing banks to three on April 15, 2015. However, NEPSE ignored the SEBON direction citing satisfactory services of the present clearing bank and pending AMC agreement on purchasing new software including other problems. But now, following the latest reminder of the board, CDSC is preparing to carry out technical analysis in order to add clearing bank. “Subsequent to the technical analysis, modification of present software will be done.
