<p style="text-align:justify">The bill has limited the tenure of BFIs&#39; CEO and Managing Director to 8 years for maximum of two terms. Earlier, the tenure was limited to 10 years comprising 2 terms each with 5 years.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The bill has also set qualification and term for directors of any BFIs. According to the amended bill, the director of any BFIs should have Masters&#39; degree in any faculty or have bachelors&#39; degree with minimum of three years work experience as director or higher official in any BFIs or government owned bodies.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Moreover, the bill also mentioned that any individual with at least 5 years of experience in domestic or international financial institution or in government service will also be eligible to work as a director of any BFIs. However, the bill has prohibited any individual having more than 50 per cent investment in any company dealing with a bank from becoming director of the bank.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Similarly, the amended bill has barred the individuals serving in constitutional posts to become board of director of any BFIs. After the implementation of the bill, the BFIs can convert their promoters share into general share after completing 10 years of operation by taking approval from NRB.&nbsp;</p>

The customers buying Daily Voice Pack of 11 minutes at Rs 11 will get additional 11 minutes of talk time which means customers will get a total of 22 minutes of talk time with validity of 24 hours.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">According to the statement, the customers subscribing weekly voice pack at Rs 60 will get a total of 140 minutes instead of 70 minutes with validity of 7 days. Similarly, monthly voice pack users can enjoy 800 minutes instead of 400 minutes at Rs 200 with validity of 30 days. In this way, with monthly voice pack, the customers can make call to any Ncell number at 25 paisa per minute. Pack rate includes applicable government taxes.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Based on their requirement for voice service, the customers can activate the voice packs through existing channels including USSD, IVR and SMS and take benefit of &lsquo;Ek Ma Dui Offer&rsquo;.&nbsp; Customers can dial 17118 and press 1 for daily voice pack, 2 for weekly pack and 5 for monthly voice pack to activate the voice pack. In USSD method, customers can dial *17118# and select a desired option of the voice pack.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Similarly, while buying the pack through SMS, the customer will have to type 11 for daily pack, 60 for weekly pack and 200 for monthly pack and send it to 17118 for activation.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">&ldquo;We are pleased to unveil the offer that ensures price benefits, making voice more affordable to our valued customers. The offer goes in line with our commitment to provide quality services at affordable rates,&rdquo; said Milan Sharma, corporate communications expert of Ncell.</p>

According to the amended bill, the director of any BFIs should have Masters&#39; degree in any faculty or have bachelors&#39; degree with minimum of three years work experience as director or higher official in any BFIs or government owned bodies.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Moreover, the bill also mentioned that any individual with at least 5 years of experience in domestic or international financial institution or in government service will also be eligible to work as a director of any BFIs. However, the bill has prohibited any individual having more than 50 per cent investment in any company dealing with a bank from becoming director of the bank.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Similarly, the amended bill has barred the individuals serving in constitutional posts to become board of director of any BFIs. After the implementation of the bill, the BFIs can convert their promoters share into general share after completing 10 years of operation by taking approval from NRB.&nbsp;</p>

In this way, with monthly voice pack, the customers can make call to any Ncell number at 25 paisa per minute. Pack rate includes applicable government taxes.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Based on their requirement for voice service, the customers can activate the voice packs through existing channels including USSD, IVR and SMS and take benefit of &lsquo;Ek Ma Dui Offer&rsquo;.&nbsp; Customers can dial 17118 and press 1 for daily voice pack, 2 for weekly pack and 5 for monthly voice pack to activate the voice pack. In USSD method, customers can dial *17118# and select a desired option of the voice pack.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Similarly, while buying the pack through SMS, the customer will have to type 11 for daily pack, 60 for weekly pack and 200 for monthly pack and send it to 17118 for activation.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The bill has limited the tenure of BFIs&#39; CEO and Managing Director to 8 years for maximum of two terms. Earlier, the tenure was limited to 10 years comprising 2 terms each with 5 years.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The bill has also set qualification and term for directors of any BFIs. According to the amended bill, the director of any BFIs should have Masters&#39; degree in any faculty or have bachelors&#39; degree with minimum of three years work experience as director or higher official in any BFIs or government owned bodies.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Moreover, the bill also mentioned that any individual with at least 5 years of experience in domestic or international financial institution or in government service will also be eligible to work as a director of any BFIs. However, the bill has prohibited any individual having more than 50 per cent investment in any company dealing with a bank from becoming director of the bank.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Similarly, the amended bill has barred the individuals serving in constitutional posts to become board of director of any BFIs. After the implementation of the bill, the BFIs can convert their promoters share into general share after completing 10 years of operation by taking approval from NRB.&nbsp;</p>

According to the amended bill, the director of any BFIs should have Masters&#39; degree in any faculty or have bachelors&#39; degree with minimum of three years work experience as director or higher official in any BFIs or government owned bodies.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Moreover, the bill also mentioned that any individual with at least 5 years of experience in domestic or international financial institution or in government service will also be eligible to work as a director of any BFIs. However, the bill has prohibited any individual having more than 50 per cent investment in any company dealing with a bank from becoming director of the bank.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Similarly, the amended bill has barred the individuals serving in constitutional posts to become board of director of any BFIs. After the implementation of the bill, the BFIs can convert their promoters share into general share after completing 10 years of operation by taking approval from NRB.&nbsp;</p>

FHAN is organising the fair in cooperation with Ministry of Commerce, Nepal Trade Integration Strategy (NTIS Program) and Trade and Export Promotion Centre with a slogan &#39; Possibility of Handicraft Expansion&#39; at Exhibition Hall, Bhrikuti Mandap, Kathmandu from November 25 to 29. The fair which is being organised with an objective of promoting handicraft items will have 176 stalls with 7 pavilions.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">&quot;The fair will have more than 200 exhibitors showcasing crafts ranging from home decor to home textile, personal accessories to precious metal crafts and so on,&quot; informed FHAN.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">&quot;The fair is being organised with an objective of development, expansion and promotion of handicraft trade and expand its internal as well as international market,&quot; said Dharma Raj Shakya, President of FHAN. &quot;The handicraft industry makes the highest contribution to the economy after agricultural industry. The sector has also helped earning foreign currency,&quot; he added.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">According to Hom Nath Upadhya, Vice-President of FHAN, handicrafts worth Rs 10 billion are exported from Nepal annually. He voiced that more than 1.1 million people are employed in the industry directly and indirectly. &quot;In the recent time, the sector is facing trouble due to machine and technology used in handicraft production and the hardship created by the earthquake and border blockade. We are not being able to export handicraft as per demand also because of lack of training,&quot; he added.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The expo kicked off in exhibition hall of Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu from November 18 and continues till November 22. As per the organiser, the expo is being organized with a view to provide adequate information about electric and electronic products to producers, consumers, sellers, experts and consultants. The organiser informed that expo will help to enhance the market of electronic products and relationship between entrepreneurs, producers and stakeholders. Issuing a press statement, FEEN informed that the expo showcases various products of national and international brands and the visitors can get adequate information related alternative sources of energy as well. This kind of expo can help to invite latest technology and foreign investment in the country, the federation informs. The expo is showcasing various products including transformer, wires, switch, multi-plug, heater, AR conditioner, bulbs, fan, light, electronic battery and inverter.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Issuing a press statement, the company informed that the scheme, which is coming into effect from Monday, November 21 will provide double minutes on the purchase of existing daily, weekly and monthly voice packs at the existing price. The customers buying Daily Voice Pack of 11 minutes at Rs 11 will get additional 11 minutes of talk time which means customers will get a total of 22 minutes of talk time with validity of 24 hours.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">According to the statement, the customers subscribing weekly voice pack at Rs 60 will get a total of 140 minutes instead of 70 minutes with validity of 7 days. Similarly, monthly voice pack users can enjoy 800 minutes instead of 400 minutes at Rs 200 with validity of 30 days. In this way, with monthly voice pack, the customers can make call to any Ncell number at 25 paisa per minute. Pack rate includes applicable government taxes.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Based on their requirement for voice service, the customers can activate the voice packs through existing channels including USSD, IVR and SMS and take benefit of &lsquo;Ek Ma Dui Offer&rsquo;.&nbsp; Customers can dial 17118 and press 1 for daily voice pack, 2 for weekly pack and 5 for monthly voice pack to activate the voice pack. In USSD method, customers can dial *17118# and select a desired option of the voice pack.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Similarly, while buying the pack through SMS, the customer will have to type 11 for daily pack, 60 for weekly pack and 200 for monthly pack and send it to 17118 for activation.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">&ldquo;We are pleased to unveil the offer that ensures price benefits, making voice more affordable to our valued customers. The offer goes in line with our commitment to provide quality services at affordable rates,&rdquo; said Milan Sharma, corporate communications expert of Ncell.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">&quot;The offer will remain in place for three months if not terminated earlier. Once the validity period of the packs expires or talk time finishes, customer will be charged normal tariff.
