The AGM has approved the issue of cash dividend of Rs 20 per share for the year 2012/2013. Dividend will be distributed from 4th March 2014. NIC Asia Bank held its 16th Annual General Meeting in Biratnagar on 28th February. This is the first AGM held after the commencement of the operation as NIC ASIA Bank, formed through the merger of former NIC Bank and Bank of Asia. The AGM has approved the issue of cash dividend of Rs 20 per share for the year 2012/2013. Dividend will be distributed from 4th March 2014. For the fiscal year, the Bank’s deposit reached Rs 39.91 billion, lending to Rs 31.55 billion and posted a net profit of Rs 642 million. Jagadish Prasad Agrawal, Trilok Chandra Agrawal, Tulsiram Agrawal, Lokmanya Golcha and Ramchandra Sanghai were elected from the promoters shareholders group in the AGM. This is the first AGM held after the commencement of the operation as NIC ASIA Bank, formed through the merger of former NIC Bank and Bank of Asia. The AGM has approved the issue of cash dividend of Rs 20 per share for the year 2012/2013. Dividend will be distributed from 4th March 2014. For the fiscal year, the Bank’s deposit reached Rs 39.91 billion, lending to Rs 31.55 billion and posted a net profit of Rs 642 million. Jagadish Prasad Agrawal, Trilok Chandra Agrawal, Tulsiram Agrawal, Lokmanya Golcha and Ramchandra Sanghai were elected from the promoters shareholders group in the AGM. Similarly, Rajendra Prasad Aryal, Birendra Kumar Sanghai and Binod Kumar Pyakurel were elected unanimously for another term from public shareholders group as directors.</div>

Nepal SBI Bank Ltd has started online ticket booking services for Indian trains for its customers. The service was started by Indian ambassador to Nepal Ranjit Rae on 28th February amid a ceremony. Deputy Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari participated in the ceremony as the special guest. According to a press statement from the Bank, the online ticket services provided through its online portal is the first of its kind in Nepal and is expected to benefit Nepalis who visit India for various proposes. </div>
