Boeing Realigns Research & Technology Unit
Boeing has announced that it will establish technology research centers in Alabama, California, Missouri, South Carolina and Washington as it continues to lay the foundation for increased competitiveness and future growth. The company will restructure its Boeing Research & Technology organization, the company’s central research-and-development unit, through the establishment of research centers in Alabama, Southern California, St Louis, South Carolina and Seattle. The new centers will operate independently but cooperatively with one another and with Boeing technology centers in Australia, Brazil, China, India, Spain and Russia. USD 100 Million Signed at Vietnam-China International Trade and Tourism Fair 2013 
A closing ceremony was held on December 12 in Mong Cai city to close the Vietnam-China International Trade and Tourism 2013. According to the Organizing Board, the Vietnam-China International Trade and Tourism 2013 drew the participation of more than 300 goods booths of 200 Vietnamese enterprises and 121 stores of 91 Chinese companies. During the fair, 10 economic contracts were signed with the total cost of USD 100 million of which, five contracts on trade and five contracts on tourism and production. The Fair is said to be a good chance for the enterprises of the two countries in general and Mong Cai and Dongxing in particular to exchange, introduce their products and promote trade and investment. Also at the ceremony, 19 organizations were granted with merits by QNPPC for their great efforts and excellent achievements in organizing the fair.
 
Travel, Tech and Trends – the 3 T’s of Fiturtech 2014
The Hotel Technological Institute (ITH) and FITUR’s are organizing Fiturtech 2014 in Madrid with the slogan T 3 – Travel, Tech and Trends. The event will review the history of the tourism industry and what the future will advance that opens to the companies, for which innovation, connectivity, online distribution and mobility offer great challenges and promising opportunities.
