LA Splash 
B-Facto International Pvt Ltd introduced cosmetics brand LA Splash for the first time in Nepal. LA Splash, a division of John Davler, is a US based cosmetics brand which has been selling cosmetic products in around 35 countries since 1996. LA Splash has a huge cosmetics range, from products for eyes, lips, face and nails to primers, glitters and accessories. The cosmetics come in a variety of vibrant and trendy colors and shades, making it especially appealing to teenagers. Besides the shades and colours that appeal to youth, LA Splash also has a wide range of mineral based cosmetics, especially designed for women. The range offered is large enough to cater to the needs of women from any age group. LA Splash is reasonably priced and before introducing LA Splash in Nepal, the company conducted a survey to understand the marketability aspect among other factors. B-Facto International also offers free makeup trials in Civil Mall, Sundhara on the same floor as its showroom.
 
Mac Personal Care 
Cosmetics products from Mac Personal Care Industry include cleansing milk, moisturiser, face wash, ginger shampoo and others. Birat Trading is the authorised distributor of the company in Nepal. Of the 65 different products, 53 items are being currently marketed in Nepal. The India based company claims it uses herbal extracts to manufacture the products, which is the main aspect of their product with the slogan “Truly Natural”. Besides India and Nepal, the cosmetic products are being marketed in Singapore. The products are being sampled in Dubai and the UAE. The company believes in informing the general public about the raw materials used to manufacture the products and the effects on their respective functions rather than decreasing the quality and the price of the product for marketing. 
 
Enricher Herbal 
Cosmoworld Cosmetic Industries introduced Enricher Herbal cosmetic products in the Nepali market. The company has been producing cosmetic products in Nepal for the last two years. It recently launched rose water, neem facewash, papaya facewash, papaya, aloe vera and neem cleansing milks, apricot scrub, facial massage cream, strawberry and vitamin E enriched nail polish remover, and cold wax, among others. According to the company, these products are available in the price range of Rs 60 to Rs 120. Cosmoworld said the products are made of different types of herbs and thus help protect the skin without any effects. The company has appointed San Impex as the authorized distributor for marketing and distributing Enricher Herbal products. The company banks on the huge demand for herbal cosmetic products in Nepal.
 
Diana of London 
Diana of London (DoL), a brand owned by European cosmetic major MaxCare International, is a renowned brand in cosmetic products. In August 2012, Rishabh Trade Concern (RTC), its authorised distributor, introduced their products in the Nepali market. According to the company, the demand and market for cosmetics is growing every year in the country. RTC imports products from Maxcare International, Dubai. In Nepal, the company has introduced 44 varieties of DoL products — such as lipstick, nail polish, eye shadow, foundation, compact powder, eyeliner, mascara, et cetera — in as many as 500 different shades. Targeted at the upper middle class and high-end costumers, the brand is available in selected counters only. The company is selling their products through 23 counters in Kathmandu, Pokhara and Biratnagar. The price of products starts from Rs 260 and scales up to Rs 1,500. The most popular products of the brand include 2000 Kisses, Catwalk mascara and nail polish.
