Nepal Furniture & Furnishing Association (NFFA) is an umbrella organisation of furniture and furnishing manufacturers, product importers, distributors, dealers and professionals. It is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation established in 2056 BS with the involvement of a group of renowned furniture and furnishing related business people of Nepal. It focuses on promoting of furniture and furnishing products in Nepal in urban as well as rural areas besides protecting the rights of this sector’s businessmen and professionals. The Association believes in public private partnership and in assisting the Government of Nepal in related objectives like national import/export, manufacturing policy etc. It also believes in advocacy of user rights such as cases of warranty, guarantee, counterfeit, fraud issues of grey channel and any other denial of end user rights. </p>

<strong>Bira Furniture </strong></p>

Bira Furniture is one of the oldest wooden factory in Nepal, established in 1963 and deals in all kinds of wooden products, manufacturing and supplying furniture, door/window frames, trusses, parquets, wall paneling etc. The company, now run by his family, was established by Padam Shrestha. Since the time man started building, there has been engineering and in case of wooden products, there has been ‘Timber Engineering’. Bira Furniture knows how to design the wood crafts so that its method of structural analysis is put into practice. The transition of wood craft to wood art in the sphere of timber engineering to create elegance above excellence is Bira’s motto. In its 43 years of service, the company has made an exclusive clientele of leading hotels, resorts, hydro electric projects, showrooms, restaurants, schools, offices and residences with strong and upscale market possession. </p>
