The report was based on figures from 2013. </p> <p>Nepal received an overall score of 6.56 (in a scale of 1 to 10 where a higher value indicates a higher level of economic freedom). It jumped 20 places up in the global ranking. Jungle safari and rhinos are the main attractions for both domestic and international tourists in Chitwan.</p> <p>In 2014, a total of 173,425 tourists visited CNP contributing a revenue of Rs 246.9 million which is higher than the revenue collected by any of the parks and reserves. </p> <p>Shivapuri National Park (SNP) has drawn the highest number of tourists - a total of 180,464 tourists to be precise - collecting a revenue of Rs 10.3 million. The amount is 2.5 million more than that of last year. Shivapuri is visited by many domestic as well as international tourists as it is near Kathmandu, according to tourism entrepreneurs.</p> <p>Similarly, Sagarmatha National Park and Langtang have collectively earned Rs 136.5 million. </p> <p>Khaptad National Park is listed as a low revenue-collecting park, compared to other parks and reserves.
