He also said that the Nepal Police was ready to deploy around 80 percent of personnel to create an enabling environment for conducting the election.He, however, said that the number may vary depending on the number of personnel to be deployed by Nepal Army and Armed Police Force. He further said that a Central Election Desk has been formed to come up with security measures for the safety of voters, election candidates, political party leaders, polling stations across the country.<br />

The panel is mandated to prepare an election policy and strategy and organise a campaign across the country. Committee members include Vice-chairmen Dr Baburam Bhattarai and Narayan Kaji Shrestha, General Secretary Post Bahadur Bogati, chiefs of the party’s five bureaus, coordinators of its 14 state committees and the heads of the party wings.<br />

	<strong>Nepal Police Ready for the Polls </strong><br />

	Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Nawaraj Silwal, at a press meet hels at the police hadquarters on Thursday said that they are prepared to ensure safety and security for the upcoming Constituent Assembly (CA) polls. He also said that the Nepal Police was ready to deploy around 80 percent of personnel to create an enabling environment for conducting the election.He, however, said that the number may vary depending on the number of personnel to be deployed by Nepal Army and Armed Police Force. He further said that a Central Election Desk has been formed to come up with security measures for the safety of voters, election candidates, political party leaders, polling stations across the country.<br />
