			'content' => '<p>September 6: The telecommunication service provider United Telecom Limited (UTL) has acquired unified license for basic telephony service after paying the fourth installment of pending royalty on September 5.</p>

<p>UTL has obtained the basic telephony service license after three and half years back since the government&rsquo;s tactical decision. Earlier Nepal Telecommunications Authority (NTA) had decided to provide basic telephony service licenses to the UTL and Smart Telecom on April 11 in 2013. However, the Authority decided not to provide the license until the telecom service provider pay the pending royalty installment.</p>

<p>Prior to this, the licensing process had halted many times as the company delayed the submission of &lsquo;role-out plan&rsquo;. Moreover, disapproval of &lsquo;Plan&rsquo; from NTA &nbsp; and overdue charges also prevented the license many times.</p>

<p>Nevertheless, UTL has become second service provider to obtain basic telephony service. Now the company can operate all the telecommunications related services including GSM mobile. Previously, Smart Telecom had only obtained the basic telephony license.</p>

<p>&ldquo;UTL has paid the entire overdue amount to the Authority,&rdquo; informed Jhalak Thapa Magar, Assistant Director of NTA. UTL has paid Rs 204.1 million as forth installments of pending royalties on September 2.&nbsp;</p>

<p>According to NTA, UTL has already paid all the charges related to the license. UTL paid Rs 357.5 million to the Authority in April/May 2015. The license is issued for 10 years and needed to pay renewal charges every year in installments.&nbsp;</p>

The auto show that started from August 30 at Bhrikutimandap was visited by more than 70,000 people. According to Krishna Prasad Dulal, General Secretary of NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal, vehicles equivalent to Rs 7 billion have been booked during the auto fair. The organiser informs that the majority of stalls participated in the auto fair received the booking order of 200-300 vehicles.&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">In four-wheeler brands, Datsun, Fiat, Ford, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Mahindra, MG, Nissan, Renault, Skoda, Maruti Suzuki, Tata, Toyota, Volkswagen and Ssangyong have made their participation in the auto show. Likewise in two-wheeler section, Bajaj, Bela, Hero, Benelli, KTM, Mahindra, Royal Enfield, Runner, Scomadi, Suzuki, TVS, UM, Vespa, and Yamaha have made their presence in auto show. In heavy commercial vehicle section Ashok Leyland, Eicher, Escorts, Mahindra and Tata has also participated in the auto show.</p>

After the merger, the paid-up capital, deposit collection and loan extension of the bank has reached Rs 1.15 billion, Rs 11.94 billion and 9.54 billion respectively. Similarly, the bank has widened its network with 40 branches, 11 ATMs and 204,487 customers. The bank has topped all the development banks on the number of customers.</p>

<p>UTL has obtained the basic telephony service license after three and half years back since the government&rsquo;s tactical decision. Earlier Nepal Telecommunications Authority (NTA) had decided to provide basic telephony service licenses to the UTL and Smart Telecom on April 11 in 2013. However, the Authority decided not to provide the license until the telecom service provider pay the pending royalty installment.</p>

<p>Prior to this, the licensing process had halted many times as the company delayed the submission of &lsquo;role-out plan&rsquo;. Moreover, disapproval of &lsquo;Plan&rsquo; from NTA &nbsp; and overdue charges also prevented the license many times.</p>

<p>Nevertheless, UTL has become second service provider to obtain basic telephony service. Now the company can operate all the telecommunications related services including GSM mobile. Previously, Smart Telecom had only obtained the basic telephony license.</p>

<p>&ldquo;UTL has paid the entire overdue amount to the Authority,&rdquo; informed Jhalak Thapa Magar, Assistant Director of NTA. UTL has paid Rs 204.1 million as forth installments of pending royalties on September 2.&nbsp;</p>

<p>According to NTA, UTL has already paid all the charges related to the license. UTL paid Rs 357.5 million to the Authority in April/May 2015. The license is issued for 10 years and needed to pay renewal charges every year in installments.&nbsp;</p>

The event, sponsored by Servo, was organised with a joint collaboration of NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal and Global Exposition and Management Services. The auto show that started from August 30 at Bhrikutimandap was visited by more than 70,000 people. According to Krishna Prasad Dulal, General Secretary of NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal, vehicles equivalent to Rs 7 billion have been booked during the auto fair. The organiser informs that the majority of stalls participated in the auto fair received the booking order of 200-300 vehicles.&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The auto show hosted the grand exhibition of vehicles, spare parts and related accessories. The auto fair was very popular among customers as it exhibited new models of vehicles having modern technologies under the same roof. Similarly, the gathering between dealers, producers, sellers and buyers played important role in the development and marketisation of automobile sectors, said General Secretary Dulal.&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The auto show had total 125 stalls occupied by 73 exhibitors including local and international auto brands. There were 16 different four-wheelers brands, 15 two-wheeler brands and five heavy commercial vehicle brands participating in the exhibition.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">In four-wheeler brands, Datsun, Fiat, Ford, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Mahindra, MG, Nissan, Renault, Skoda, Maruti Suzuki, Tata, Toyota, Volkswagen and Ssangyong have made their participation in the auto show. Likewise in two-wheeler section, Bajaj, Bela, Hero, Benelli, KTM, Mahindra, Royal Enfield, Runner, Scomadi, Suzuki, TVS, UM, Vespa, and Yamaha have made their presence in auto show. In heavy commercial vehicle section Ashok Leyland, Eicher, Escorts, Mahindra and Tata has also participated in the auto show.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Similarly, the auto show also had stalls of financial institution, spare parts, lubricants, tire, generator, batteries and other accessories.&nbsp;</p>

<p>UTL has obtained the basic telephony service license after three and half years back since the government&rsquo;s tactical decision. Earlier Nepal Telecommunications Authority (NTA) had decided to provide basic telephony service licenses to the UTL and Smart Telecom on April 11 in 2013. However, the Authority decided not to provide the license until the telecom service provider pay the pending royalty installment.</p>

<p>Prior to this, the licensing process had halted many times as the company delayed the submission of &lsquo;role-out plan&rsquo;. Moreover, disapproval of &lsquo;Plan&rsquo; from NTA &nbsp; and overdue charges also prevented the license many times.</p>

<p>Nevertheless, UTL has become second service provider to obtain basic telephony service. Now the company can operate all the telecommunications related services including GSM mobile. Previously, Smart Telecom had only obtained the basic telephony license.</p>

<p>&ldquo;UTL has paid the entire overdue amount to the Authority,&rdquo; informed Jhalak Thapa Magar, Assistant Director of NTA. UTL has paid Rs 204.1 million as forth installments of pending royalties on September 2.&nbsp;</p>

<p>According to NTA, UTL has already paid all the charges related to the license. UTL paid Rs 357.5 million to the Authority in April/May 2015. The license is issued for 10 years and needed to pay renewal charges every year in installments.&nbsp;</p>

Likewise in two-wheeler section, Bajaj, Bela, Hero, Benelli, KTM, Mahindra, Royal Enfield, Runner, Scomadi, Suzuki, TVS, UM, Vespa, and Yamaha have made their presence in auto show. <p>UTL has obtained the basic telephony service license after three and half years back since the government&rsquo;s tactical decision. Earlier Nepal Telecommunications Authority (NTA) had decided to provide basic telephony service licenses to the UTL and Smart Telecom on April 11 in 2013. However, the Authority decided not to provide the license until the telecom service provider pay the pending royalty installment.</p>

<p>Prior to this, the licensing process had halted many times as the company delayed the submission of &lsquo;role-out plan&rsquo;. Moreover, disapproval of &lsquo;Plan&rsquo; from NTA &nbsp; and overdue charges also prevented the license many times.</p>

<p>Nevertheless, UTL has become second service provider to obtain basic telephony service. Now the company can operate all the telecommunications related services including GSM mobile. Previously, Smart Telecom had only obtained the basic telephony license.</p>

<p>&ldquo;UTL has paid the entire overdue amount to the Authority,&rdquo; informed Jhalak Thapa Magar, Assistant Director of NTA. UTL has paid Rs 204.1 million as forth installments of pending royalties on September 2.&nbsp;</p>

<p>According to NTA, UTL has already paid all the charges related to the license. UTL paid Rs 357.5 million to the Authority in April/May 2015. The license is issued for 10 years and needed to pay renewal charges every year in installments.&nbsp;</p>

The event, sponsored by Servo, was organised with a joint collaboration of NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal and Global Exposition and Management Services. The auto show that started from August 30 at Bhrikutimandap was visited by more than 70,000 people. According to Krishna Prasad Dulal, General Secretary of NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal, vehicles equivalent to Rs 7 billion have been booked during the auto fair. The organiser informs that the majority of stalls participated in the auto fair received the booking order of 200-300 vehicles.&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The auto show hosted the grand exhibition of vehicles, spare parts and related accessories. The auto fair was very popular among customers as it exhibited new models of vehicles having modern technologies under the same roof. <p style="text-align:justify">In four-wheeler brands, Datsun, Fiat, Ford, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Mahindra, MG, Nissan, Renault, Skoda, Maruti Suzuki, Tata, Toyota, Volkswagen and Ssangyong have made their participation in the auto show. Likewise in two-wheeler section, Bajaj, Bela, Hero, Benelli, KTM, Mahindra, Royal Enfield, Runner, Scomadi, Suzuki, TVS, UM, Vespa, and Yamaha have made their presence in auto show. In heavy commercial vehicle section Ashok Leyland, Eicher, Escorts, Mahindra and Tata has also participated in the auto show.</p>

After the merger, the paid-up capital, deposit collection and loan extension of the bank has reached Rs 1.15 billion, Rs 11.94 billion and 9.54 billion respectively. Similarly, the bank has widened its network with 40 branches, 11 ATMs and 204,487 customers. The bank has topped all the development banks on the number of customers.</p>
