Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS) reported that Lete, Kaishang and Muktinath witnessed heavy snowfall on Monday as these areas continue to be fully covered in snow since a week.</p>
<p>
With the continuous snowfall, Thasang Rural Municipality has been cut off from power supply and communications since a week, RSS quoted district police office chief, DSP Mahendra Bahadur Khadka, as saying.</p>
<p>
Similarly, Baragung-Muktikshetra Rural Municipality is also covered with snow.</p>
<p>
Flights to and from Jomsom Airport has been disrupted following the heavy snowfall, said Bishal Barun, official of Civil Aviation Authority, Jomsom office.</p>
<p>
As a result, domestic and foreign tourists visiting the areas have been affected.</p>
