According to the National Park, more visitors from neighbouring districts including Bajura, Achham, Doti and Bajhang visit the national park for inspection and leisure.</p>

Domestic tourists can visit the national park for free while the authorities charge Rs 3,390 per person for foreigners.</p>

In their bid to boost up the tourism activities, the people at Baglek, the main entrance of Khaptad, are planning to begin home-stay service targeting the visitors. Chief of the Hoteliers’ Association, Doti, Dipak Bahadur Khakda shared that the home-stay service would be started in 10 houses at Baglek with the joint investment of the rural municipality and hoteliers.</p>

January 17: Khaptad National Park, one of the main tourist sites in the far-western Nepal, has witnessed an upsurge in tourist arrival lately, according to a news report published by Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS).</p>
<p>
The state-run news agency reported that the national park has collected Rs 200,000 plus revenue from the visitors so far in the current fiscal year.</p>
<p>
Assistant Conservation Officer of the National Park, Prakash Bahadur Shah, said that more than 1,000 tourists including 29 foreigners have arrived here during this fiscal year.</p>
<p>
According to the National Park, more visitors from neighbouring districts including Bajura, Achham, Doti and Bajhang visit the national park for inspection and leisure.</p>
<p>
Domestic tourists can visit the national park for free while the authorities charge Rs 3,390 per person for foreigners.</p>
<p>
In their bid to boost up the tourism activities, the people at Baglek, the main entrance of Khaptad, are planning to begin home-stay service targeting the visitors. Chief of the Hoteliers’ Association, Doti, Dipak Bahadur Khakda shared that the home-stay service would be started in 10 houses at Baglek with the joint investment of the rural municipality and hoteliers.</p>
