January 20: Clock b Business Innovations in collaboration with Kathmandu-based Embassy of India organised the second edition of ConnectIN International Entrepreneurship Conclave in the capital on Saturday, January 19.</p>

The organisers said that the prime objective of organising the conclave was to promote the young entrepreneurs of Nepal to connect with investors and venture capitalists, discuss with the entrepreneurial ecosystem actors and network with fellow entrepreneurs from India.</p>

“At a time when Nepali startups are trying to make footprints in various business sectors, it has become important to connect them with budding entrepreneurs from other countries and various players of the startup ecosystem,” the organisers wrote on their official Facebook page.</p>
<p>
Clock b Business Innovations said that the event focuses on supporting the young entrepreneurial community of Nepal and creating an idea exchange platform for entrepreneurs from India and Nepal.</p>
<p>
Clock b Business Innovations argued that there has been an epic rise in the number of youths interested in the area of entrepreneurship in Nepal and India in the recent years.</p>
<p>
According to Clock b Business Innovations, startups are designing and implementing matchless ideas whether it is in the area of technology, e-commerce, travel or agriculture. However,</p>

for these ideas to make the impact there is a need of serious support systems.</p>
<p>
“These great leadership minds of the two countries need to be invested in and connected to the support system actors. There are certain states and cities like West Bengal (Kolkata) and Karnataka (Bengaluru) that have become entrepreneurship hubs. It is important to promote exchange between such entrepreneurship hubs of India and Nepal.”</p>
