<p>According to Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS), the prizes were presented in the third edition of the ‘Swiss Nepal Technology Transfer’ workshop 2019 held in Kathmandu on Friday, January 11.</p>
<p> The workshop was organized by Nepalese Scientific Association Switzerland (NEPSAS), an organization of Nepalis studying and working in Switzerland.</p>
<p>Issuing a statement, the organiser said that the one with the best prototype among the two start-ups will get a chance to represent Nepal in the upcoming World Innovation Forum.</p>
<p>A total of 80 competitors had been selected from among more than 500 applicants for the prize. They were divided into different groups and were provided training for four days at GATE College in Kathmandu by experts in the field of technology and business, reads a statement issued by the organiser.</p>
<p>NEPSAS has been promoting start-up based on science and technology in the country with the objective of discouraging brain drain and to nurture the talents within the country.</p>
