<p>Minister Raghubir Mahaseth shared at a press conference held at the ministry on Sunday, December 30, that 7 projects had achieved 50-80 per cent progress while 5 projects have gained 50 per cent progress. <br />
Similarly, six projects related to roads were yet to be implemented in the first four months of the current fiscal year, according to Rastriya Samachar Samiti. <br />
Minister Mahaseth, shedding light on the progress made in the railway connectivity, said, "Railway service will start along the 35-kilometer stretch of Jayanagar-Janakpur-Kurtha in a few months. Another 17-kms of railway track will be constructed to stretch the railway service upto Bijulpura in India." </p>
<p>Mahaseth further informed that trains will operate upto Bardibas in two years and upto Nijgadh in four years. <br />
"Matters relating to the operation of the Jayanagar-Janakpur railway service will be known by January 10," he said, adding that a decision was already made to operate the train with Nepali national flag in it. <br />
The consultants are conducting feasibility study of the Kerung-Kathmandu Railway, according to MoPITM. </p>
<p>It was also shared during the press conference that the Council of Ministers recently made a decision to purchase 300 electronic buses to operate in the Kathmandu Valley and had introduced a concept paper for transport infrastructure and transportation management in urban areas. <br />
Minister Mahaseth also shared that 16 Transport Management Offices and 13 Service Offices were handed to the provincial governments. <br />
The concept of transportation management has been introduced to streamline the public transportation system in the country, RSS reported. </p>

<p>Minister Raghubir Mahaseth shared at a press conference held at the ministry on Sunday, December 30, that 7 projects had achieved 50-80 per cent progress while 5 projects have gained 50 per cent progress. <br />
Similarly, six projects related to roads were yet to be implemented in the first four months of the current fiscal year, according to Rastriya Samachar Samiti. <br />
Minister Mahaseth, shedding light on the progress made in the railway connectivity, said, "Railway service will start along the 35-kilometer stretch of Jayanagar-Janakpur-Kurtha in a few months. Another 17-kms of railway track will be constructed to stretch the railway service upto Bijulpura in India." </p>
<p>Mahaseth further informed that trains will operate upto Bardibas in two years and upto Nijgadh in four years. <br />
"Matters relating to the operation of the Jayanagar-Janakpur railway service will be known by January 10," he said, adding that a decision was already made to operate the train with Nepali national flag in it. <br />
The consultants are conducting feasibility study of the Kerung-Kathmandu Railway, according to MoPITM. </p>
<p>It was also shared during the press conference that the Council of Ministers recently made a decision to purchase 300 electronic buses to operate in the Kathmandu Valley and had introduced a concept paper for transport infrastructure and transportation management in urban areas. <br />
Minister Mahaseth also shared that 16 Transport Management Offices and 13 Service Offices were handed to the provincial governments. <br />
The concept of transportation management has been introduced to streamline the public transportation system in the country, RSS reported. </p>

<p>Minister Raghubir Mahaseth shared at a press conference held at the ministry on Sunday, December 30, that 7 projects had achieved 50-80 per cent progress while 5 projects have gained 50 per cent progress. <br />
Similarly, six projects related to roads were yet to be implemented in the first four months of the current fiscal year, according to Rastriya Samachar Samiti. <br />
Minister Mahaseth, shedding light on the progress made in the railway connectivity, said, "Railway service will start along the 35-kilometer stretch of Jayanagar-Janakpur-Kurtha in a few months. Another 17-kms of railway track will be constructed to stretch the railway service upto Bijulpura in India." </p>
<p>Mahaseth further informed that trains will operate upto Bardibas in two years and upto Nijgadh in four years. <br />
"Matters relating to the operation of the Jayanagar-Janakpur railway service will be known by January 10," he said, adding that a decision was already made to operate the train with Nepali national flag in it. <br />
The consultants are conducting feasibility study of the Kerung-Kathmandu Railway, according to MoPITM. </p>
<p>It was also shared during the press conference that the Council of Ministers recently made a decision to purchase 300 electronic buses to operate in the Kathmandu Valley and had introduced a concept paper for transport infrastructure and transportation management in urban areas. <br />
Minister Mahaseth also shared that 16 Transport Management Offices and 13 Service Offices were handed to the provincial governments. <br />
The concept of transportation management has been introduced to streamline the public transportation system in the country, RSS reported. </p>
