The announcement was made by the managing director of Buddha Air during the 22nd anniversary of the company on Wednesday, October 11. </p>
<p>Birendra Basnet, managing director of Buddha Air informed that the airline plans to initiate its international flights from Pokhara International by opening a public company with 30 percent share of its share, 30 percent share of its strategic partner and 40 percent public share.</p>
<p>The airline aims to initiate the international operation within three years after the completion of Pokhara International Airport. Basnet further said that the company will acquire Boeing 737 aircraft for the operation of international flights.</p>
<p>Buddha Air, with a fleet of six ATR 72-500, four ATR 42-500 and two Beechcraft, has been connecting Kathmandu with Bhadrapur, Biratnagar, Simara, Janakpur, Bhairahawa, Nepalgunj, Bharatpur and Pokhara under its domestic flights and has recently initiated its fight operation to Beneras of India.</p>
