Announcing budget in the parliament on Tuesday, Finance Minister Yuba Raj Khatiwada said that a total of Rs 5.20 billion has been allocated for tourism, while Rs 19 billion has been allocated for civil aviation sector.
The government has prioritized construction of Nijgadh airport, Pokhara Regional International Airport and Gautam Buddha Regional International Airport. Likewise, the government has also allocated budget for the maintenance of Tribhuvan International Airport.
The government has set a plan to organise ‘Visit Nepal 2020’ campaign. It also has set the target to attract more than 2 million tourists in the country annually. To support the ambitious target, the government will build Kirtipur Cultural Museum, and has also announced other targets to support the tourism sector.

<p>Announcing budget in the parliament on Tuesday, Finance Minister Yuba Raj Khatiwada said that a total of Rs 5.20 billion has been allocated for tourism, while Rs 19 billion has been allocated for civil aviation sector.</p>
<p>The government has prioritized construction of Nijgadh airport, Pokhara Regional International Airport and Gautam Buddha Regional International Airport. Likewise, the government has also allocated budget for the maintenance of Tribhuvan International Airport.</p>
<p>The government has set a plan to organise ‘Visit Nepal 2020’ campaign. It also has set the target to attract more than 2 million tourists in the country annually. To support the ambitious target, the government will build Kirtipur Cultural Museum, and has also announced other targets to support the tourism sector.</p>
