According to the directive, the eateries are required to display the price list at a publicly visible location inside the shop and to maintain standard sanitation on the kitchen, eating area and the toilet. According to the directive, the monitoring officials after inspection will issue card of different colours to the hotels and restaurants. The colours will represent the level of standards maintained. –Accordingly, the green will be for 80 per cent and above of the standard, blue for less than 80 per cent and yellow for less than 40 per cent.</p>

Businesses that run without license will be slapped up to five years of imprisonment or fined Rs 100,000. If a consumers faces long term health problems from consumption of unhealthy food in a restaqurant, such service providers will be sent for 15 years of imprisonment or fined Rs 500,000 or both. ï® </p>',
