The capacity of the hydropower project is estimated to be 111MW. The locals of Sindhuli are pressurizing the government for early construction of the hydropower. Kokhajor is the one of the 50 projects indentified as big and pumped storage projects of Nepal in 5<sup>th</sup> International Conference on Water resources and Hydropower development in Asia held in Sri Lanka on 2014. </p>
