The construction of road tunnel that started on last August concluded on November 30. As per the Department of Road, Upper Tamakoshi constructed road tunnel is the first of its kind in Nepal. The breakthrough has eased the re-start of the works that were halted by destruction of entrance road in Kabrebhir area caused by the devastating earthquake of last year. </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">"The main civil constructor of the project 'Sino Hydro' has breakthrough 337 meters long tunnel with 32 meter diameters from Kabrebhir at 10 am," said Dr Ganesh Neupane, Spokesperson of Upper Tamakoshi Hydro Project. One of the auditors of the Sino Hydro informed of spending Rs 120 million in the construction of road tunnel. As per the employees related with the project, after the breakthrough, the project might generate electricity before its scheduled date. </p>
