Karki inaugurated the exchange by telephoning Dr. Somlal Subedi, Chief Secretary on Nepal Government. </p>
<p style="text-align:justify">Speaking in the program, Karki urged for optimal utilization of information and technology in order to enhance skill and capacity building. “We can minimize the number of Nepali youths going abroad for job opportunities if we succeeded to do this," he added.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify">On the occasion, Kamini Rajbhandari, Managing Director of NT informed that the company is in process of improving its services for its customers. She informed that the company is preparing to provide 3G services in each sector and is also working to rollout 4G network service in coming days.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify">According to the company, newly operated Naharpur exchange has capacity of 96 lines out of which 64 lines are telephonic (voice) and 32 ports have ADSL data capacity. The company said that the local customers will benefit from telephone and internet services after the operation of the exchange. The company has been operating such exchanges in the various locations lacking accessibility of such services.</p>
