Norvic International Hospital is bringing its “Lun-Ganga Operating Suites”, a newly built, state-of-art and international standard operation theatre (OT) into operation. Krishna Bahadur Mahara, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister of Nepal is scheduled to inaugurate the OT on Wednesday, September 14. Issuing a press statement, the hospital informed that the contractor hired for the purpose of making Norvic's new OT is one of the leading and technically the most competent company in South Asia.</p>

According to the statement, the OT surface finish does not permit bacterial retention hence making the OT infection free. “The panels used in the operating theatre are self-standing and do not require any civil walls or any frame work saving lot of floor space in the OT. It meet EU standard for safety, fire rating and quality,” reads the statement. The hospital claims that the PUF used is fire retardant from DOW or BASF.</p>
<p><br />
Moreover, the hospital said that the melamine finish on the surface provides scratch resistance and hence do not require any repainting or maintenance.</p>
