Under the insurance category, Nepal Life Insurance Company and Shikhar Insurance Company received Best Managed Life Insurance Company and Best Managed Non-life Insurance Company respectively. Meanwhile, Butwal Power Company bagged Best Managed Hydropower company award, the award category initiated from this term only. Furthermore, Dabur Nepal received the Best Managed Joint Venture Company of the year.</p>

For the selection of Best Managed Company, Prof Dr Bhoj Raj Aryal, Ambika Shrestha, Former Banker, Krishna Gyawali, Former Secretary of Ministry of Industry and CA Madan Sharma were appointed. Pashupati Murarka, President of FNCCI, Hari Bhakta Sharma, President of CNI and Rajesh Kaji Shrestha, President of NCC were engaged in selection for Lifetime Achievement Award. The company was awarded at the event '3<sup>rd</sup> Asian Paints Newbiz Business Conclave and Awards 2016' organised by New Business Age on August 19 at Kathamandu. Meanwhile, Chiranji Lal Agrawal, Chairman of MC group was honored with Lifetime Achievement Award. The company which has been conducting such event for the third time has awarded business houses and people under eight different categories this year.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">In the ceremony, Nabil Bank bagged the Best Managed Commercial Bank of the year succeeding all its competitors. Moreover, Chhimek Laghubitta Bikash Bank received the Best Managed Microfinance of the year award. Under the insurance category, Nepal Life Insurance Company and Shikhar Insurance Company received Best Managed Life Insurance Company and Best Managed Non-life Insurance Company respectively. Meanwhile, Butwal Power Company bagged Best Managed Hydropower company award, the award category initiated from this term only. Furthermore, Dabur Nepal received the Best Managed Joint Venture Company of the year.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The winners for various award categories were selected by the jury members selected among the experts from the respective sectors. For the selection of Best Managed Company, Prof Dr Bhoj Raj Aryal, Ambika Shrestha, Former Banker, Krishna Gyawali, Former Secretary of Ministry of Industry and CA Madan Sharma were appointed. Pashupati Murarka, President of FNCCI, Hari Bhakta Sharma, President of CNI and Rajesh Kaji Shrestha, President of NCC were engaged in selection for Lifetime Achievement Award. Similarly, for the commercial and insurance award category, Anal Raj Bhattarai, Former Banker and CA, CA Sudarshan Pandey and Former Banker Parshuram Kunwar were appointed. Likewise, for the selection of Best Managed Hydropower company, CA Sashi Satyal, Advocate Mahesh Thapa, Former Banker Barsha Shrestha and Shreeranjan Lakaul, Former Secretary of Minitry of Energy were the jury members. </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The jury members on the basis of best management, contribution made by them towards economy of the country and various criteria selected companies and business people for the awards. </p>
