August 7: Delegations of Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FNCCI) had a meeting with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal. In a meeting, delegates of FNCCI had briefed Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal about the problems and challenges of industry and business sectors of the country. During the meeting held at official residence of the Prime Minister at Baluwatar on August 6, the delegation led by FNCCI President Pashupati Murarka expressed the belief that PM Dahal’s term would be successful and industry-friendly.

In the meeting, Vice President of FNCCI, Kishor Pradhan and Shekhar Golchha, Executive Committee Member Chandra Prasad Dhakal, Ashok Kumar Todi, Jyotsana Shrestha, and Vijay Kumar Temani and Bijay Shingh Baidhya, Chairman of Birgunj Chamber of Commerce and Industry Pradeep Kedia, and Director General of the FNCCI Mina Shrestha were present.

During the meeting President Murarka urged to thrive industry business sector and to create a new investment-friendly environment inside the country. He suggested that the new government should give high priority towards amendment, mobilization and passing the necessary policies demanded by private sectors. President Murarka, on the occasion said that the private sectors are being discouraged as the industrial business sector is being influenced by various problems.

President Murarka also requested PM Dahal to solve the problems raised by private sectors as they will make contribution to economical development, employment generation, revenue and prosper industrial/business sector in the country. On the occasion, Murarka said that private sector is ready to collaborate with the government. He also committed to provide full support to the new government in order to bring the economic development.

On the occasion, PM Dahal said that the government in collaboration with the private sector is willing to move forward.  He also stressed that the private sector should be clear for the qualitative progress in the economical sector.
